We have stayed at many different places in Kingston plantation in the last decade and have had very good experiences in the past, but this was my final time ever staying at South Hampton.
We encountered several issues during our stay here. Multiple door key malfunctions were a huge inconvenience and aggravation. The living room tv did not display anything other than "please wait" though we could hear the audio playing in the background. It would display what was actually on the channel on the upper right corner if we pulled up guide, but once we tried full screen, it never would display. This was after many failed attempts to fix the TV (thinking we weren't working it properly). We discovered and replace the very much corodded batteries, and still, the same problem. On the last day of our trip, they did fix the TV issue, which really was the least of my concerns.
There was only 1 roll of toilet paper in the entire condo, as well as only one trash bag. Given our stay of 5 days, this seemed to be incredibly inconsiderate.
We also killed lots of cockroaches the size of my dog. My husband and I are were unable to even sleep in the bedroom the last 2 nights as the smell of marijuana would knock you down. Being pregnant and having 2 other small children in the condo, it was nearly impossible to escape the smell (even while swimming at the pool). Given the amount of money we paid to stay here, it's ridiculous the we were not even able to sleep in the bedrooms.
Never again!
