Secluded Log Cabin and Guest House Close to Mackinaw City!

Two homes...the log cabin is 1800 sq.ft. and includes 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The cottage is 1000 sq.ft. and offers 2 bedrooms and a bath and a half. Both have their own kitchen and laundry for larger groups to get together for a unique vacation in Northern Michigan.

The property is less than a ten minute drive to Mackinaw City, yet tucked away in a private and wooded setting to provide guests with the feeling of truly being 'Up North'.

Across the road is a beautiful 6 acre park on Lake Huron with views of Mackinac Island and the Mackinaw Bridge. We are also conveniently located between Mackinaw City and Cheboygan. both offering wonderful shopping and dining experiences.

Crossing our driveway is the North Central State Trail, perfect for bicycling, hiking and snowmobiling, and spans 63 miles from Mackinaw to Gaylord.

Also close by you will find the Headlands International Dark Sky park, Mill Creek featuring zip lining and hiking, Cheboygan city beach and Gordon Turner park with an amazing play area for kids and scenic boardwalk, beautiful sandy beach with lighthouse for amazing pictures.
Along with Mackinaw City and Cheboygan each being a 10 minute drive, Petoskey and Harbor Springs are 45 minutes, Indian River is 25 minutes and the Upper Peninsula is only a 20 minute drive.

On the property, you will not only find peace and tranquility but also a stream that runs through, a gazebo and an outdoor firepit, perfect for ‘Smores and making memories.

Wonderful property!

This property was perfect for annual sibling reunion. It provided plenty of room to relax and socialize for the 7 of us. The location was convenient to both Mackinaw City and Cheboygan. The kitchen was the best stocked I've ever seen with plenty of spices, among other things. The outdoor space was exceptional. Highly recommend renting this property when visiting the area

Beautiful cabin quiet setting

Very well kept cabin with guest house. The main cabin is beautiful with a well stocked kitchen. The guest cabin is cute and newly remodeled and was perfect for our teenagers. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic extended family getaway

We had all of our adult children, spouses and grandchildren and this was the perfect place to stay! Between the log cabin and guest house, we had plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms for everyone. Great memories made around the fire pit and visiting Mackinac Island and the UP. Would highly recommend!

Great time!

The property was perfect for our family get-together. Clean, comfortable, and well-supplied kitchen. We enjoyed having fires in the fireplace and outside in the fire pit. The night sky was amazing! Easy walk across the road to a small park on the lake and an endless trail in the woods was convenient to the cabin. Monique was quick to respond to texts and gave us some great suggestions for eating out. Will definitely return if we're ever in the area.

Great for property!

I have rented many homes in the last 25 years but this place has to be right at the top! It was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 4 children, plenty of room inside and out. The houses were very clean and very well stocked with everything you would need, the small house was was so new and updated and the big house had that wonderful up north feel. Monique the owner was very responsive. I would highly recommend this property, very close to everything.

Monique was so responsive! We had everything we needed, adequate space for all, firewood for the cookout, yard for the grandchildren to play safely. We got together for the ice cream party. This property was amazing! Even better than the listing explained. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had on the property and the area we were visiting. The house/guest house were well stocked with anything you needed down to firesticks and wood to roast marshmellows at the firepit. The location is great and the setting is very relaxing and peaceful. We were a party of 11, checkin was smooth. Both the cabin and the guest house were kept immaculately clean. Small details and decorations were a class apart. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and amenities. Monique was a great host sharing all Information related to the neighborhood and the house. Family Trip

Checking in was so easy. The Property was clean and ready for a family of 11. Everything we needed was there and the beds were great. This was a great location to Mackinaw City and all the things to do in the area. We really enjoyed the quietness and old train path to walk. The beach was within walking distance and the grandkids really enjoyed swimming. The adult kids what to come back here again. Weather was amazing 99% of our stay. The host was the best to work with and very gracious. Planning to return in the next several years. Keith

A slice of heaven in the north woods!

This was a family vacation for 8. We had just the right amount of room, the kitchen was well stocked with spices and necessities. It was a 5 minute walk to roadside park on Lake Huron and the Mackinac Bridge was in view! The house is between Cheboygan and Mackinac City. It was perfect, it was nicely decorated, beautiful grounds. I loved the large bar area in the kitchen where we all gathered to kibitz on how to make dinner! Such a great place, Thank you!

Family trip

This property was perfect. It was secluded to allow privacy and relaxation, yet within perfect distance to lake front parks in Cheboygan and all activities in Mackinaw City. The checkin process was seamless, and the hosts were very responsive and openly communicated. We even had a small issue with one AC split in the guest house, and we received an quick response and the small issue was addressed and fixed immediately. My extended family takes a group vacation to Mackinaw City every few years, and we will definitely stay here from now on when we return.

Blissful days in a Northern Michigan paradise!

We made full use of the two cabins housing my in-laws and extended family in one as well as my two younger children and husband in the smaller, but completely and recently built out cabin. The kitchen appliances were all modern and up-to-date. The towels were super soft and plenty of them. The air conditioning units were easy to use walk units. While we were there we made good use of the bbq(propane was supplied) and fire pit, the wood pile was well-stocked. There is a nice roadside park a short walk down the road and if you bring your bikes you can use the dedicated trail.
