Clayton Creekside Cottage is convenient to all that Clayton has to offer with the comforts of a cozy stay suited for up to 7 people. We know that a variety of guests will find Clayton Creekside Cottage the perfect place for a getaway. Whether you are seeking a couple’s retreat, a friend’s gathering or a fun-filled family adventure Clayton Creekside Cottage is your place!

Come inside and you will find a bright kitchen outfitted with full-sized electric oven, dishwasher and refrigerator, microwave, electric griddle, toaster, Ninja blender, Keurig brew and K-cup combo and full cookware and dishes.
We also provide complimentary coffee, K-cups, coffee filters, teabags, cream and sugar.
Here you will find an Amazon Alexa Studio where you can play your favorite music to set the tone for your day.

The family room provides comfortable seating with a queen-sized memory foam sleeper sofa, 55” smart tv, a variety of games and puzzles and a gas fireplace. There is also a bar cart with barware. *Please drink responsibly!

Enter the peaceful main bedroom with a private bath, queen-sized bed, 42” smart tv and an Alexa. There is a separate deck access with a view of the creek.

The second bedroom with bathroom access shared by the living space offers a queen-sized bed and additional twin-sized trundle. This room offers a desk if you work remotely and an additional Alexa.

There is a full-sized washer and dryer, small ironing board and iron available for use while you stay.

Outside is a spacious fire-pit area with seating for 4 and hanging bistro lights. There are Bluetooth outdoor speakers to enhance your fireside experience.

Follow the path down the property to the tranquil Stekoa creek where you can enjoy the peaceful rushing water or wander and explore this picturesque nature setting.

For the adventurers you will find LED lanterns, flashlights and walkie talkies for use during your stay.

Easy access to everything

We enjoyed our time in the cottage. Very clean and everything was as described. The location allows easy and quick access to downtown and adventures near by. Highly recommend this cottage!

Great Property perfect for a quick getaway!

We visited Clayton for a quick getaway weekend, and although we didn't spend a lot of time at the property, it had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the fire pit area after our night out. Location was convient yet felt a bit secluded! As a pleasent surprise the property even had phone chargers even though we found them at check out. The host really thought of everything.

Fall get away; mother/daughter trip

Everything was wonderful: prompt communication and lovely updated cabin with all the modern conveniences. The location was excellent, so many sights nearby and right in town but yet felt isolated. It’s a great place to stay!

Charming Escape

What a wonderful charming cabin that has everything you can ask for with a mountain retreat. My son absolutely loved playing in the creek on the property and I could have spent all night next to the fire with tunes playing. The cabin itself was super clean, spacious and had all the amenities we needed. You can really tell the owners were thinking about how to make this place a special experience. Will definitely come back soon!

Little get away

Everything we needed was there. Not a thing I could think of that wasn’t. Very cozy. Very clean. Very nice. The owners were very sweet and accommodating. The location was off the beaten path enough to be quiet and relaxing but close enough to everything to leave the house at night and grab a sweet treat. Mountain city and Clayton city were both an arms throw away but you wouldn’t know. Couldn’t ask for a better place at a better price with better people.

Great, convenient spot

This house is awesome. It’s very clean, and is conveniently located very close to downtown Clayton. Also, a very short drive to Dillard, and within an hour of so many other places such as Highlands, Franklin, Helen and Cleveland. The property manager was very responsive and checked in during our stay to see if we needed anything at all. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved it!

Loved this cottage! Convenient to downtown and most anything else you want to do in the area. Very well stocked right down to the dog bowls and dog clean up bags! Also, bed is very comfortable. We hope to come back soon.

Well-stocked and stunning!

We loved the Creekside location! We had a wonderful time exploring the creek and even “panning for gold (pyrite)” with our kid. We enjoyed playing the board games, and cooked several great meals on the grill and in the beautiful kitchen. The hosts’ guide with restaurant and recreation suggestions was on point. We would absolutely return again - the one small downside is that the wi-fi quality wasn’t up to being able to handle work video calls or streaming shows o the tv - we found workarounds for both needs, though!

The cottage was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Check in and out was super easy. We were in the area for a baseball tournament and we were only about 10 minutes from the park. It was very close and convenient to everything. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. A gate at the end of the small back deck would be a great addition, but that’s just my opinion and would not keep me from recommending the cottage to others.

Well Stocked and Close to Downtown Clayton

This place was great. Everything was clean and cozy. I've never stayed at a VRBO that was so well stocked. It was a great surprise. It's right off of the main road which has a bit of road noisez but the fire pit and creek were still enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

Lovely cottage, excellent location

This cottage is so well done!!! Just loved the decor, the floor plan and outdoor surroundings are great and the well thought out amenities are greatly appreciated. In addition to all of that, the location is perfectly positioned to easily access all of the wonderful things to do in the region. This time around, we enjoyed Stonewall Creek Vineyard and Julep Farms (for Easter Brunch). Also, drove up to Sky Valley for the overlook, waterfall & church. Will definitely be back as this area is near and dear to my heart. Thank you for a great stay! Your cottage is top notch!

Great place convenient to town!

This place was perfect. A charming, two bedroom cottage with a carport. I love the lit up outdoor fire pit. And the free coffee and creamer in the morning was a very nice touch. The bed is super comfortable and the showers are clean. I will definitely be back. This place is so close to town. It’s only two minutes away. Close to Chick-fil-A and other restaurants and shopping. Would definitely recommend staying here. Owners were very responsive and attentive. Thanks again!

Beautiful, Stylish Cabin

The cabin itself is update and so stylish. Very clean and comfy! The creek is nice too, but watch your step! I fell twice. Very steep. As beautiful as the cabin is, if road noise bothers you, that would be a problem. It should really state in the listing how close it is to a major Highway and the traffic never stops.

Will Return!

The cottage was perfect for my husband and me! It was beautifully decorated, super clean, and had every convenience. Our every need was addressed from coffee and tea to paper towels and laundry soap. Even outside lights that were on an automatic timer! Fencing made it feel private and remote. Yes, there is road noise from 441, but, it wasn't a big deal at night and we weren't there much during the day. We had white noise from the a/c fan when we needed it. We loved how convenient the cottage is to downtown Clayton. When needed, the owner was very helpful via text. Great WiFi. And, the covered carport was a bonus!
