Good location and neighborhood, some disappointments
Our stay was comfortable and the house provided what we needed for 3 nights. Unfortunately I feel the listing and the photos of the home were a bit misleading.
1. The back yard needed attention. Leaves and weeds everywhere, standing water and mud from leaky sprinkler head, dog run next to patio had 6 deflated, dirty and obviously unusable pool floaties in a pile on the ground and a broken table was leaning next to the house.
2. The advertised and beautifully photographed fire pit was rusted and had a big hole in the bottom. It was completely unusable. My grandkids were disappointed that we couldn’t roast marshmallows.
3. There is was a lovely covered pergola in the photographs however the cover was missing so there was no shade to be had.
4. Of the 3 pool chaise lounges we tried to use 2 were broken. A broken back on one and the other had a broken leg.
5. The patio furniture just outside the sliding glass door would have been nice to use except the cushions were missing. We had to sit on the string webbing. Not comfortable.
6. The rug on the patio has seen better days. It was frayed and very dirty.
7. The upstairs hall bath has mold growing in the tile grout around the faucet and the tiles are popping off the wall as well. Obviously water is leaking behind the wall. The shower curtain liner was also grimy and had orange mildew/algae growing on it.
Could be lovely a place again if these issues were addressed.
