Wenn das Wetter nass oder kalt wird. . . und Sie finden Stillwell Point buchstäblich in Wolken gehüllt. . . Es gibt einen riesigen Steinkamin, der nur darauf wartet, Sie warm und trocken zu halten, eine Million Meilen von den Sorgen Ihrer Alltagswelt entfernt.

Unser Haus wurde in den verborgenen Hang gebaut unter Einbeziehung natürlichen Materialien, die an Land, wie riesige Holzpfähle, Treibholz, Muscheln, Seesterne, lokalen Flusssteinen, alten Glas Bojen, und alte Schiff Anker, die zum Charme hinzuzufügen gewaschen wurden. Einheimische Pflanzen und wilde Blumen bedecken die Klippe, die das Meer überblickt.

Another Amazing Stay

There are no words to describe the magic and beauty of Stillwater. Ina is a fantastic host. The property is absolutely stunning. We love the old world feel and the originality of the house. Little River getaway

Great property with fantastic views! House style and woodwork were beautiful. Very private, perfect for a peaceful getaway. That said, just a short drive to Mendocino.

North Coast get a way

Excellent rustic house with great accommodations and even better coastal setting with amazing views. Location is close to beaches, trails, Mendocino and Ft Bragg. The host was great and provided excellent instructions and direction. My family loved it and we would definitely recommend booking this property.

Breathtaking Views!

Vintage 1960's cabin with unbelievable location. The cabin is built into the rock on a bluff overlooking the rocky pacific coast. Worth every penny and we had a blast.

Stunning Property and Fun Getaway

This is one of the coolest places I've ever stayed. The view, the property and the house itself was so fun and comfortable. I loved the furnishings and the fact that they owners have kept it just the way it was meant to be. So clean and full of history and meaningful decorations. The owner was so kind, prompt and very easy to talk to. I will be coming back as many times as I can. Thank you!

The location for the house is lovely; however, the amenities are very outdated. Most of the appliances do not work properly; the beds are very hard; and the shower looks like something created in the 1950s.

It's all in the location

The word stunning is overused in our hyperbolic communications, but it is the only appropriate word for this place. Perched on a hill on top of sheer cliffs plunging into the sea, totally isolated from any other outside influence except the magnificent ocean below. The house itself is nice enough, although in need of some fixing up, the furniture is rather dated , etc, but that is so totally insignificant when compared to the incomparable views. We cna't wait to go back again.

Unbelievable Setting!

This is a charming property if you enjoy old and unique (which we do). Lots of fun artifacts accent the walls. The views are without a doubt spectacular, situated high at the end of a private road with a180 degree outlook. It's very private and couldn't have been more enjoyable. We definitely would like to go back sometime.

A private & incredible view!

Sure, it might be an older home, but it has history and a uniqueness unsurpassed. I’d take it over any modern place. Birds and deer. Cold days but the fire was great. Leeward side of house was perfect out of the wind. We discovered things every day in the home. They should have info there about its history. We felt “at home” at once.

Needed getaway

Coming in we noticed the house is very outdated, but taking in the amazing scenery the outdated house didn’t seem to really mater. TV could be bigger for night viewing Especially. All in all our time was spent very well and we received the therapy that The Ocean offers. Also we saw spouts of the whales passing by. Daffodils were still beautiful.

Amazing Views!

We have stayed in the Mendocino area every year for over 30 years. We've enjoyed most places that we have stayed in. This property stands out as having the most amazing view of the ocean with extra points for coziness by the fire. We were 4 adults, settling in, cooking, playing games (from the big game/book closet), and enjoying a quiet read by the fire. Our host was easy to communicate with and we had all we needed to stay 3 wonderful nights. We would definitely stay here again!

I don’t have words to describe this past 18 days!!!!

The setting of this house is the award winner for us and we have stayed in close to 70 VRBOs . Situated on a high point with a panoramic view of the mighty pacific. Every minute presents some delightful scenery right outside the door here. We enjoyed the birds most of all….then the resident deer and a visit one day from a covey or 15+ quail and upon or arrival a fox patrolled the property. The communication with the owner was exceptional….I am a worrywart, and pesty and she was so kind and engaged with me like that’s all she had to do with her time. We happened to have been there during a huge storm witnessed wave action like I have never seen. I have very respectfully shared with the owner they need better photos cause I was not prepared for the mind blowing scenery when we topped that hill! Stay here ….it is unbelievable. Thanks Ina….

"so beautiful it almost doesn't seem real"

This was the statement from our friends who came to visit from out of state after hearing us rave about this home. We are all experienced travelers and not only appreciated the staggeringly gorgeous surroundings; we also appreciated the unscented towels and sheets, the bar soap, the comfortable furniture, and the very clean fridge. Not sure all the previous travelers washed the pots and pans very well, but giving them a scrub was trivial compared to the overall quality. We hope this VRBO remains available forever.

Breathtaking Location! On Top of the world overlooking the Pacific!

This is a charming house, we went as just a couple, but easily could fit 2 couples. You will not likely find better views of the beautiful Mendocino Coast Line! You're literally on top of the hill looking down at all other houses and views. The house it's self is very cozy. It has basic amenities with an outstanding view to have dinner inside or outside on their picnic table. If you enjoy history (which we did) there were amazing martine relics inside and outside the home. Be careful with fire place. I would just dress warm and enjoy the coast the way it was meant to be seen!!
