Bad or terrible smell
I ended up not staying after arriving !!!The listing is very deceiving, i went in and the air conditioner was on and all windows open, it had a terrible smell and i was not going to try to sleep in there. it did look clean i will admit but the so called pond is a mosquito trap and the whole place could use some tlc. im not sure what the smell was but may have been pet urine. i tried calling the phone number given and got no responce. i waited a little bit then decided to move on to find a place to stay. i told the man we could fix the problem and he wouldnt consider it through messages he told me i was a boomer and got pretty rude and told me to kick rocks. im not sure weather i should not use vrbo or just chock it up as a bad experience with one of there bad renters. very sad though im not one to complain much but i dont live like that and not going to stay somewhere like that. He said it was just the smell of a cabin. ive stayed alot of places in my travels and never smelled something like that. Think twice before renting off of this man. vrbo need to make him put pictures of what he considers a nice place to stay also has green moss all over the old rotted deck i do have pictures if vrbo need them to see what they are renting.
