Egal, ob Sie ein Hausbootfahrer, Skifahrer, Fischer, Sightseer, Sonnenanbeter oder Wassersportler sind, Norris Lake bietet alles. Der Norris Lake entstand 1936 durch den Bau des Norris Dam. Dieses Wasserkraftprojekt war das erste der Tennessee Valley Authority. Das wunderschöne blaugrüne Wasser des Sees erstreckt sich über eine Küstenlinie von mehr als 800 Meilen und erstreckt sich über 34.000 Morgen. Die Grenzen von Norris erstrecken sich entlang der Flüsse Clinch und Powell, die Norris mit klarem, unberührtem Wasser versorgen. Es ist ein ideales Umfeld für Sportler und Urlauber.

Dieses Haus liegt in einer wunderschönen Bucht am Lake Norris. Es verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer und der Keller ist ein Schlafbereich / Spielzimmer. Das Obergeschoss hat ein Kingsize-Bett in einem der Zimmer und das andere Zimmer hat ein Queensize-Bett, ein komplettes Badezimmer mit Dusche / Badewanne, separates privates Whirlpool-Haus, Veranda, Treppe zum Dock, Keller mit Sofas / Queen bett, 1 einzelbett mit ausziehbares einzelbett unter beiden betten im keller etagenbereich. Es gibt Highspeed-Internet und Fernseher sowohl im Obergeschoss als auch im Schlafraum. Waschmaschine und Trockner sind im Erdgeschoss.

Genießen Sie die schöne Tierwelt, die private Umgebung, das Schwimmen, die Bootsrutsche, die Jet-Ski-Rutschbahn, die vielen Liegestühle und das Angeln.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass es 250 +/- Schritte von der Kabine zum Dock gibt (und wieder zurück !!). Es ist die Mühe wert, dorthin und zurück zu gelangen, aber wir möchten sicherstellen, dass unsere Kunden dies wissen, bevor sie sich zur Miete verpflichten.

Die nächsten Jachthäfen mit dem Auto sind Whitman Hollow Marina und Indian River Marina, und mit dem Boot - Sequoyah Marina ist am nächsten. An allen drei Häfen können Boote ausgeliehen werden.

Norris Lake vacation

Loved the property, house, and area. Didn’t have much luck fishing and it rained a lot(Hurricane Helene), but we still had a great time. The owner, Mr French, was wonderful to work with and very accommodating!

Beautiful little cove

Had an absolute blast staying here with my family. The stairs to the dock can get taxing but totally worth it. I would recommend renting a boat (we did) it was so much fun going tubbing.

Fun private lakeside retreat, stairs no joke

Loved the private dock on a private cove on a beautiful lake. The 259 stairs are no joke, but well worth the climb for the great time on the water.

Family Vacation

Homey and beautiful

Christmas Escape

Very pleasant escape away from the regular grind. It was very secluded, which is what we were looking for. The driveway was a little tight. Would love to spend a week here in the summer as well.

Dock was amazing

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed, but we spent most of our time down at the lake. The dock was fantastic and we had a blast jumping off the top. The hot tub was huge and was great for winding down at the end of the day. Cove was beautiful and quiet, even on a holiday weekend. We were very happy with our stay.

Spring Trip

Would be a great place to summer vacation. The weather could have been better for our March stay but we made the best out of it. Would have loved to lounge out on the dock all day, just not in high 30 to low 40 deg temps. Would love to plan a summer trip here.

Best Cove!

We had a great time at the cabin. Had everything we needed. The dock was awesome and it is on the best cove I’ve seen at Norris. There are a lot steps but we managed just fine, even with our 2 pups they did great. We knew exactly what to expect. Host was extremely nice and accommodating.

Had a great time

This property was so peaceful and relaxing. Definitely a lot of privacy since there are no close neighbors. The dock was amazing and we spent a lot of time there. The hot tub was huge and fit all 5 of us just fine. Chuck was very nice and helpful and responded extremely fast whenever I had a question. Check in and out was very easy and simple. I will definitely be adding this to my list of vacation homes to return to.

Excellent Location

The property was great for having a boat and the house had everything we needed. Just as it states those stairs are no joke but we planned accordingly and had big coolers of ice at the dock and brought what we needed for the day. The dock was great and I loved that it was in a cove pretty much by itself. Great host.

We loved our stay!

House was very clean and had lots of extra supplies which came in handy. We loved sitting on the deck at night. Beds were very comfortable. Hot tub was very large and nice after a day on the boat. The double decker dock was perfect and we spent a LOT of time out there. I knew about the many steps down to the water so I was prepared for them but if you have any problems walking down steep steps it might be a problem for you but we made it work. Location was great as well. Check in and out was very easy and Chuck was a great host.

Private Oasis

Perfect location and very private. You have the whole cove to yourself with the exception of a few boaters from time to time. The dock is amazing and provides plenty of entertainment. The water is gorgeous and a beautiful emerald green color. The house is exactly what a lake house should be. Has everything you need. The steps are fine going down but as everyone says they are brutal going back up. We packed for the day and made sure we only had to go up them once each day which worked out fine. Roads going to the house are very twisty so take Dramamine if you are prone to motion sickness as well as for the floating dock. We had a wonderful trip!

Stairway to almost heaven

There are 270 up and 270 down. Unit is older. Hot tub sucks needs new one. It’s like a 1980 unit. In the woods was great no Nieghbor s. But it just really dated.

As others have stated, good and bad, it was all true. Yes, there are 300 steps to the awesome, private, & fun 2 story dock ever! However, I was surprised at how quickly we acclimated to them! One thing to note: There is an inflatable kayak and tube on the deck to use. SO FUN! Something I would suggest, is to bring some camp chairs for the firepit. Otherwise, you'll have to drag some off the porch and they are quite heavy duty. WE ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE! (Well, except that our youngest granddaughter lost her glasses while on the deck!!) We all agreed it was one of the best times we've spent as a family. We will definitely stay again!!!

Great getaway for the holidays!

We loved this cabin. It was me, my hubby and my 4 almost grown kids. We were greeted with a happy thanksgiving note with homemade pumpkin pie and snacks. These were so necessary as the store was 30 minutes away. It was so good to get away from the world and responsibilities. There were many games, great WiFi, and many comfy pillows and blankets. I loved the porch swing. Kids slept downstairs and were a bit cold. A nice space heater may have been helpful. The hot tub was fabulous! We cooked an entire thanksgiving meal efficiently in the kitchen. Everything was in working condition. The water pressure in the bathroom is great. The steps to the lake were exciting. We needed the exercise. The lake and dock are beautiful ! I hope we can return in the summer. Our 2 large dogs loved the place as well. The owner is super friendly and helpful and available. Thank you thank you thank you for sharing your place with us. !!

Not worth the nightly cost

The cabin needs alot of updating and cleaning, the smell in the basement was awful. The comforter on the bed smelled like it had not been cleaned for a very long time, the bed didn't have a mattress pad, and the pillows were not usable we bought some from Walmart for our stay. We wanted to open the sliding glass doors to enjoy the mountain smells and the breeze, but couldn't because they didn't have screens. My husband and I are in our early 60s and in pretty good shape and the stairs are just not easy to use, way to steep. The lake was beautiful once you made it down the stairs, and the dock was awesome. The hot tub room was great, but half the jets in the hot tub did not work. We have rented from Vrbo several times and this was the first time we were disappointed. This cabin should be lot less cost. I'm thinking around 130 a night for the condition, and what it has to offer.

We also bought it so that we could create and cultivate wonderful memories with our children, family, extended family, and friends! The waters are the most beautiful boating waters around! The marina's are so clean and well equipped. The trees are stunning around the fresh clear water on Norris Lake. Our family memories continue to grow at this wonderful home on the lake.
