The Space:
The Mediterranean Palm is part of the Palm Club - a collection of 7 vacation villas, each with tropical setting. This unit is an ADA compliant, single floor vacation villa unlike any other in the heart of downtown.

The Mediterranean Palm at The Palm Club accommodates up to 12 guests between 4 bedrooms, 4 baths.

Refresh and relax at the Jr. Olympic pool complete with pool-side cabanas or savor the onsite eateries offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and trendy cocktails. Guests can also enjoy an indoor gym and fitness studio with daily classes, a recovery room full of spa therapies, private and shared workspaces, live music, and an active calendar of social events.

Once you confirm your reservation at The Wonderer, you will receive a link to book your time to visit the campus. Please note, all fitness classes and ticketed events are offered based on availability and may come at an additional cost.

While theft is rare Charleston is a city and we encourage guests to ensure their cars are locked and all valuables have been removed.

Town & Island Co. welcomes all our furry companions. There is a $75 non refundable pet fee. You are responsible to inform us you are traveling with your pet(s), so we can add this charge to your booking. Please note: If upon check out, we see evidence of an unregistered pet, the $75 pet fee will be taken out of your SD authorization hold.
We ask guests traveling with their pets to not allow them on any furniture to maintain the quality and cleanliness of our human centered spaces. **no pets on furniture and beds**

*Severe Weather Policy*

Our severe weather and Extenuating Circumstances: Hurricane Policy is as follows:

If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor of SC specifically for the county in which your property is located for the dates of your stay, the extenuating circumstances policy will be in effect. In this case we WILL refund any deposits or payments paid by the guest and we shall have no additional liability concerning the reservation.

However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued by the Governor of SC, then the standard cancellation policy will still apply and no refund will be issued. This is the case even if the guest chooses to cancel or travel is disrupted due to the storm.

Additionally, if there is adverse weather phenomenon outside of Charleston or SC (ie. other regions of the US or abroad) during the dates of the guests' stay which hinders the guests from traveling to the property, the standard cancellation policy will still apply. Therefore, a refund will NOT be issued.

Hurricane season is during the months of June-November. During this time we HIGHLY recommend guests research and purchase travel insurance.

Great stay & location

Overall, very happy with our stay. Fast response times from hosts/property manager. Parking was easy, home was clean, rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. Great location, walking distance to upper king and lots of food and coffee options close by. I would recommend and stay again.

Great stay

We stayed at this location Dec. 26-30, 2024. The location was perfect for our group as it was walkable to King Street. The house was very clean and plenty of room for this group of seven. Everything was as described in the listing. However, if you have a problem whatsoever with noise, this may not be a good choice. Parking is tight but very doable. We had a large SUV & a great driver! I would pick this place again if I knew there was no one above me. The noise really had nothing to do specifically with the people, it really was more about no sound barriers between the floors. Great location, great layout and very clean. The agency was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond.I the floors.

Nice spacious 4 bedroom in great location

Girlfriends weekend, really liked the fact the space had 4 bedrooms each with separate bath. Very walkable to King Street & downtown (about 1.5 miles each way). Nice big gathering area in kitchen/living room & nice space outside with fountains. We were in downstairs unit & you can hear movement from upstairs unit, but did not bother us.

Four Master BR’s with private baths is a rarity to find. This placed filled the bill for our group of four couples. The only negative was parking. The lot is very narrow and tight, especially for SUV’s and trucks. Only having one assigned parking spot with a four bedroom condo is a major downer for this property. They give you a list of parking garages but the closest one is about a half mile away. For this reason I couldn’t rate the unit 5 stars.

Lovely but loud

The property itself is really lovely. Open, great space for the five of us. Each bedroom had a nice bathroom. Location is great too. But the unit itself has no sound barrier between the up and downstairs units, or the outside walls. So we could hear everything that was happening upstairs and outside. Someone in our group was woken up many times each night by noise. I guess that’s why there was a basket with earplugs on the kitchen counter and noise machines in each bedroom! It was spring break so hopefully in other times it’s quieter. Would def not recommend for light sleepers or families with small kids.

Fantastic!!

We were actually a small party for a condo this sized, as there were just three of us, but we had a great time in Charleston. Condo is located just a few blocks off King Street, and we had easy walking (a a few short bus rides) to everything we wanted to see in the historic downtown area. Safe parking (although a bit tight) was right outside our door for loading and unloading, as well as our trips to see Boon Hall, the Yorktown and dinner in Mt. Pleasant. I would say this would be a great spot for several couples traveling together, or a "girls (or guys) trip" for sightseeing, a fishing trip, golf, etc... The condo was well-appointed and had everything we would need during our stay. I would highly recommend staying at this location. My only negative would be that the very nice folks from Texas staying in the condo above us seemed to take the whole cowboy boot wearing thing a bit far...as they tromped around above our heads...I'm not sure who rents the upstairs, but if it's the same company, I'd have them place a sign saying: "Shhhhh...walk quietly after 11pm and before 7am." Even with that, we'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great House

This was a great place for a girl's trip or a couple's trip. There were four ladies in our group and we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. That sure made getting ready for our day easier not sharing a bathrooom. The beds were very comfortable! Management was very prompt to fix a problem with an alarm beeping when we arrived. The house was quiet during our stay. We stayed a Monday - Friday. Thursday got noisier with people coming in for the weekend. Overall, it was great and I would highly recommend the Mediterranean Palm!

Convenient and Accommodating

The property was clean, updated and comfortably slept 8 people. 4 bathrooms was a plus! In terms of location, it was about a 15-20-minute walk and 5-8-minute Uber ride to the French Quarter, City Market, and waterfront. The hosts were extremely responsive and provided helpful suggestions for things to do and eat. We had a great stay!

Top Spot Downtown

This townhouse is close to everything. Easy access to King Street, close to all major restaurants, bars and shopping. Ample sleeping space with a great living room/community area. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.
