Das stilvolle und geräumige Hillside verfügt über 4 Schlafzimmer [+2 weitere Zimmer auf Anfrage im unteren Apartment gegen Aufpreis] und befindet sich an einem fantastischen Ort mit freiem Blick auf den Turtle Beach, die Cockleshell Bay und das karibische Meer. Eine Partei kann nur die Villa oder die Villa plus Apartment gegen Aufpreis mieten.

Hillside wurde 2012 fertiggestellt und befindet sich in den exklusiven Turtle Beach Estates auf der Südost-Halbinsel von St. Kitts.

Hillside ist ein Luxus wie zu Hause und bietet alle Vorteile eines luxuriösen Villenlebens. Das Hillside verfügt über einen atemberaubenden, 60 m langen Infinity-Pool. Ein riesiges, 30 Meter langes, vollständig ausklappbares Nana-Fenster bringt den Panoramablick in die 60 Meter hohen Decken der Kathedrale im Hauptwohnbereich. Dies ist ultra cooler Luxus in der Karibik!

Sight, sound & scent of the sea 24/7!

No AC needed during our 12 days late December into January with screened windows and doors open. Plenty of linens; a well-equipped kitchen for the meals we preferred to prepare ourselves. The people of St. Kitts and Nevis are pleasant and friendly. Two in our party swam the two miles from Nevis to St. Kitts and climbed the highest peak on each. Great New Year’s Eve fireworks viewed from the pool and upstairs porch.

Hillside Villa

The Kitts family of 9 adults enjoyed this beautiful villa. We had plenty of room and enjoyed sitting around the pool. The villa was in a very quiet and private area, but was close to all the beaches, restaurants and other Island attractions. Thanks Ed and Brenda for a fantastic week in St. Kitts

Amazing Views

We've stayed in a lot of places in the carribean and the views from the Hillside Villa are some of the best we've seen. We enjoyed our stay. The driveway is a little intimidating at first like others mentioned, but after a couple times it's fine. Brenda the property manager was very accommodating and even helped us schedule a few activities. It's not walkable but there are beaches and a few restaurants close by. A bit of a drive to the grocery store but the views make it all worth it!

Gorgeous view that I could look at for days

The view from this property is incredible. The doors that allow the full experience from the main living area are perfect. Brenda was amazing and responsive. The driveway was nerve wracking the first couple of times, but then we got used to it. Not much is walkable from here, but that’s a trade off for the setting. Would highly recommend this house!

Views to die for

Wonderful house and Brenda the property manager did a fantastic job. The location of the house defiantly requires a 4x4 due to the steep drive, the house is well equipped. Locally Lion Head bar is great and lunch and dinner at the Hyatt. The Pavillion for lunch was amazing as was a couple of visits over to Nevis to Chrishi beach bar and restaurant. The two main beds are comfortable but the twins not so comfortable.

Great stay!

The property rental worked out great for our needs for this trip. We travelled to St Kitts for a work trip and needed accommodation for a large group (10 people) and this property worked great. It was a beautiful house with an amazing view! All interactions with the property owner were great. The property manager, Brenda, was so fantastic and helpful with all of our questions. I would definitely recommend this property and hope we can visit again!

Best views in the Caribbean

Everything about this home is five stars. Great owner, great communication, great welcoming staff (they met us at the airport), great location and great food. Located on the Southeast peninsula of St. Kitts, it is a short drive to some of the best restaurants on the island and the ferry to Nevis. The house has plenty of room, every amenity we could want and incredible views!! We would rent this home again!! Thanks Edward for a great family vacation home!!!

Everything we hoped for and more!

We had waited for years (thanks to COVID) to visit the Hillside Villa as a island family reunion, and it was totally worth the wait! Edward and Brenda were very quick to respond to any questions or changes we had leading up to our arrival. Once on island, Brenda was such a warm and welcoming host, giving us everything we needed to know about the home and island. Throughout our stay she answered quickly and was so helpful in all aspects, even during a threatening hurricane! The house had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back!

Home is built to maximize the views of the surrounding ocean and the island of Nevis. The property also had hummingbirds and Monkeys and we never tired of just observing the surroundings! Gorgeous house

We had 12 ladies celebrating a 50th and a 60th birthday for a week at this house. We had a awesome time! Brenda was so helpful and fun. We rented 2 jeeps to get up and down the driveway and we were so glad we did. We had roger from spice mill cook dinner for us one night and it was delicious! We did a charter fishing day with Sam the man and caught 11 fish and cooked them up in the beautiful kitchen. We are already planning on returning next year!!

Best House on the Island!

We absolutely loved this house. We enjoyed this house with another family, we both have daughters around the same age (5-6 years old) and a nanny. From the moment we walked in, we knew we had picked the right house! Clean, spacious, well wired/connected, great music system. Only small issues were the steep driveway (but well worth it for the views) and the monkeys who would occasionally sneak into the house for a quick orange!! haha. Would highly recommend renting this property. Also, if you are looking for a personal chef or an amazing beachside restaurant, contact Roger at SpiceMill- it truly made our trip. His friendliness and customer service were unparalleled and some of our favorite meals were made by his chef, Eric right in our rental property!

Magnificent Villa with Amazing Views

The villa is situated in one of the best locations to have amazing views of neighboring island Nevis. It is hard to get the feeling of just how large the villa is until you arrive. The villa is very well maintained and offers everything plus many extras. Avenice the housekeeper is very helpful. We had a party of 8 and she was very helpful in getting are luggage from and back to the airport. The owners Susan and Nathan were also very helpful. Susan always made it a point to let us know which restaurants had things going on and also would help with reservations. We spent most of our time at Spice Mill and Reggae Beach Bar & Grill which are in the same area. This beach also offers plenty to do for kids. My son had a blast on the jet ski pack and was complimented by many on the beach that thought he was the owner trying to drum up business because he did so well with it. Their are plenty of good restaurants on St. Kitts. We enjoyed Shipwreck Beach Bar & Grill, Raggae Beach Bar and Grill and Spice Mill Restaurant

Perfect Villa

This villa is in a quite location on the St Kitts peninsula and has fantastic views over the atlantic and carribean bays through the 30m folding doors. The view from the lounge/dining area is superb, this coupled with the very high ceiling makes this a great open space. Air con in the bedrooms is great and essential! The kitchen is very well equipped. Access to the villa is up a very steep hill, 4x4 is essential. In August both beaches where more or less empty, even on "Cruise" days as this is the off season and the penensula has limited accomodation at the moment. Roads are full of potholes and likely to remain so, until the area is developed. The owners, Susie and Nathan where in residence when we stayed and added where great hosts. Susie is a great source of local information. The villa manager, Avernice, looked after us throughout the stay - she was a great help, particulary the airport pick up and drop off. An exceptional villa in a beatiful unspoilt part of St Kitts. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Villa and Vacation

We have returned from our amazing trip and wish we could be back at the Hillside Villa! The views from the house are absolutely incredible and we never got tired of looking outside. This house is well situated for ultimate indoor/outdoor living. We would open all the doors and let the Caribbean breezes keep us comfortable while enjoying all the amenities of the house. We rented the apartment due to the size of our group and it was well worth the extra cost. The driveway is seriously steep which makes it pretty exciting every time you leave the house and arrive home again. You definitely need four wheel drive, and Bullseye will hook you up! The property manager, Brenda, was fantastic! We had some plumbing issues at the beginning of our stay and she got them resolved right away. She was full of information and patience :) I could go on and on about how much we loved this house and vacation. Through reading some of the reviews on this page, we also knew to make a reservation at Reggae Beach Bar for Lobster Fest on Fri night, which was excellent. We also booked Chef Seth Saheli for a private dinner at the villa which was also amazing! We really enjoyed a catamaran trip around St. Kitts and Nevis with Leeward Island Charters as well. It was an unforgettable trip and the villa was a huge part of that!!

The perfect family villa, in a stunning location.

We have just returned from a 2 week Christmas stay at Hillside. We had the most amazing time, and felt the villa was just perfect for everything we needed with our family and 3 children. On arrival the management team met us at the airport and were incredibly accommodating and happy to make sure we knew everything we needed to know. The villa was immaculate, with big spacious bedrooms and a huge communal area downstairs. The grandparents were able to stay in the self contained apartment below which worked quite well as they were able to escape the noise of the children! The best part was the view. It absolutely takes your breath away when you first walk in, and right until our last moments there we never got bored of taking in the view. A very special and unique place. Throughout our stay the team were happy to help us with anything we needed, including high chairs etc. We were incredibly happy. The only downside is the steep hill drive up to the villa, which even with a 4x4 needs to be approached with some speed. I found this quite stressful to begin with (as my husband joined us later), however once you've conquered it a few times, it wasn't a problem. Overall we were very happy with our rental, and we would definitely rent the villa again. The perfect base to explore everything St Kitts and Nevis has to offer.

Breathtaking Views but needs some TLC.....

We rented the main house and the Villa for our group of 12 adults. As advertised, the main house is Stunning! The kitchen is well equipped, BUT the sink is tiny and a challenge if you’re cooking for your group. The appliances could use some upgrades (main level 12 cup coffee maker overflowed if you made more than 10 cups, and the apartment (smaller) coffee maker had quite a bit of rust). In general, the house is showing its age, and can use some updating. The showers throughout had worn tiles, and older (clogged) shower heads. The wicker outdoor table under the covered porch is unravelling, the fridges didn’t have working water or ice makers (Brenda did have the water to the main level fridge fixed within a day of reporting it not working). The lighting in the main house was decorative, but not very bright, and it was difficult to see if you ate later, and impossible to play games in the main living room after dark. The apartment was Not up to par with the upper level (surprising since the $ per bedroom was identical). One bedroom had a musty smell that stayed throughout our trip, and unfortunately the AC in that room was older, and didn’t operate well for the 1st few days. The fridge was rusted and needs replacing. The shower heads throughout were calcified/clogged which didn’t help the low water pressure (Brenda replaced a few). Brenda was Outstanding and assisted us in a timely manner with all of our other smaller issues, and provided lots of help.

House needs some loving

Absolute hands-down best parts of the hillside villa were the view and the pool. We spent more time at the dining table with the huge window open, on the deck and in the pool than anywhere else. We loved that part of it. Expectations are important so don’t expect a luxury house. It looks like it needs a lot of TLC. The outside paint has rust in areas. The only filtered water in the entire house was from the kitchen faucet with a brita filter at the end. The ice maker and the water dispenser in the refrigerator door were both broken. The high-end stereo equipment was not usable because a component had broken. The treadmill, located on a bedroom balcony broke a couple of days before we got there. A bedroom toilet had been leaking for so long that it was dripping onto the washing machine on 1st floor and a large piece of paint was peeling from the ceiling. The tiles surrounding the pool are coming off- in one place you could see the webbing. Where the tiles were not peeling, there was either rusted areas or bleached tiles.the most dangerous issue were the pool ladders. I do not understand how anyone could not know these were a hazard. One person was on the ladder when it came out of the deck and broke in half. He could have been very badly hurt. Brenda, manager extraordinaire, had a new one installed the next day. Pool is not fenced in on all 4 sides. nor is there a pool alarm or any safety measure for kids. But my group would still go back- the view is priceless.

Hillside house definitely had the best view in all the island. Brenda did a wonderful job checking us in and providing necessary info, as well as dining suggestions/reservations. We had an awful time with VRBO customer service and the owner making payments before arrival. I had to contact VRBO weekly to inquire about the issue and the owner was not helpful, leaving it up to me to continually make contact. I was not comfortable with the request to wire money to an account in St. Kitts instead of using VRBO. The house was beautiful, but had a number of areas that could use improvement. The chairs on the pool deck were flimsy and uncomfortable; many of the pool tiles were falling off and the water was awfully cold. The door handles were lose, and we struggled to keep them locked. We lost power one night, but the generator provided was not operational; we spent a lot of time trying to get it to work, but just went to sleep and the power came on in a few hours. We were told later that it was not working . As others have stated, one must have a vehicle with 4-Wheel Drive...because it was Christmas time, there were not enough vehicles available by the time the payment issues were resolved. We did have a great time on the island, with our favorite activity being. a day on a sailboat to Nevis with Captain Coconut and his wife. We loved dining at the casual restaurant...Reggae Beach Bar and Shipwreck. We had a great meal at Marshalls, but expect to have a long, leisurely dinner! Disappointingly, 10 days following our checkout we were accused of stealing 6 rubber coasters and charged $78 for a product that is $10 on Amazon. This was ridiculous and would be enough to not recommend this rental to others.

Awesome house!!

This house lived up to everything that the pictures and description show. Living on the island for two and a half years, the view from this house is one of the best on the island. Everything that you could ask for or need is in this house. The house is towards the top of a mountain so a 4x4 vehicle is a must, especially if you car will be full with passengers. **The only reason that this house is not getting 5 stars is due to a little discrepancy between us the renters, the owner, and the house managers. After our visit, we were charged for a new TV as the TV in the house had a crack in the frame of it, yet still worked fine. We noticed the crack at the beginning of our stay but did not mention anything to the house managers as we did not think it was anything to worry about as the TV worked perfectly fine. After discussing this issue with the house managers and owner, we are being charged half of what a new TV would cost due to two sides not agreeing on when the TV was broken (house managers state that they are in the house twice a month and did not see it damaged before our stay vs us stating it was broken before us). Despite this issue, I would 100% recommend this house as this issue is partially our fault for not bringing the broken TV to the owner or house managers attention early on in our trip. I hope anyone reading this review will be more mindful and ASK for a walk through at the beginning of the trip so that both parties can look over everything in the house, and decide what is damaged/missing/ect before the trip starts. Again, this house was amazing. The owner's follow up has been very quick and professional throughout, and the two house managers were VERY nice and helped us out a lot while we were on the island. This house DESERVES 5 stars but like I said, I hope that our review will help future people be more mindful of damages to houses when they are renting.
