HOME, WA: Home has a fascinating and rich history as it was founded in 1895 as a utopian community by members of the Christian socialist movement. The town was envisioned as a place where people could live and work cooperatively, sharing resources and benefiting from communal ownership. Although the utopian experiment eventually failed, Home's history as a unique and idealistic community lives on.

EVENTS: Events of up to 25 people are allowed with prior approval (max deck capacity is 15) with an event fee. Due to septic, a portable restroom must be secured and used by event guests. Use of event tents and stakes must be agreed upon by host due to septic drain field. We ask that any vehicles that do not fit in the driveway be parked at the designated overflow parking lot two blocks from the home. Overflow parking is available at all times except Sunday's before 1pm or the third Saturday before 12pm.


A few notes about our rules, designed for your safety, respect for the neighborhood, and to preserve the value and condition of the home:
-Age minimum to book is 27 years old.
-Please follow all house and hot tub rules as posted in the house binder (note: hot tub is not for use during non-quiet hours: 10pm-8am).
-All guest profiles must be included on the reservation.
-When accessing beach: there is a public boat launch a few minute walk from the home, and please be mindful of signage as trespassing on private beaches is not allowed. Read signs and do not enter the water on private property. We will hear from our neighbors and they won't be happy.
-No fireplace use--chimney/flue is obstructed.
-Please do not wear shoes in the home.
-Notify the host immediately of any damage.
-We ask that you enjoy yourself, but smoking, illegal substances, pets, and parties are not permitted.
-We are only able to accept dogs with a nightly fee. If you are bringing your dog, this must be communicated with the host at the time of booking. Please pick up after your dogs. Dogs are not allowed to be left unattended at the home.
-We ask that people respect the reservation they committed to, and only registered guests (including dogs) are allowed.
-If additional people stay in the house outside of the reservation, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation with no refund or charge an additional fee for each person staying.
-We reserve the right to inspect and service the home during your visit, including, but not limited to required weekly gardener service & hot tub service, arranged by homeowner.
-There is a fully refundable damage deposit that will be charged prior to check in and returned after check out provided no damage or excessive cleaning is required.
-Note: There are external security cameras for security reasons. We also have noise monitoring devices around the property that do not collect audio recordings but only monitor for sound levels to ensure we can remain in compliance with county obligations. If for any reason neighbors or security are involved in noise complaints, the guest is responsible. First warning $500 charge and the second disturbance is grounds for eviction.
