Clean, Quiet, Decent

The house was clean upon arrival, but definitely has an "older house smell". The beds are comfortable, but felt small. I'm guessing they're fulls not queens and I might have just missed that in the listing. Mary does a nice job keeping it tidy and welcoming. We didn't spend much time at the house as we were only in town for a quick one-night stay, however it had all the basic needs. A personal welcome note, candy dish, and fresh flowers left on the counter were a lovely and very thoughtful touch. We've stayed in many rentals, varying from really nice, brand new to straight-up scary. This one lands in the middle. Quiet neighborhood, close to amenities.

Family Time

Stayed at this wonderful property in September. Very comfortable home, bed was great. Yard and home worked great for our Dog and our family. Had everything needed. I cooked in several days. Have stayed here in the past and will return again if available. Owner is awsome to deal with

This property is centrally located and was perfect for our needs. We brought our dog and he loved the fenced in backyard! Hostess was amazing and made our stay very easy! Thank you Mary for a wonderful place to stay!

Excellent stay

We were extremely happy at The Sanctuary. The house was well appointed, very clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable. Mary left a binder with easy instructions explaining wifi, hot tub, etc. We would definitely stay there again when in the area.

Decent but not amazing

Unfortunately the front yard was all bark and was not usable. The fireplace was covered with cardboard because it was broken. 2 of the kids got a rash from the hot tub. The rest of the house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The owner did tell us after checking in about the yard and fireplace but that felt dishonest that that wasn’t disclosed beforehand or there wasn’t a price adjustment once we couldn’t use those things. Overall the place worked well and the back yard was nice

Home away from home

We stayed five days while going to Silverwood and were very happy with our stay here. The house was fully stocked with all the essentials and I greatly appreciated that. Mary sure knows what she's doing! Thanks Mary!

Cozy & caring

We’ve stayed at a fair number of VRBOs over the years and once in a while you just get that feeling that the host genuinely cares and is a wonderful person; this is one of those! The place was VERY clean and organized and there was a personalized welcome note and fresh flowers cut from the yard. Everything was thought out & layed out in the house.

July Family visit

The house needs just a little updating but was extremely clean and everything was in good repair. The wall air conditioning unit was able to adequately cool the house during our hottest (100+ degrees) days. The backyard was wonderful and great for entertaining visitors. The location was very convenient for everything we wanted to do.

This is a fantastic property! Mary was very easy to communicate with and so kind. Great stay

Overall great spot, comfortable and well equipped with cooking equipment and spices. Only negative is that it is not close to anything, but nothing is too far away in coeur d’alene. It more than makes up for it by being quiet and having a lovely backyard. Would stay again.

Nice respite for the road weary!

The Sanctuary was spotlessly clean and well equipped. We stayed for 2 nights as a break on a long road trip. The hot tub was especially appreciated for relaxing. The highlight was the terrific backyard with plenty of seating and dining areas. Our pup loved the grass and shade. We'll stay here again if in the area! Thanks Mary!

A Welcoming Stay

We came to CDA to celebrate Father’s Day with my daughter. When we came in there were fresh flowers,chocolates, and a card from the owner. The bed was comfortable and my husband loved the jacuzzi! Everything was neat and clean! The yard was large and would be a great gathering place!

Awesome place to hang out and relax

Decided to book this home on our way back from Yellowstone. It was very clean, has an awesome backyard, and is close to lots of food and gas. The backyard is awesome. Chairs to relax, hot tub to unwind, and comfortable beds to recharge. I would not hesitate to book again.

A very nice, large, comfortable apartment

The apartment was in a pleasant area and had a very spacious and comfortable kitchen/dining/lounge area and good bedrooms. Outside there was a seating patio area with gas barbecue and hot tub if you wanted it. WiFi was very good. Communication by host Mary was good and she even left us some Lindt chocolates - very nice. A perfect place for a stay in Coeur D’Alene!

Excellent place to stay, very clean

Very comfortable, quiet neighborhood, beautiful back yard to enjoy with your morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Beds are comfortable. We would definitely stay there again
