-This pool is heated by a heat pump, meaning that it can only get to a certain warmth, NEVER HOT. If the air temp outside is above 50 degrees, the pool MAY heat UP TO 20 degrees warmer. We CANNOT guarantee a temp for the pool, as it is affected by the outside air temp. MOST DAYS, even in the winter, with the outside temp reaching ABOVE 60 degrees, the pool should heat up to ABOUT 84 degrees. PLEASE understand that even on the highest setting, it will NEVER FEEL LIKE A TUB. PLEASE DO NOT ADJUST THE THERMOSTAT.
- Port Aransas is constantly evolving with ongoing construction, building projects, and community improvements. While we can't guarantee a completely quiet stay, these efforts help make the area even better for residents and visitors alike. Keep in mind that island life comes with seasonal pests like mosquitoes. To help keep them at bay, our properties receive professional pest control treatments every month. Please be aware that because Port Aransas is a unique coastal community, cable and Wi-Fi connectivity might be unpredictable. Thank you for acknowledging that we have no control over these services. Service interruptions will not qualify for any discounts or reimbursements.

GUEST VERIFICATION:
To ensure a smooth and secure stay, we require the primary guest listed on the reservation to complete a simple screening process within 48 hours of booking confirmation. Please note that your reservation is not confirmed until these steps are completed.

Once verified, and prior to check-in, guests will be asked to sign a Rental Agreement that includes:
- Agreeing to our rental terms and conditions.
- Providing a valid government-issued ID and a matching credit card before check-in.
- Paying a non-refundable $50 damage waiver. The damage waiver provides coverage for accidental damage during your stay, as long as it is reported prior to your check-out.

The damage waiver covers accidental damage that may occur during your stay. To ensure coverage, all damage must be reported promptly while you’re still at the property. We understand there is normal wear and tear at houses but should anything accidentally break or get stained during your stay please just let us know. Thank you!

Family Fun!

We love Port A and Highway 9 is great for families and so close to the beach! I have two teenage girls and they loved the pool and being able to take the cart back and forth to the beach! We have stayed at this location for several years now and it never disappoints! The owners are super responsive and happy to help with any issues. We will be staying here again...probably next year at the same time :)

Perfect little paradise

Loved the condo and the little pool was perfect for the kids after the beach to chill in all night, while shaded to keep them out of the sun. It was so close to the beach and all the restaurants and shops we just used a golf cart to get around. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great Location

We enjoyed this house. The pool was small (as pictures show), but the kids still had plenty of fun in it after being on the beach all day. The location was great, right in between downtown Port A and our favorite beach access point. We’d book it again.

Cute, clean house close to beach. There is no beach view or any view period. We had a great time! Parking was a little tight, but we were able to make it work. Definitely bring your own spices. Perfect house for a small family.

Anniversary trip

Address in VRBO was incorrect unless you clicked on specific driving instructions. Had trouble locating the unit, called the VRBO hotline and they didn’t call back till the next morning. Was told there was a propane grill but there was a charcoal grill. House was nice and clean and had everything that we needed. Pool was great!

Perfect House For Our Group Of 7

We visit Port A every summer and typically rent a house. We had 3 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 kids. We did 5 days/4 nights on this trip. This house was perfect. The AC was great, kitchen fully stocked, beds comfortable, and showers were wonderful. And the little pool and downstairs patio area were great, perfect way to decompress after a long day at the beach. The outdoor shower came in handy. We have a large SUV and Tundra and while a bit tight, the parking situation was totally manageable. The Wi-Fi was solid which was important since I did a little work while on this trip. We highly recommend this house as it has everything you need, is clean and modern, and is in the perfect location off Eleventh St near Ave G and the beach. Only small recommendation is it would be nice if there was a full length mirror in the house. We have all girls and it would have come in handy when getting ready for the evening activities.

Great Place!

Very clean property! Walk to the closest beach access was .33 miles, according to my watch when I walked it, and took around 6 minutes at a normal pace. I’m stating this because I didn’t find a review with this detail and close proximity was important to me. The check in and out process was very simple. The small pool and patio area was perfect for just two of us. Sand was in small piles in the pool but that’s to be expected with the winds and the location. Still clean aside from that. The property is off of 11th so it’s easy access to anything you could need, but it’s tucked away so the entrance is still private and quiet which was a really nice surprise! Think “cul de sac”. As mentioned in the description, the basics are provided but you definitely need to bring your own pool/beach towels, foods, condiments, sunscreen, etc. The house itself is very cute and cozy- smaller than expected based on photos (the angles or zoom just made it look a little more spacious) but still an adorable place. Mattress was a little hard, but not to the point of no rest. Take extra bedding if you need extra padding. Overall, we loved our stay and would recommend Hwy9 to anyone!

Great location!

The location was perfect! Less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and super close to all the fun stuff the island has to offer. The house was pretty clean. Small, but had everything you need. Kitchen is well stocked with basics but take seasonings. My biggest issue, and it wasn't so big of an issue that I wouldn't go back just think others would like to know, was the proximity to the other houses and the parking situation. There were 10 units that were very packed together. The family next to us stayed up late one night in their pool, which was right below one of the bedrooms of our place, making it difficult to sleep. Some earplugs or headphones are necessary if you're a light sleeper. Also, the tight fit made parking difficult. Our unit was supposed to have 3 parking spots- 2 regular cars, 1 golf cart. We had an SUV and a truck, which we had to park one behind the other, meaning 1 hung out a bit. The units across were so close it was difficult to back out, especially if that unit had a car hanging out a bit. If we'd had 2 longer vehicles, we wouldn't have fit and would have to go to over flow parking about 50 feet away near the dumpster. Since many people have large trucks, keep this in mind. All in all, it was a good condo with an amazing location!
