Come relax & enjoy The Retreat at DTW! Just minutes away from Historic Downtown Willoughby where you can shop, dine & stroll the streets at your leisure. This completely renovated single family ranch home has so much to offer. Including all kitchen appliances, washer & dryer, all necessities (kitchenware, towels, sheets, etc.) & playing cards plus board games for your pleasure. The bedroom has a king bed & living room has a sofa bed. Enjoy the reading nook on the 2nd level loft area & backyard.

The space:

Completely remodeled! You will love the fully furnished space that offers so much during your stay of relaxation. Read your favorite book in the reading nook, known as the Treehouse; have your drink of choice on the back patio overlooking the quiet & large backyard; Watch your favorite Netflix, Disney Plus or Hulu Plus show in bed or Living Room couch. This is your time to relax at the Retreat!

Home Sweet Home

My husband and I were in Willoughby, at the Retreat at DTW, for 9 nights. It was a perfect place to come "home" to after some long days. The neighborhood is nice and Lisa's house is so cute!

Weekend getaway

Easy to access from expressway tucked away in a quiet, safe neighborhood that is close to nightlife. The home is cozy, modern and very clean with a lake life feel. The home owner was prompt to reply when contacted. We plan on staying at this beautiful home in the near future!

Comfortable Stay

Lovely home. Easy access. 0.8 miles to downtown. Large downstairs bedroom. Loft off of living room with twin bed, accessible by stairs and has low overhead and perfect for kids but i am a 69 old 5’10 female with slightly bad knees and i actually became quite accustomed to my little treehouse haven! I think im going to miss it! Nice kitchen and outdoor space. I would rent again!!!

Great small getaway

We just loved the house and its proximity to things in town. Well kept and super comfortable bed. Steep steps to basement and loft have to make you careful. Lisa was very accommodating.

Fall at DTW

We had a wonderful time visiting our daughter and exploring the area and much of that is due to our great stay at this DTW vacation rental. Perfect Stay with Great Amenities and Fantastic Location

I had an excellent stay at this property! The house was spotless, exactly as described, and just like the photos—no surprises! It had all the amenities I could have asked for, making the stay incredibly comfortable. The host was very kind and attentive, checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. The location was also ideal, just a short drive from downtown, which made exploring the area easy and convenient. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Awesome location. Clean & updated property perfect for pair of >65 folks or small family w young kids. This little home is so cozy and cute!! Neighborhood is charming. The decor is amazing, and it was extremely clean! I am a clean freak…so that is very important to me. I did not have to clean at all when we first arrived (besides spraying the remote, door knobs, sink and shower handles, and wiping toilet seats with Lysol wipes). I do that wherever I travel and stay ! Lisa is THE most responsive owner that I have dealt with. I would text or message her and she got back to me within an hour every time!! Would definitely stay again. Only drawback is had a bit of a drive to access a local beach.

Lovely Home

This home was perfect for my husband and I. It was clean. The kitchen was fully functional which was important because he was working remote from the home and I was recovering from surgery from a month ago and helping my son with last minute wedding preparations. Therefore we was there a lot and I enjoy cooking. The neighborhood was super quiet and we took short walks everyday, sometimes several times a day to regain my strength. There was lots of games and puzzles. The soaking tub was amazing! There were lots of restraunts in the area if you chose to eat out. The host was very kind and easy to communicate with, she always got back with any questions promptly. It was everything you would want in a home away from a home!
