Family vacay

We enjoyed Destin West Beach & Bay Resort. This was our fourth time there. Our family had a total of four units rented. We stayed in Gulfside 606 & it was fabulous!! Very clean & up to date property. It was just as shown online.

Our family came for a week at the beach. The property was as close as you could get. The pools were very nice and spacious. The only disappointing aspect was the 3rd bedroom. It is really a very small storage area with bunks. Great for kids but a little small for adult kids.

Fall Break

Everything in the apartment is new and it was perfectly clean from the kitchen to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Linens and towels appeared new. My kids had a great time going from one pool to the next including the lazy river and the beautiful pool which the property overlooks. Property manager was readily available to answer any questions we had. Would recommend this to any family with young children or teenagers. We had a great time here and would definitely book again.

Short trip but loads of fun

We were in town for our daughter’s cheer competition and were limited on time. The heated pool was a huge hit!! The condo was clean and well decorated. It was convenient to every where we needed to be and wanted to be. Will definitely stay again!!

Beautiful condo with amazing views. Just steps to the beach and a short walk to the boardwalk for all your dining needs. The skybridge was great to get to the lazy river and hop over to Ricks Place. We will be back!

Perfect location

This place was perfect! Exactly what the description stated!! The beach was unbelievable and was so nice to stay so close to the beach and have an incredible view! Perfect white soft sand with crystal clear ocean water! This was our first time staying in this part of Florida and won’t be our last!

Beautiful unit with all the amenities

After a last minute cancellation at another unit, we booked this unit and couldn’t have been happier. Not only was the unit beautiful, but the entire space was perfect. From two king sized beds plus a bunk room to the large kitchen and balcony. The balcony is perfect for watching fireworks. The unit was meticulously clean and make us feel so comfortable.

Condo at Destin West Gulfside

Enjoyed our stay for the month of February. Beautiful view of the gulf and the large swimming pool from the large, nicely furnished balcony on the top floor. Condo was recently updated with appliances including a very nice washer and dryer. Master bath was large with plenty of plush towels. Parking was easy and covered. Appreciated the carts that were available to move belongings to the unit. Will certainly stay here or another unit that Chris has available next winter.

Exceptional condo

Over the last 5 years we have stayed at multiple units at Destin West Gulf and Ocean Condos but never at this specific unit. This unit was by far the best experience we have had. Check in was a BREEZE! Communication was quick and seamless. Beach service-included! The condo was perfect, it had everything we needed for our stay. May be silly to mention but the amount of towels for showering was awesome! We never ran out with a family of 5. Can’t wait to go back next year!

Quick Family Vacation

This condo is amazing! We thought of a last minute trip to the beach and grabbed this listing! Condo has been renovated and is beautiful! The pictures are spot on. The location to the beach, lazy river, and other amenities at the resort were phenomenal. The condo was spacious for our family of seven and my sons especially enjoyed the bunk beds and extra beach toys. The amount of towels were a plus for us and the pools were wonderfully kept. Overall, my family and I will be returning to this listing! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Great Condo

This unit was accurately described in the listing. It was very comfy with a great location and sunset views. Beautifully decorated and the patio furniture was comfy as well. It was well stocked and had a super nice washer/dryer set up. Large TVs in every room. The resort is very nice. It was too cold for us to enjoy the pools. I will say the beach is very crowded with families which is expected with a resort this size. However, if that’s not your vibe think twice. Also people line up 2 hours early for prime beach chair selection.

Absolutely gorgeous!!!!

Let me start off by saying I don’t give reviews but this condo is beautiful. Very very clean. I did not have to do any touch up cleaning as I have had to do with other properties. Plenty of towels and wash clothes, which I appreciated. Pictures on the website are spot on. Communication with Chris and the property management was great. The property was clean as well. Pools cleaned every day and there was always someone blowing the walk ways off. The beach was beautiful and not very crowded.. I will be back to this condo!!

Absolutely Loved This Property

Chris was great to work with, very responsive. The property was recently renovated, upgraded, and clean. Wonderful view of the beautiul pool and the ocean from the balcony. Very large fitness center directly below on the first floor, all the machines and loose weights for every muscle group. Free beach chair and umbrella service was a big deal, as we used it every day. Walked across the breezway over to the bayside and flopped in the lazy river several times, very nice. We've stayed at Destin West three times now and always leave wishing we have booked a longer stay. Condo 606 is fantastic, and we rate Chris and team at 5 stars. Thank you very much!

Perfect

Great condo on the beach. Great location and close to everything. Private beach within a couple minutes walking distance from the door step with an umbrella and 2 beach chairs provided. Few minute walk to a nice little coffee shop on the beach as well as a beach bar and a few food options. Few minute drive to Destin to the east with a lot of great restaurant and water activity options. 15-20 minute drive to the Air Force Base and airport to the north. My son is in the Navy and was recently stationed there which was the reason for my stay. Easy access to parking garage and condo. Condo itself is clean and roomy with very thorough instructions and great attention to detail with all the amenities including smart TV’s and cable in each room. Easy access to huge gym and huge pool. The entire facility is very clean and quiet. The host is accessible for any questions or concerns and very accommodating and met my every need. Will definitely book again when back in the area.

GREAT CONDO!!!

We've stayed at the Destin West Resort I believe 13-14 times now (all on the Gulf side) and this condo was awesome! The updates the owners have done are very well done and the decor is amazing. They were very detailed. I would say that this is the nicest unit that we've every stayed at in this resort. Chris was awesome to work with. He made it very easy to check in/out and his communication was great! We love staying at this resort due to all the different activities that is in walking distance. You just don't get that at any other location. Things such as; pools, lazy river, ocean, we even go catch crabs and critters in the bay, walk to the pier, rent pontoon boats, walk to the Boardwalk to eat, the beach bar next door, mini golf across the street, etc. Again, so much to do right there, and without the crowds of Destin!

Not sure I would call this a 3 bedroom. The room with bunk beds does not have a door. The TV in the living room didn’t work, we called several times, property manger was not responsive. It claims to be a non smoking facility, but people smoked on the balconies. :(

Wonderful family trip - awesome condo

We have stayed in hundreds of hotels and other rentals over the past 38 years and this condo is one of, if not the best we have stayed in. We come to the bi-annual volleyball tournament in April and October each year, and we have stayed in most of the area accommodations, but this unit is in a class of its own. Pro’s: -The parking garage guaranteed that we always had a place for our vehicle even though all other parking lots in the area were overflowing. -The check-in process was ridiculously easy. -The condo was one of the cleanest we have ever experienced -Both the master and guest room had king beds, which made it feel like having two master suites. -The kitchen appliances and washer and dryer were modern and highly functional -The balcony (where we spent a ton of time) was comfortable and had a fantastic view. -The tub and shower in the master suite were excellent -Access to the beach was super convenient - Speaking of the beach - it was absolutely beautiful! -The whole condominium complex was relaxed and quiet - We were within walking distance of several restaurants - There were plenty (!) of towels and extra bedding. - The pool, hot tub and kiddie pool were very nice - The checkout process was the easiest we have encountered (literally take out the trash and load and start dishwasher. Period!) Cons: - We had to eventually return to the real world
