Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Modern and Chic House in the heart of Duluth, Full Kitchen on Main Floor and Kitchenette in Basement, the best restaurant and baker shop just in the couple blocks away. Lincoln Park just next to the house. Very Clean and cozy with free Parking. Family oriented neighborhood which we also made friends with them( In weekend, the next door neighbors may share food and drink with you if they have party in yard^_^).

Nice place

A clean, tidy property. We booked it for an mtb trip. However, it did not have a garage or other bike storage area so we had to carry our bikes up a flight of stairs in order to store them indoors for the night.

Weekend in Duluth

Displeased. House and location was not bad, floors were a little dirty and felt well used but overall great for what we needed. Where I became displeased was with communication with the host and the fact that because the house is for sale there were showing scheduled during my booked time. To start, I did not get the address for the home or the entry information until an hour after my check in time. When we showed up there was a showing happening and the realtor said she had it booked till 6:00. I messaged the host with no reply. The next day we were out of the house at a volleyball tournament and came home to a new realtor card left on the kitchen table, meaning they were there while we were away that day. This is upsetting to know all of our stuff was there, suppose to be locked up safe, while strangers walked through the house. Again messaged the host with a message not for hours later. I called the realtors as well to make sure no other bookings were scheduled with no answer or return of call. There was also no check out instructions.

In town for dance competition

The location was perfect for us. We were super close to the DECC where the kids had dance. We had two families of 4 and we had plenty of space and privacy. Close to food and other necessities as well fun things to do with our free time!

Duluth Getaway

OUR Host was great at communicating. The house was easy to find and was in a great location. 5 minutes from Canal Park and a short walk to the Duluth Grill, one of our favorites.

Hockey weekend

We were in town for a weekend of hockey. There was plenty of room for all of us and it was great to be able to gather in the living room yet have your own space. We would stay here again!!

Comfortable, clean and classy!

Very clean 4 bedroom unit. Clean, well appointed and supplied, tastefully decorated and comfortable beds. Would stay here again. Very close to the area on Superior Street with breweries and distilleries.

Everything I needed

Was a great place with all the necessities. Plenty of space to spread out and be comfortable. Loved the simple decor! Was close to everywhere I wanted to go without being located in the middle of the chaos. Would absolutely stay here again on my next trip

Everything about our stay was excellent! Communication was timely and friendly. The house was clean and had everything our party of 8 needed. The check in a d check out process was so easy! We would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Perfect for what we needed

Overall the property was just what we needed: individual bedrooms for a group of couples and centralized locations. Furniture is different than pictured in the listing. Also the bath towels/wash clothes are extremely low quality and we could have used a few more. Great space for groups.

Nice place

Overall was a good experience. Inside was clean and taken care of. Outside could use some landscaping work and cleaning up. Neighborhood was a little sketchy but overall felt safe. Would recommend and reasonably priced.

Location is nice; but overpriced.

A bit overpriced for the small size of the home, but the location is close to the things we wanted to do in and around the Duluth area. Good things: Quiet neighborhood. Off street parking. Updated home. Comfy beds & bedding. Complaints: Many broken and dirty items throughout the home. No dishwasher. Spiderwebs in the kitchen, dust on the window shades, mold in both bathrooms, broken TP holder hanging off the drywall, etc. Likely the owner of the unite sends a cleaning company there before / after each stay but hasn’t seen it in person in a while.

BEWARE

The host called 2 hours before check-in and told us she had double-booked the rental and we could no longer stay there. She was hardly apologetic, blamed VRBO and claimed she didn't know how it happened. She then offered us a different property, but said we would need to check out after the first night and stay at the original property the second night. Pretty inconvenient for a family with a young child. Every hotel around was booked. She wouldn't stop saying the new property was "bigger and better" like we were lucky and she was helping us out, instead of actually creating a lot of stress and ruining our vacation. After checking into the second property because we literally had no other choice, we noticed there was a musty smell throughout the house, definitely mold somewhere. The floors in every room were sticky. Shortly after getting there we heard shots outside and realized there was a young child next door SHOOTING OFF A BB GUN at the house. His parents were around too, and as we went in and out of the house during our stay one would be sitting on the porch in their pajamas, disheveled, talking loudly on speakerphone, giving us creepy stares like they had no idea it was a VRBO rental. At 10pm the first night we heard loud cracking sounds from the back of the house, only to find more feral children throwing huge slabs of concrete at things on the ground, sometimes hitting the back of the house, waking up my sleeping child. Absolutely unacceptable. Don't book here.
