Welcome to Villa del Sol Nicaragua! Your oasis on the private island of “El Sanate”. The home features private rooms, multiple common areas with hammocks for lounging, ocean front views with beach access, gorgeous sunsets almost every day and 4 staff members to assist you during your stay.

We offer a full kitchen with all the cooking basics you may need. AC, private parking & Wi-Fi are also included as well as transportation on and off the island by boat. The port and home are a 5 minute boat ride apart. A private parking garage located in the port is where you'll leave your vehicle during your stay.

Multi-level home with master bedroom including a large private balcony on the second floor. The first floor of main house features 3 bedrooms with two full/queen size bunk beds in each and a private bathroom. Adjacent to the main house is another 2-story building featuring common area with pool table on the second floor and 2 bedrooms on the first floor which features a queen bed in one room and the second bedroom has twin bunk beds.

The property also offers two oversized “ranchos” which are outside lounging areas to eat, laugh and enjoy during your stay. Additionally, the home is located on private property meaning the beach will likely just be yours and yours alone.

After a relaxing day at the beach, you can walk back to the home and set up a campfire, watch the sunset from the second story common area while you play pool or just lounge on one of the many hammocks in one of the “ranchos”.

Your booking also includes access to unlimited fresh coconuts during your stay!

Great Location!

We had a wonderful time. The house was not super fancy but it was very functional, clean, and in the perfect location for peace and quiet. We were right on the beach, which we had all to ourselves the whole time. We enjoyed lounging in the hammocks and sitting around a campfire in the evening. I especially liked that there were screens on the windows and fans so that we could sleep without AC and listen to the ocean at night. Definitely recommend to others!

Perfection in Nicaragua

Where to start.. Wow. It was everything I had hoped it would be plus so much more.. The house was huge, yet intimate and relaxing. The 2 ranchos outside were perfect for hosting friends and family with more than enough room to spread out and find your own little perfect spot. The beach was at my doorstep and the family that lives on the property to help with your every need was always there when you needed them to be, but stayed out of sight so you never felt like you had company. Russel on the property was so kind and anticipated every need you had before you even had to ask. We always felt secure as they would walk the property at night. There were animals roaming the grounds like chickens and turkeys and geese, so calming for someone like me who enjoys this type of experience. There was A/C which is a big plus, a big screen tv with tons of movies to watch, the internet service was great, even with several people using it at once we never had a problem. They offered us a light menu to cook for us but we brought our own groceries and cooked ourselves and even shared some meals with the people there. There were tons of beach toys and games, way beyond what I could have expected. And oh my, the sunsets.. some of the best I've ever seen. I took my girlfriend who is now my fiance, after saying "Yes!" and brought her 5 y/o son who asked me several times if we could live there because he never wanted to leave, and to be honest, neither did we. I've stayed at the "best" in Nicaragua in Little Corn Island, but this will be the only place I will vacation in the future when we have the pleasure to return, which for our sake I hope is very, very soon. Luis the owner is so kind and helpful, we did have a slight issue finding the dock to park the car, (my fault as I took a wrong turn) but we called Luis he answered right away and offered to video chat with us to help with directions, so 2 mins later we were where we needed to be and never looked back. It is best to arrive around 4 pm so the tide is high enough to take the boat Russel pilots right to the steps of the property. Luis reminded us of this prior to us leaving though so there was never a worry. I want to already be back as I am writing this on the plane back to the states! Do yourself and your family a favor and STAY HERE, or don't and leave more time for me! ;) Just kidding but wow I'll say it again. This is truly paradise, we saw maybe 1 other person walking on the beach the whole time! Loved it!
