Welcome to Sealodge J8 by Gather. This cozy oceanfront abode is perched atop the cliffs overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean. With stunning panoramic ocean views, this is the perfect home for a relaxing getaway. You’ll enjoy gorgeous sunrises every morning from your private patio and even be able to watch the whales swim by in whale season (Dec-March). This 2 bedroom, 2 bath sleeps 4 and is newly remodeled with luxury vinyl plank flooring, fixtures, furniture, and appliances to name a few. It's equipped with a full kitchen with white cabinetry and granite countertops. A washer and dryer are located in the home as well for your convenience. The living room is light and bright with stunning views of the ocean below and is equipped with a large flat-screen smart TV as well as a daybed with an XL twin. The primary bedroom has a King bed and en-suite bathroom, and the loft upstairs has two twin beds and an en-suite. Both rooms have spectacular ocean views. Sealodge is located in the private gated community of Princeville on the beautiful North shore of Kauai with a 2-mile walk/jog path weaving throughout the gated community this is a great way to exercise or just enjoy being in nature while on vacation. Sealodge is perched on the bluff at the end of a quiet with the ocean on one side and the jungle on the other. One of the many attractions of Sealodge is the walking path down to the beautiful beach below. Only a short 5-minute drive to Hanalei Bay you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains and waterfalls while enjoying fun for the whole family on one of the most famous beaches in the world. Enjoy shopping and dining conveniently located in Princeville or Hanalei and book yourself on one of the many activities to choose from while on the island.

A little slice of heaven

Great stay at Sealodge J8! The views were incredible and we fell asleep to the sound of crashing waves each night. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. Loved the extra touches - beach chairs, boogie boards, lots of extra towels, and flippers. Check in was smooth and easy. The beds were comfortable and the roosters and Nene flocks made for some entertaining breakfasts on the patio. Would 100% stay here again! Added bonus was the proximity to Sealodge beach. A small easy hike to a private, quiet sunbathing spot and small tide pools.

Lovely little condo

This is a lovely place overlooking the pristine Princeville beach. Super clean and well maintained. Kitchen was reasonably well stocked for preparation of simple every day meals. There is a short downhill hike then scramble over some rocks to get to a small very quiet and beautiful sandy beach. Before leaving my kids made me swear that we could come back.

Breathtaking views, clean and quiet

This was a wonderful stay at Sealodge. Easy check- in and responsive host. Perfect location, close to everything needed for an easy no hassle vacation. Watch the stars on the lodge lawn at night and wake up to whale watching from your bedroom window! Hike down to the private beach and take a short car trip to Hanalei for a meal and shave ice. Just perfect.

Nice property!

Nice property in Princeville, exactly as advertised. Stayed for a week with my family of four (2 adults,2 teens) Not huge, but plenty of room for our family. Clean, nice decor, and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Condo complex is nice, quiet and has incredible views. Note that the pool is currently closed if that is something you were looking for. Overall great property and recommended.

Awesome ocean views and secret beach!

Loved the sights and sounds of the ocean. Enjoyed the short hike to the “secret” beach- felt like a fun bonus adventure. Property had a great set up and high quality linens. Loved it!

Beautiful

We really enjoyed our stay there, the views were amazing and was exactly as it was listed. The area was was amazing as well. Even though there is not any air conditioning we never got hot, we opened all windows and there is nothing like falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean. May 2023.

Great area and water views but not suited for us

Super clean property in Princeville area with beautiful water views from each room. Some communication and check in issues that could easily be remedied with a few simple instructions to help overtired travellers. We didn’t realize there were not doors on either of the bedrooms so the lack of privacy disappointed us. This could be a great stay if that doesn’t bother you. The unit is very clean and in a well manicured area. A hike down to the water provided a unique experience. Close by to shops and beaches.

Panoramic ocean views

First impressions are everything. You open the door and the layout of the condo maximizes the panoramic ocean view from every room. At the golden hour, when the ocean glistens and the shore break illuminates, whales play and breach offshore. Storm clouds roll in with spectacular lightning. This condo is updated in all the best ways. Bed is firmly comfortable and adjustable. (Note, pillows were on the overstuffed side.) Best of all, the sheets, pillowcases, and towels are new and crisp, and the quilted-cotton bed-cover was just the right weight if it got cool. (Ask the delightful property manager Sophia for the "shower trick.") The appliances are all brand-new. The kitchen is compact but there's a big fridge and a good electric stovetop. The washer-dryer is so quiet you’d hardly know it’s running. The condo was spotless upon our arrival, and decorated with a beach-chic aesthetic. Communication with property management company was fantastic leading up to and during our stay. Parking is easy. There’s a private beach that requires some hiking skills but is worth it. The complex’s swimming pool was under repair; you might want to check, if that’s an important amenity. The unit does not have air conditioning. When we were becalmed by a break in the trade winds, Sophia was awesome in delivering a second oscillating fan to keep things sufficiently cool. Well-fit screens keep the muzzies out. We recommend this property and would come back in a heartbeat.

Peaceful Oasis

We really liked our stay at Sealodge. It was quiet and peaceful. Every room had an ocean view and you could hear the endless ocean waves from the balcony and rooms with the windows open. It was close to shops and restaurants. There is a great private beach with snorkeling access if your up for a little hike but wear good shoes it can get a little slippery if it rains. The place was modernly updated and had a fully stocked kitchen with great amenities. One of the best sunrises we had on the island was here at Sealodge.

J8 is absolutely charming. The decor is so nicely done. The bed is incredibly comfortable with great linens. On top of all that the prize is the incredible ocean views. They layout makes the most of every window. Can’t wait to come back.
