Peaceful few days away

Kingfisher cottage as character and charm. Beautifully situated between fields of green . It as plenty of space , a well equipped kitchen and the use of a separate freezer and washing machine. It as an enclosed courtyard that is home to so many birds . Helen and Richard were so friendly . They made you feel so welcome .We would definitely recommend and will be returning . Perfect!!!

It was our first time staying at kingfisher cottage. It wont be our last! It had everything we needed and it was much more spacious than the photos depicted. Very peaceful, quiet and safe. Our 3 children loved playing in the courtyard andour doggo loved it too!

Beautiful Stay in the Countryside

This was a beautiful location in the countryside with access to sit near the river. The space was quaint and clean. The shower had amazing water pressure and was the perfect temperature. The location had everything we needed for a family with small children. The on site laundry facilities were extremely helpful. The host was very kind and available as needed.

The delightful courtyard

This is a farm property, quite in the middle of no where, but it has a lovely large courtyard, in fact the accommodation is comprised from the old animal barns. The courtyard made of old red brick provides endless joy watching the house martins and swallows whizzing about. Its an interesting area with plenty to do.

Lovley cottage with all amenities. Great courtyard for our dogs to explore. Little out the way but we didnt mind the driving. Good hosts and communication. Would reccomend.

Stay on the farm

Been visiting the area for many years. Fancied a different place to stay and decided to try Sparrow Hall. It is a nice quiet location. The accommodation was cosy and warm with everything we needed in the property. Will visit again.

Really enjoyed my stay. Helen was really helpful, the cottage was lovely and warm and I had everything I needed. The little courtyard that it is in makes it quiet and private. Though its off the beaten track, its really easy to access Pickering and the beautiful village of Helmsley. A great base. Definately be back!

Great stay at great price.

The cottage was in a excellent location. Close to both Helmsley and Pickering. Greated by Helen and Richard, both of who were friendly and welcoming. Accommodation was comfortable with everything we needed. They couldnt be beaten on price. Hidden gem, will be back.

Fantastic stay yet again

Our 3rd stay here this year. We absolute love it. Just such a relaxing tranquil place. So good to be away from all the hustle and bustle of busy city living. Overall a warm, cozy, quiet holiday home. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Lovely powerful shower. Very comfy beds. If there was a downside it was the tv (the sound was very tinny). Will certainly consider staying again.
