The Bad (partial list):
- management pathetically unresponsive
- ski locker locked but no keys
- gas fireplace not working
- grill on deck filthy
- broken luggage rack
- master bdrm TV never worked
- master bdrm hair dryer faulty
- master bdrm no place to sit
- not one clothes hanger
- no closets upstairs & no place to hang anything
- not one kleenex
- no way to make ice in kitchen
- no kitchen hot pads
- kitchen knives dangerously dull
- heavy dishwasher handle fell off, almost causing injury
- not enough dishwasher soap pods for week
- dishwasher start button faulty, didn't always work
- nonstick pans need replacing
- upstairs area had head-banging low-lying ceiling
- washer/dryer no instructions provided
- no comprehensive guidebook
The good:
- very clean
- good location
- good hot tub
We arrived & started discovering problems. No showstopper if management had sent someone to fix things right away. Instead they sent messages asking us to follow the instructions in the renters app, which we had already done & told them so.
They are either a Bot or people in India since every response was read from a script. Then they asked us to send pictures! I was there to ski, not be a maintenance man. It was INFURIATING.
Finally, after I threatened to demand a refund, they agreed to send someone. CJ arrived the next day & with a smile (thank you!), solved enough of the problems that we were able to stay & enjoy ourselves. It's a shame since it is otherwise a nice place.
