Dies ist ein großartiges Familienhaus in der traditionellen Upside-Down-Stil verwendet, um den Strand Ansichten zu nutzen. Das Norddeck hat einen achteckigen Picknicktisch für die ganze Familie sowie einen hohen Tisch mit Stühlen und Hockern, um den Ozean besser zu sehen und dem Koch zu helfen! Es ist ein großartiger Ort, um die Morgenwellen zu beobachten, während Sie die erste Tasse Kaffee schlürfen, oder um ein gegrilltes Abendessen zu genießen (achten Sie aber auf die Möwen, sie sind schnell!) Das Ostdeck ist überdacht und ein schöner Ort, um der Mittagssonne zu entfliehen. Es ist luftig und gemütlich auf einmal !. Beide Decks sind großartige Orte, um die Welt auf dem Luftweg, Land oder Meer vorbeiziehen zu sehen.
Der Speisesaal verfügt über einen großen historischen Tisch, der alle Gäste gleichzeitig beherbergt. Es gibt auch eine Bar für 2 Personen und einen Getränkekühlschrank, um Platz im Kühlschrank für Lebensmittel zu schaffen. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über eine einzigartige eingebaute Bar-Bereich komplett mit Keg Kühlschrank und Margaritaville Blender. Es ist toll für Erwachsene, aber unsere Kinder lieben die Bar als Ort zum Imbiss und spielen. Die oberste Etage hat auch ein komplettes Badezimmer und Abstellraum. Es gibt viel Platz in der Küche für all Ihre Leckereien .. und wir liefern zwei Filterkaffeemaschinen, so dass es keine Wartezeit am Morgen für diese entscheidende nächste Tasse gibt!

Es gibt ein neu renoviertes Master-Bad. und das andere Badezimmer im Erdgeschoss ist in zwei Räume aufgeteilt, eines mit zwei verschiedenen Waschbecken und das andere mit Toilette und Badewanne / Dusche. Diese Konfiguration ist besonders während der Hauptverkehrszeit nützlich! Für mich ist die beste Dusche draußen, wo der ganze Sand und das Salz unter der Sonne oder den Sternen abgewaschen werden können ... je nachdem, wie spät es ist. Es gibt auch ein Deck im Erdgeschoss, wo man Spielzeug und Stühle am Strand finden kann, und im Nebenhof gibt es sogar eine gute, altmodische Wäscheleine für sandige Handtücher und Neoprenanzüge. Fast alle Betten sind neue Schaumstoffmatratzen, die für einen erholsamen Schlaf sorgen! Die Auffahrt hat einen Parkplatz für vier Personen, oder nutzen Sie die Straße und lassen Sie die Kinder den Weg für Spiele und Radfahren nutzen.

Perfect home for a large family or group gathering!

We loved our stay! A small group of couples stayed here for a wedding weekend and it was perfect. Plenty of space and proximity to the beach and downtown Stone Harbor made for a perfect weekend. Check-in was easy and the house was filled with all necessary appliances, cookware, and materials. I highly recommend this home!

Perfect location, charming house

We rented this house as lodgings for the groomsmen and associated guests at my wedding and as a staging area for me to get ready the night before. It had spacious areas for us to meet and handle the business of preparing for the wedding. The location (about 2 minutes' drive/15 minutes' walk from the venue, near the commercial area centered on 96th St) was also great for us.

Splendor at the Beach

Our two families of 10 people had a wonderful stay at this beach haven home that offered two great outdoor patios with a spacious dining and living area inside. We were able to host a barbecue for my father’s 80th birthday and everyone commented on how great the home was. Bedrooms were conveniently arranged on the first floor. Beautiful beach was just one block away. Highly recommend.

A Wonderful Wedding Destination!

My family stayed at the property while attending my cousin's wedding in Stone Harbor/Avalon. The property was in a fantastic location, right near the beach to facilitate quick walks and trips in-between wedding festivities. The house itself is lovely and stands out from many of the cookie-cutter properties around it. The first-floor bedrooms were perfect for my parents, who aren't getting around quite as well as they used to. While we mostly drove around for the wedding activities, everything that we needed was within a reasonable walking distance. We had a wonderful time, and will look into staying there again if we are ever going to be spending time in the Stone Harbor area again!

Perfect location for a friends gathering in Stone Harbor

I booked Bayberry for a group of men to visit Stone Harbor to play golf. The owner was super responsive and allowed us to check in as early as 9AM. We found the house to be very clean and well equipped. There was plenty of local information prepared for us along with a nice welcome bottle of wine! In particular, we enjoyed the bar, the covered deck and the sound system! The kitchen had everything we needed to put on a high end dinner and really appreciated the commercial stove and wide range of pots/pans. The Beds were comfortable and although we had to bring our own linens and towels, we found the overall experience to be excellent. A few items were left behind on checkout and again the Owner was supper helpful in getting the items back. Well done! Highly recommend for a larger group/family that wants to spend some time in Stone Harbor.

Great family beach house, great location and size!

The entire experience was amazing. Starting with the host-who was incredibly accommodating, the house was large, roomy and comfy!!! HUGE covered porch right outside the huge living room! Huge dining table for eating or playing games. Great location -just a few houses from the beach! Everything was very clean!!! Had a great wine fridge, separate ice maker, new appliances! Great house with a great host!!

Great all around and exactly what a week at the beach should be for me. Easy access to the beach and playground. Wonderful outdoor options that get shade right when you want it. Plus the house is spaced out from other homes and has some landscaping on the property. Just perfect.

Fantastic beach house for a family vacation

The house was in a perfect location a few houses from the beach and in excellent condition, with plenty of room for our extended family of 10. Two of the three decks offered a view of the ocean, and they also provided lots of extra space for gathering or privacy. The house is clean, comfortable, beautifully furnished, roomy and very well stocked. There are lots of beach toys and chairs and the outside shower is very convenient. The bar in the living room was the scene of a running "pretend" game for the kids. We really appreciate the welcome and all of the extra attention to comfort and convenience from our hosts. I can't recommend this house highly enough.

Enjoyed our stay very much!

Listing was accurate…property manager was very helpful and easy to communicate with….kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and then some…plenty of plates, cups and glassware…bathrooms were stocked with name brand shampoo, conditioner and soap….house was well kept and very clean…plenty of space and lots of sitting areas, both indoors and out…highly recommended this rental…..conveniently located one block from the beach…

Bayberry: Room for the family

We were pleased to enjoy comfort and the extras. NO POOL. but that's ok one block to the beach. Outdoor shower to rinse off the sand. Lots of gathering spaces, people can "get there own space" or chill with many loved ones. Loved they had hangers and tremendous sound system. We choreographed a family line dance-SO FUN! Don't forget your own linens and towels. room for parking 4 cars in the driveway. The homeowners are keeping the home up todate, renovating along the way!. Trek furniture on the outdoor porch is beautiful! Have a GREAT time-We did!!

Wonderful house and location

We stayed here for a much- needed week away. There were 8 of us ranging in age from 24 to 85. The house is so comfortable and easily accommodated our group. We loved the covered porch on the second floor and the dining room with the big table and windows. Felicia was a fantastic host and went above and beyond in assuring that our stay was as good as it could be. The beach is beautiful and literally just a few steps from the house. Kitchen is well equipped and more than adequate, despite being small.

Excellent Location in Stone Harbor, NJ

This home, although not new, is very well maintained; it is an excellent vacation home for a large family. Location is the best - a short less-than-one block walk to a protected beach, and a short walk to the center of Stone Harbor with its restaurants and shops. The neighborhood - all private homes. In short - and excellent vacation rental!

My brother and I are from a large family and both my husband and sister-in-law come from north of the border. We collaborate well..working and playing together here. Our kids have been lucky to grow up together in this house during their summers and in the off season. In fact, our favorite times have been spending early fall, Thanksgiving, and New Years here. The town spruces up for the holidays, and it's so nice and quiet too.

My parents had a place in Stone Harbor since before I was born. Then many members of the extended family began settling here too. When my husband and I got married and moved to London, we would come to Stone Harbor for our family holidays. In fact we were married in Stone Harbor, and had our reception in Cape May. So you can see the area has special meaning for us. One New Year's Holiday a friend and sister-in-law spotted this property and the rest was history. We bought the house w/one of my brothers, making the trans-Atlantic ownership much easier. Along the way a few of my other brothers have purchased properties on the island and Stone Harbor has been our family reunion 'beach week' spot for 30+ years now. The 20 cousins all have such a good time together that they are now petitioning for 'beach weeks!'

What makes this house great is that it is so close to the beach and an easy walk to town. Because of its proximity to the water we often find our house used as the base camp on beach days. What I love is when it's not too hot to keep the windows open you can go to bed to the sounds of the ocean at night and wake up to the sounds of the gulls in the morning. The house is on a bigger lot too, and that gives it a sense of privacy...as do the big old trees out front. It is not a new house, but an older house modernized w/a bit of funk...the old wood charm mixed in w/the new world functional that just makes it a great house to in which to vacation.
