Chalet on Shady Lane is a newly constructed mountain lodge in Schaffer’s Mill featuring a sleek & comfortable aesthetic. This breathtaking 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom townhome features 3,090 square feet of living space spread out over two floors. You’ll fall in love with this gorgeous mountain lodge as soon as you walk in. The home is open, bright, warm, and inviting – perfect for families! The main living space is open to the chef’s kitchen providing ample bar seating to entertain and additional dining seating for 8. There’s plenty of room for the whole family to gather around. The four-bedroom home features three King Bedrooms, with a fourth offering a Queen Bed and Twin over Full Bunk.
Equipped with everything you need to enjoy a magical getaway in the mountains, the outdoor patio with built-in fire pit and gas grill is sure to impress! Both beautiful and functional, the open floor plan contains hardwood floors, and a custom-built fireplace surrounded by 8-foot windows to offer plenty of natural light. On the bottom level of the home, you’ll find two bedrooms: both with King-sized beds, and spa-like bathrooms. This level also has a garage and laundry room. Upstairs offers two additional bedrooms: Primary King Suite and ensuite bathroom; Kids Room featuring Queen bed and Twin over Full bunk with an adjoining bathroom to the loft area.
The upper level also features a bonus media area with large flat screen tv, and a variety of books and board games for extravagant entertainment! The rec room has a large balcony with breathtaking views of the beautiful pine trees and a comfy couch perfect for reading or watching your favorite movies.

PLACER COUNTY STR ORDINANCE: Placer County requires we inform you of the rules and regulations relevant to your home's Short Term Rental Permit. These policies are strictly enforced and fines from the county ranging from $1,500 - $5,000 can be issued to guests for each violation.
PARKING: Parking is limited to 3 vehicles (1 can park in the garage, 2 can fit in the driveway). All cars must be parked in the garage and/or driveway. Parking on the street is prohibited at all times.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: There shall be no gatherings, events, weddings or other group functions on the premises with more people than the number of persons stated on the agreement.
QUIET HOURS: (9PM – 8AM) No sound from the vacation rental home shall be audible from the parcel line during this time. Noise shall be minimized in order that it not be an unreasonable annoyance, disturbance, or nuisance to neighbors.
LIGHTS OUT: All exterior lights that are not needed for safety or other outdoor use to the extent that such other outdoor use is not an unreasonable nuisance to neighbors must be turned off between the hours of 10pm-7am, seven days a week.
RED FLAG WARNINGS: Due to extreme wildfire danger all outdoor wood or charcoal burning is prohibited, including open wood burn pits, bonfires, campfires, and charcoal grills. Do not bring personnel grills or portable fireplaces. When a National Weather Service Red Flag Warning is in effect for the geographical area where the short-term rental is located, all sources of outdoor open flame (including gas/propane/pellet BBQs) are prohibited. It is your responsibility to be informed of Red Flag Warnings. You will see signs on the front of all fire district stations, hear about it on the news, see it on social media and hear about it on the radio.
TRASH: Please keep our bears safe by properly storing and disposing of trash. Do not leave food unattended in your cars our outside for any reason. Trash should be disposed of in the bear-proof trash receptacles located within the properties garage.
