You won't miss a thing when you stay in this centrally located, comfortable, two bedroom apartment. This gem is located right on Mainstrasse (German for Main St.), in the heart of downtown Covington complete with top restaurants, bars and boutiques. You'll have private entry and parking in a beautiful historic building, next door to a bakery.
The apartment is spacious, comfortable for solo travelers and small groups, packed with amenities, including work space, games, and deck/balcony.
The space
This apartment is on the 2nd and 3rd floor, above a quiet business on the 1st floor. While you won't hear any noise from down below, this is located right on Main St. so you will hear street sounds such as the occasional ambulance and biker passing by for a few moments with loud music. In the evenings the night life can be louder--especially on the weekend during warmer months. If you're a night owl or plan to be out on the town anyway, this location is perfect for you! If you want to hit the hay early on a weekend night, we have provided sound makers and ear plugs for you if you are sensitive to sound.
From the living room you'll have a view right out onto Main St. Most of the rooms are bright with vaulted ceilings and large windows. Blackout curtains are hung in both bedrooms. External stairs lead up to your private coded entry. You'll also receive a key upon entry for a second door.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire second and third floor of this historic building. Small private deck at the back of the building included. Laundry is only available to guests staying 5+ nights and must be requested before arrival. It is in a shared space and only accessible after 8 pm or on Sundays.
There is an internal staircase that should not be used to access the first floor as it leads to business offices. Please only use the provided outside staircase and private entry. Do not use the business entrance to access or exit your upstairs apartment.
Other things to note
Client meetings are ongoing downstairs from 8 am- 8 pm M-TR and Sat. 8 am - 3 pm in the offices below. Please refrain from very loud music, TV and noises during these times.
Pet owners: there is no immediate grass area around the house, so you'll need to take pets on a short walk to relieve themselves. It's only half a block to a grassy area right on the beautiful 6th St. promenade. **Please keep pets off sofa, beds and rugs or additional cleaning fees will be assessed for pet hair removal.
The fireplace pictured in the living room is inoperable. Please do not try to start a fire in it.
NO SMOKING of any kind, including vaping, is allowed inside the premise. Outside on the balcony is fine.
