We are located next to The HUB/BIG CHILL on 30A in the Prominence Community between Rosemary Beach and Seaside. A Premium Luxury Home, the Salty Sarafin is a beautiful 5 bedroom, 5.5 bath house located in 30A's hottest community called Prominence. The HUB/BIG CHILL located right behind the home. This is a NO SMOKING/NO VAPING property. NO PETS or animals of any kind allowed.

This Luxury home has a attached carriage house with a courtyard located between the main house and the carriage house. New Owner with lots of upgrades in home.

Bicycle rentals and much more!

Property Damage Insurance Is Required On All Reservations

INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
We furnish a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Small dishwasher soap, small dish soap, trash bags-2, small washing machine powder, liquid hand soap in bathrooms, kitchen sponge, each bathroom has one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen.

*********IF YOUR RENTING A GOLF CART**********PLEASE NOTE ON YOUR GOLF CART RENTALS: The Prominence HOA has only one company you can rent a golf cart with on the Prominence property. The exclusive provider for Prominence is 30A Gulf Carts, contact is Adam. Security does enforce this strict policy. If you rent a golf cart from another provider, they will make you remove the cart and fine you a $100 per day until the cart is removed.

BEACH ACCESS TO THE WEST:

DEER LAKE STATE PARK- DEER LAKE IS THE MOST POPULAR AND THE CLOSEST BEACH ACCESS TO PROMINENCE AND IS LOCATED .5 MILES AWAY. WHILE IT IS POPULAR, THERE ARE A FEW THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND: THERE IS A SMALL PARKING AREA AT THE ACCESS (APROX. $3 FOR PARKING) BATHROOMS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE AT THE ACCESS. THE WALK FROM PARKING AREA TO THE BEACH IS A BIT LONGER THAN MOST AREA ACCESS. IMPORTANT - BECAUSE THIS IS A STATE PARK, AND NOT A WALTON COUNTY BEACH ACCESS, ALCOHOL IS NOT ALLOWED. BEACH SERVICE IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS LOCATION. WALTON DUNES: WALTON DUNES IS ABOUT 2 MILES TO THE WEST AT THE END OF BEACHFRONT TRAIL. THIS IS A WALTON COUNTY BEACH ACCESS WITH PARKING AND SHORT DISTANCE TO THE BEACH.

SANTA CLARA: SANTA CLARA IS A WALTON COUNTY BEACH ACCESS LOCATED NEAR BRAMBLE GROVE ROAD, ABOUT 3.5 MILES TO THE WEST OF PROMINENCE. THIS IS A SCHEDULED STOP FOR THE PROMINENCE FREE BEACH SHUTTLE. PARKING AND BATHROOMS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE AT THE SANTA CLARA ACCESS. IF YOU TAKE THE PROMINENCE SHUTTLE, PLEASE NOTE THAT THE HOURS OF OPERATION ARE 9 AM TO 3 PM.

BEACH ACCESS TO THE EAST:

GULF LAKES: THE GULF LAKES ACCESS IS A WALTON COUNTY BEACH ACCESS LOCATED ABOUT .5 MILES TO THE EAST OF PROMINENCE. THIS IS A SMALL ACCESS AND CAN BE EASILY MISSED. PARKING IS NOT AVAILABLE, BUT MAKES FOR A GREAT BIKE RIDE TO THE BEACH.

SEA BREEZE: SEA BREEZE IS A WALTON COUNTY BEACH ACCESS THAT IS JUST PAST THE GULF LAKES ACCESS. PARKING AND BATHROOMS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT THE ACCESS, HOWEVER, THERE IS A SHOWER.

Great Stay in 30-A

This house was great for our family of 10. Each couple and kids had their own bedroom and bathroom, which is ideal. Worked out perfect. Location is very accessible to lot of things to do. Area is super busy, but the kids loved it. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful home in a great location

We had a great stay at this rental home. Being able to walk to the Big Chill was awesome and the home was great for our big family group! Be aware it’s not walkable to the beach, but it was an easy bike ride (we would have my husband drop us off and go back to the house to park and then bike back to meet us). 2 beautiful pools and it was great for all the adults have their own room and bathroom. The garage was a big plus! We will be back.

Spring break

Amazing house, plenty of space , plenty of supplies in kitchen including air fryer. House is right outside the hub. Perfect for young teens. Bikes so they can ride. 2 pools. And short drive to beach. Also like hub location because half of 30a which makes it easier collecting your kids at curfew. Highly recommend.

Fabulous location and house

We stayed here with another family and it was perfect. The house sits right behind the HUB and the kids would walk over for ice cream or to hang out with friends. The bikes come in handy for rides to the beach or just around the neighborhood. There isn’t beach access but the Deer Lake beach area is right down the road. Bring exact change for parking, they don’t have change. About the house. It’s fully stocked to cook. We loved the ice maker for the cooler and water bottles. Although we ate at the bar in the mornings for breakfast, the dining room was perfect for dinner. The rooms were gorgeous. If you are a TV watcher, there is one in every room. There is a quaint courtyard that i enjoyed reading in. The owner was also a delight! Answered all my questions and was so accessible. We loved this property and would stay again!

AMAZING Location & Friendly Host

Our family LOVED the house!! Location cannot be beat with access to the Big Chill virutally in the back yard and the beach access at only .5 miles away makes for an easy bike ride! All bedrooms are VERY spacious and it was a definite plus that each had its own bathroom. The hostess was also extremely helpful and provided quick responses to all of our questions. A few suggestions NONE of which would be deal breakers to staying here again – 1. While access to park cars in the garage is very nice and even necessary at times given the limited, non-reserved street parking, the space is tight for 2 cars especially since all 4 bikes are also kept in there. Perhaps an outdoor bike rack for the bikes would help alleviate that as well as removing extra owner items to a storage closet. 2. Someone has to push the buttons on the back wall of the garage to close the doors and go through the main house and out the front door. Automatic openers and/or a code to the units outside the garage doors would be helpful. 3. The listing only mentions no Wi-Fi in the carriage house, but there is also no cable making the TV in there unusable. 4. The house sleeps up to 12 guests and unless it’s expected guests will be eating out for each meal, a pantry is necessary as there just is not enough counter space for meal prep and food storage. 5. Would be a nice added touch of convenience to have a grill in the courtyard.
