Willkommen in Stillwater Beach House, am schönen Frölander Bay in der Stillwater Gebiet südlich von Powell River, BC Wir liegen direkt am Wasser, unter turmhohen immergrüne Bäume mit einer unglaublichen Aussicht Malaspina Strait und Texada Island gelegen. Bei jedem Wetter, ist die Einstellung zu allen Zeiten des Jahres wirklich großartig!

Dieses gemütliches Wochenende ist ein "umweltfreundlicher", Selbstverpflegung Strandhaus mit dem Meer, nur wenige Meter entfernt. Es ist ein idealer Ort, wo man sich entspannen und genießen Sie die vielen Outdoor-Aktivitäten dieser schönen Gegend zu bieten hat können. A Treasure by the Sea

If you love the sound of waves, the gentle roaring of sea lions, amazing hikes within easy driving distance and a wonderful couple of hosts,then this beautifully laid out cottage by the sea is for you!! I know we are looking forward to making this an annual holiday for us..it was wonderful.

Beautiful and serene

Absolutely stunning location, cottage very well-outfitted, easy driving distance to Powell River and great walking and hiking. Lots of cormorants, mergansers, bald eagles, loons and grebes, not to mention harbor seals and barking sea lions. Hosts were awesome. We hope to come back!

Delightful place to stay.

The best, host set the fire each night, carried our luggage, answered any questions we had. It was very clean and the setting was the best. We were entrained by sea lions, seals, otters and loons

Wonderful winter getaway

Incredible ocean side location in a quaint lovely cottage. Incredible views and lovely wood burning fireplace to keep the place cozy. Pro tip, give the hosts your arrival eta so they can warm the place up for arrival. Place had everything you need and a good base to explore Powell River.

Coziest Beach Cabin

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin. The views were stunning and the cabin was so beautifully decorated and made for such a relaxing experience. The hosts were fantastic and very helpful. The area is very private and beautiful with a peaceful setting. Absolutely loved our stay here.

Beautiful property with lovely hosts

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was very well equipped, tastefully decorated and provided a breathtaking view! Our hosts were absolutely great and a pleasure to deal with. If you are looking for a cozy, private retreat with all the comforts of home and scenery that can't be matched I highly recommend staying here.

This place was amazing. It was better than we had hoped it would be. Relaxing, Quiet, and beautiful . Christine and Jock were top notch and full of good information when asked. It was perfect for a couples get away and even had room for the kids Our only regret is not booking it for a longer stay.

Amazing time!

Everything about our stay was excellent: swimming in the ocean, relaxing at the cottage, watching the seals and sunsets. It is a magical place. The hosts were lovely and very helpful. We've already booked our next stay.

New Years Stay

We stayed here for 5 nights over the new year. Saw humpbacks, sea lions, seals and otters from the deck. A beautiful location about 20 minutes from Powell River. Plenty of hiking trails nearby.

Lovely place!

Christine & Jock were wonderful hosts - we really appreciated the easy check-in and we were on our own quickly. The cottage is so cute, clean, well-equipped and private. The view is amazing from the cottage, deck or lower guest area. We were looking for a quiet stay to unwind and that is just what we got!

A piece of Heaven

Great relaxing stay, a little piece of heaven right on the ocean , loved that it was dog friendly . Would recommend this for a family or just an adult's get-a-way. Great location off the main Hwy close to the Sunshine Coast trail . John and Christine were excellent hosts ! See you next year !

Fantastic getaway!

My daughter and I (and her pooch) spent a fabulous long weekend at Jock and Christine’s beach house. The house itself is very comfortable, every detail for the guest’s comfort and convenience has been thought through. The property and views are second to none, so whether you curl up by the fire or go exploring you won’t be disappointed. Jock and Christine were there to greet us and had the cabin warmed up and cozy for us, and were very responsive throughout. Can’t wait to go back!

A wonderful view, and a most comfortable stay!

We've stayed in VRBO properties since 2007, and this seaside home was the best ever! Screened windows so that we could open up and enjoy the breeze all day. Heated bathroom floors convinced us to add that feature to our own house. Other upscale features which we didn't even need to use. And a chorus of sea lions on a nearby island helped us truly relax during our entire stay. We hope to be back regularly!

Perfect Oceanside Cottage

I can't say enough about this oceanside cottage. It was perfect in every way and there is nothing I would change. My husband said it should get 100 stars! Both Jock and Christine were wonderful and always available if we needed anything. The cottage itself was spotless and has everything you would need for a holiday. We even brought our 3 fur babies and they were also welcomed with open arms. We would be back every month if it wasn't a 14 hour drive! Thank you Jock and Christine and we hope to be back in the future.

Spectacular!

Stillwater Beach House is a spectacular vacation destination. Christine and Jock are wonderful, kind hosts, who are very helpful and accommodating. The beach house is right on the ocean with spectacular views and access to whatever the ocean has to offer with nature all around. The sea lions provide daily entertainment. The house is well equipped with easy access to Powell River and surrounding nature trails. Highly recommended if you are visiting the Sunshine Coast.

Idyllic spot for a peaceful getaway

This waterfront cottage is about as perfect as it gets. A stunning view, plenty of windows to take advantage of natural light and sea breezes, clean with a well-appointed kitchen, large deck to overlook the seals and sealions that live on the rocks close by, wood stove to beat the chill on cooler days. And if it were any closer to the water, it would be a boat! Secluded and private, but close enough to access the amenities of Powell River, a relaxed little town with cute shops and some good restaurants. There's also tons of trails in the area to explore. Christine and Jock are lovely hosts, very welcoming and friendly. We definitely plan to visit again in the future!

We purchased the above property with an old cabin on the beach as a getaway from the pressures of city life in Vancouver. This quiet rural area known as 'Stillwater' twenty kilometers, south of Powell River became our family's place of tranquility and restoration. When we both retired in 2001 we moved from Vancouver to commence building our retirement home. A few years later we decided to renovate the 'old cabin' and recently completed our eco-friendly 'Beach House' which we now offer for your enjoyment.
