Diese schöne, neu renovierte Wohnung befindet sich im 12. Stock von Playa Azul, Gebäude Nr. 1, von wo aus Sie die 3 Gebäude des Komplexes Playa Azul bestens bewundern können. In der Wohnung bieten neue, deckenhohe Fenster eine kühle Meeresbrise und eine atemberaubende Aussicht. Deckenventilatoren und Luftverhältnisse sorgen für eine gute Belüftung der Wohnung.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Zwei klimatisierte Zimmer mit Blick auf das Meer, jedes mit eigenem Bad und begehbarem Kleiderschrank. (Eines verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett und Französisch Türen zum Balkon; das andere hat 2 Queensize-Betten und einen spektakulären Blick auf das Meer). Eine voll ausgestattete Küche verfügt über einen Geschirrspüler, eine Mikrowelle, einen Herd und eine Waschmaschine / Trockner. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über einen 40-Zoll-Flachbild-Smart-TV mit Kabel- und WLAN-Internetverbindung.

Zu den Annehmlichkeiten auf dem Gelände gehören: Privater Parkplatz, ein Schwimmbad, Tennis- und Basketballplätze und ein Kinderspielplatz. Es gibt einen 24-Stunden-Sicherheitsdienst an der Eingangstür und in der Lobby. Supermarkt, Apotheke und Bank mit Geldautomaten sind zu Fuß erreichbar oder eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt.

Playa Azul Beach liegt vor Gebäude # 1 und ist hübsch und nicht überfüllt. Es gibt jedoch keine Rettungsschwimmer und die Strömungen können manchmal stark sein. Beachten Sie unbedingt die Farbmarkierungswarnungen, da manchmal starke Strömungen auftreten können. Liegestühle und Strandtücher stehen Ihnen in der Wohnung zur Verfügung. Wenn Sie lieber einen Strand mit ruhigerem Wasser, Annehmlichkeiten, Parkplätze und Rettungsschwimmer im Dienst haben, ist der berühmte Strand von Balneario La Monserrate - Luquillo nur 2 Fahrminuten von Playa Azul entfernt. In drei Minuten erreichen Sie die berühmten "Kioskos von Luquillo", wo Sie die gute, authentische lokale Küche genießen können. Ansonsten können Sie eine größere Entfernung zu gehobenen Restaurants in Fajardo oder in Richtung San Juan fahren.

Die Wohnung hat ein Gästebuch mit Anregungen, wo man essen und Aktivitäten in der Gegend. Sie können schöne Wasserfälle oder Seilbahnen im Regenwald wandern, einen Schnorchelausflug buchen, in der biolumineszierenden Bucht Kajak fahren, in Fajardo tauchen, Jet-Skis am Strand von Luquillo mieten, reiten oder Gokarts bei Hacienda Caraballi fahren Im Casino eines nahegelegenen Resort-Hotels können Sie Tagesausflüge nach Old San Juan, Ponce, Arecibo oder zu den Camuy Caves unternehmen.

Nice accommodations

The apartment is within walking distance to many delicious restaurants and a nice calm beach is 1/2 mile drive. Home is stocked with spices, laundry detergent and beach gear. The neighbor down the hall makes delicious rum cakes and has the sweetest pup, Pupido who will great you when you come home. Overall nice comfortable stay. Thank you!

Excellent property and great location

My husband and I had a terrific stay at this beach property. The view is absolutely incredible. You will get a divine ocean breeze in every room and the sound of the waves will lull you to sleep each night. Being on a high floor, there were virtually zero bugs up that high - I saw maybe one mosquito. Property was very clean and comfortable. Wifi was fast. Nice appliances in the kitchen though we didn't do much cooking haha! Many great restaurants within walking distance and a grocery store and pharmacy across the main road. You can go from the apartment to the beach in about 3 minutes. Property includes 4 beach chairs, an umbrella, some coolers and some floaties. If you get tired of the beach, the pool is huge and very clean. We plan on coming back next year!

This is a beautiful, well maintained condo within steps of a lovely beach. There are several restaurants and a great convenience store within an 1/2 mile walk. The owner and property manager are attentive and very kind.

Owner thought of everything

We enjoyed our stay - the owner thought of everything, from placements to beach chairs to well thought-out comments and guides! Super clean and tasteful decor. The only problems we had was loud construction above our unit in early mornings but we were given a partial refund, so that would a nice gesture for the disturbance.

Our first visit to Puerto Rico. This was a great condo to stay at. The location was great for getting to activities. The condo is clean and very comfortable and What Views! You won't beat the views and only hearing waves is relaxing. We never closed the windows. Great Stay!

PERFECT STAY

My husband and I just celebrated our 30th wedding Anniversary. We spent a lot of time researching rentals. We might add that we stay in many rentals while vacationing. This one was PERFECT in every way. We loved the amenities, the location, the views. Bonnie and Pupido made our stay amazing. She brought us rum cakes. Made helpful suggestions on restaurants. She even invited us to see the Christmas lights in San Juan with her. Pupido greeted us daily and helped us not to miss our dogs as much. We will DEFINITELY return to this location.

Great stay again

This was our 2nd time here, and this time we brought our moms. Bonus this time: the kitchen was updated, with new cabinets and appliances (including full stove & oven, which has an air fryer, perfect for toasting up fried delicacies from the nearby kiosks). The views and island breezes can't be beat.

Lovely Stay

The condo was as listed. It's beautiful and had plenty of space for 4 of us. It is located within easy access to many restaurants, stores and beaches. We rented a car and had an easy drive to the port and many gorgeous beaches. The views from the apartment are beautiful and the property itself was very nice and well kept. We had all we needed to prepare a meal. There was a grocery store across the road and it was nice to have a washer and dryer.. we had everything we needed. I loved the condo, and highly recommend it.

Girls’ 40th birthday trip

We had a wonderful stay at the Playa Azul I condo! The condo was even better than the pictures in the listing, as the kitchen has been completely remodeled with new cabinets and all new appliances. The A/C in the bedrooms worked perfectly, the beds were comfortable and we had plenty of hot water. The cross-breeze through the unit was lovely. You can’t beat the views of the ocean and beach! We also really appreciated that there were beach towels, beach chairs and a cooler that we could use. We enjoyed the proximity to El Yunque and Fajardo, and all agreed we picked the perfect place. We would absolutely recommend this unit to anyone considering a trip to Puerto Rico!

We had an incredible experience at this property! View was unbeatable and the area was easily accessible to many great beaches and restaurants. Be sure to eat at La Fonda. Best restaurant we had all week. Bonnie the neighbor was kind and welcoming with her sweet pup Pepido and delicious rum cakes. We loved our time here!

Great property and location, but issues with the TV and communication with Property Manager

The view is beautiful and the issues we had were probably unique to our stay, but there are two main complaints: We followed the directions carefully, but the TV would not turn on. I brought this up to the property manager (“PM”) the second day of our six-day stay. . .PM responded the next day asking if I followed the directions and offered to come by and look at it; I responded that we were at the apartment for the next hour or so and asking her to come by and check out the TV, we didn’t hear from her until she provided checkout instructions (3 days later). We don't watch much TV, but it would have been nice to let the three little ones watch some cartoons so we could sleep in on Tuesday, Weds., or Thursday of our vacation. We did however get an email on our third day saying that the building would be pressure washed and painted during our stay and the PM asked us to “keep balcony windows close and the balcony chairs inside". I responded that I would try and keep the windows closed and chairs inside, but don’t feel like this should have been something I should have had to worry about/deal with—this should have been communicated to us sooner, considering we paid full price for our stay and the balcony is the main feature of the apartment. We loved our vacation to Puerto Rico but will probably look for a different place to stay next time since the PM did nothing to reconcile the situation.

Beautiful views!!

My family and I had the best experience in Puerto Rico. The condo was just as described. Check in exactly as it said and easy, clean, beach supplies. Location for us was perfect. Close to San Juan, rain forest, bioluminescent bay, and Las Playlas. All things we wanted to experience there and could have used 2weeks instead of 1. Condo had an entire binder of things nearby that was helpful. We ended up there in a tropical storm which was a bit scary, our flights were canceled and owners were so nice to accommodate us for 2 extra nights. Property manager responded to any questions promptly. Made sure we knew what to do and were safe. Power was out for two days and no elevator for a day but we can deal with that and we’re just glad everyone was safe. We were greeted by the neighbor Bonnie and her dog papido. She is the rum cake lady that has delicious cakes. She gave us all kinds of information and even helped us book the bio bay excursion. We are from the south and felt southern hospitality for sure. We traveled with 3 16y/o and a 21 y/o and everyone in our family had a great stay. Felt safe and property is gated. Would go back.

What a View

The first thing you notice as you enter the apartment is the view it has, with a perfect vantage point of the beautiful ocean and the beach. The apartment is clean, fully equipped and well furnished. Everything that was described was there. It exceded expectations as most things in the apartment are very well kept or brand new. There is an excellent cross ventilation constantly flowing through and the soothing sounds of the waves creates the perfect environment for relaxation. Winnie the manager was extremely helpful, with prompt responses to your inquiries either by text or a direct phone conversation. She provided excellent customer service. We look forward to come back to Playa Azul 1 in the future and enjoy another great stay at this apartment. There is an added bonus to your stay here, down the hall you are going to meet Bonnie a friendly and wonderful neighbor that makes the most delicious rum cakes and banana bread. Her contact information is right on the apartment fridge, give her a call or just say hello when you see her, and you might even get a hug from her dog puppyto. This place was so nice that at the end of your stay you are going to wish you could have stayed longer.

Wonderful place to stay!

The condo was beautiful and very comfortable. We were thankful for AC in the bedrooms since we come from a region with cool nights even in summer. The property felt very safe but with easy access to the beach. The location was very central for the things we wanted to do. The notebook prepared by the host was extremely helpful! Family Vacation to Puerto Rico

This was our first time visiting Puerto Rico. We are a family of 6 with kids ranging from 8-15. The condo was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. There was air conditioning in the bedrooms and then you would open the bank door and front slats for the cross breeze. Winnie the property manager was super helpful. We were close to El Yunque Rainforest, Old San Juan, and so many other sights! We would definitely stay here again with the beautiful ocean view and out also had a great pool! Thank you for making our first trip to Puerto Rico so lovely!

Clean and well maintained 2 bedroom with unobstructed views of the Atlantic. We enjoyed just sitting on the balcony or walking on the beach. Beena was very responsive and easy to reach. Fully equipped with modern appliances and close to food store. We enjoyed our stay in this quiet home.

We can't wait to return!

We just returned from 7 nights at Playa Azul and loved every minute of our stay there. The apartment itself was clean, well maintained (brand new kitchen) and provided all that we needed to enjoy the beautiful beach that it overlooks. What a spectacular view! Check-in was easy and the entire property is secure with easy parking. And yes, the rum cakes down the hall are delicious and the baker friendly with a wealth of helpful local knowledge to share:) It was very hard to leave this beautiful place and we will definitely be back!

We have been coming to Playa Azul since 1998 for family vacations. We did not want a resort atmosphere and chose Playa Azul because it is a quaint, low key beach village with nice beaches.

It is very accessible to nearby points of interests, such as The Rainforest and various activities in Fajardo, including the Bioluminescent Bay.

It is within a reasonable driving distance to the airport and San Juan. (40 min.)

It is within walking distance to the beach.

Luquillo is a quaint and tranquil little seaside town, uniquely located 30 min. from San Juan International Airport, 10 minutes to El Yunque Rainforest and 10 minutes from Fajardo.

There is a most beautiful walk on the beach, between Playa Azul and Balneario Monserat Luquillo Beach.
