Good area, but fell short of expectations.
This is in a good neighborhood and has a fenced back yard with an inflatable hot tub, which was fun. We were also allowed access to the garage, which was appreciated. However, we won’t be staying at one of these properties again because of several issues that we dealt with during our stay. Late morning on the day of our arrival we we told that check in is actually 5 pm not 4 pm as stated in the listing. Because we were already on the road, we were forced to kill an hour with kids and dogs nearby at the last minute, which wasn’t appreciated and caused frustration. There were numerous small things that I have let the managing company know need addressing, such as no dressers or closet access (only the closet in the master is accessible, all others are locked or blocked) only one towel per guest being supplied for a multiple night stay, and none for the hot tub, no towel racks or hooks to hang anything, no toilet paper holders, missing drain plugs, no cleaning supplies, safety concerns, and inadequate cooking supplies. The decor and finishings also needed some attention, as it is an obvious DIY flip with lack of attention to details and safety. We had to go to the store immediately to get supplies, had to pile clothing and towels in the floor, and there was just a general feel of lack of care for guests that left us unsatisfied. That being said, we did enjoy the potential of the house and hope that the company who are running the house take our criticism to heart and make the changes we suggested in my more detailed private message. This wasn’t a bad place to stay, just not what we were expecting. It was in a safe neighbor hood in a good location, clean, and had fun activities for the kids. With a few changes it could be an awesome rental home.
