Bluebonnet By The Sea is a privately owned and professionally managed condo at the Maravilla resort complex which boasts 3 pools (one of them being heated in the off-season), a hot tub, fitness room, outdoor play areas and more!

The condo is equipped with an accessible balcony overlooking the resort-style pool, king-sized bed in the bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, two twin-sized bunks built into the hallway, and a comfortably furnished living room including a full sleeper sofa.

ALL PMI Galveston Bay Rentals are Non-Smoking properties. The minimum age to book this property is 25.

Great family vacation

We had the best family vacation here! The most important thing was this unit stayed super cool the whole time! There was plenty of room for all of us and the beds were comfortable. It was super quiet and you cannot hear your neighbors. The pools were nice and clean and so was the property Close to the beach and restaurants! We definitely recommend this to Families that want A great property to stay in!!

Convenient

Office was closed when arrived, had to scan QR code for parking. Next morning had a parking warning on windshield prior to office opening. Nice place, but too many rules plus found out after arriving sound meter to make sure quiet time? Overall was ok for our visit because convenient to MD Anderson.

No it what was expected

The property is not the best location unless you are looking to be away from the better beaches. The listing said 2 bathrooms but there is only 1, although it is good size and nice , with plenty of towels. The room is a lot smaller than expected, not a chance you could have 6 people in there. It was very neat and the laundry units on the premises were good. It said it had seating on the balcony but of the 2 plastic chairs only 1 was usable, the other was broken. Not bad but until some things get fixed and the listing is more accurate, there are better choices for sure, and you cannot get in touch with anyone after office hours.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Room was clean. The main pool was big enough accommodate a lot of people and it was clean. Elevator were a little sketchy, but they worked. Overall no issues. Would definitely go back.

A great time

We enjoyed our stay and Bluebonnet by the Sea. The room was so soothing and relaxing and had everything we could ever. The elevator needs some work and quite scary everytime we were on it and at the end it made so much noise i thought it was going to breakdown while we were in it. I would go back.

Outstanding place to be

Loved the location, the multiple pools, the gym could use some work and free weights. Pool was maintained and always looked clean. Thank you all for the great memories.

Love The Blue Bonnet

Great property - we have rented many condos at Maravala over the last 10 years - this is one of the nicest! Towels, bed, cleanliness, supplies, all outstanding. There is no icemaker so I recommend, if you are like us and take our Yeti everywhere we go, bring some extra ice trays. The three there were not enough for us to fill up yetis and cooler for pool each day.

Mini getaway

Stayed here with my mom, son and my French Bulldog. Condo was very clean, had everything we needed. Beautiful balcony views of the pool and the sea. Front desk receptionist was very efficient, warm and friendly. Parking was simple. The pool was very clean and the water was a beautiful blue. Pool hours are great too gives you a chance to go late. Perfect property location to get around Galveston. Condo is perfect for 3 people but could technically accomodate 6 if needed. Would definitely stay again and have already sent the link to others. Thx for a great stay🙂 look forward to returning

Home Away From Home

We had an amazing stay! The condo was beautifully decorated. The kitchen well stocked. The view from the balcony was so relaxing sitting looking at the pool and the Gulf. The manager was so pleasant. We spoke with Michelle a few times and she was so helpful. We even had to call her at 3 am because the electricity went out!! And she answered right away and let us know that the area was without power and it was nothing in the unit - it was back on in a few hrs. I loved how pet friendly the property was! It was a great stay at our Home Away From Home!

Can’t wait to stay again!!

My family and I had such a great time in Galveston and this condo was amazing. Everything was so easy from start to finish. We were given instructions on check in and check out, and the pictures on the site were exactly what we got and even a few extras. We enjoyed the pools in the complex and we had some much needed family time. We will definitely be renting this condo again if it is available. Thanks.

Not bad for a Vacation close to home.!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Galveston July 2021. Our condo was clean, cozy, small but served the purpose, functional and it has a nice view. The main bed was surprisingly very comfortable. (I was able to get some much needed rest.) Definitely recommend for a married couple with 2-3kids. If it were 2 adult couples the sleeping arrangements would less than ideal (considering the bunk style sleeping setup for two of the twin size beds.) Communication with Management & Maintenance was excellent. They are courteous and definitely handle things swiftly. The only negative thing I will mention is the Smart Thermostat feature. Which allows the owner to control the temperature of the condo, and his/her set temp is 78 degrees. Luckily Maintenance was able to help. Small inconvenience but because of maint prompt response, I didn't see any reason to be upset. I would stay again, but with one caveat, I would have to get the thermostat thing worked out in advance.

Bluebonnet By The Sea

Room was very nice, clean, freshly painted, nice big television in the living room, balcony was very nice facing west-we got the most amazing sunset pictures! The elevator was a bit “iffy”-but it held up all week thank goodness bc it was the only one working out of the three on the property. Pool was so beautiful and sparkling water, cleaned each morning. It was a nice home for a week and we would recommend Bluebonnet By The Sea to our friends. The only complaint was for 2 days, about 4-6 hours, the complex didn’t have running water.

Perfect for a Family Vacation

This was our first time using VRBO, but will not be our last. Bluebonnet was the perfect fit for our family. The view from our balcony gave us sightlines of the poll and gulf. The fully stocked kitchen allowed us to cook most of our meals there. Maravilla sits just on the outside of the mass of rentals, hotels, shops, and tourists, so it almost felt like we were on a different island. We're already talking about future trips to Galveston and plan to check on the availability of Bluebonnet.
