Welcome to Hanalei Palms! Situated between iconic Hanalei Bay and the breathtaking Hanalei mountains, here you have found the true definition of paradise! Surrounded by lush greenery, palm trees, and colorful foliage, you will love this charming neighborhood vibe with added privacy. This two story home offers an open downstairs recreation room and upstairs living space with kitchen, dining area, bedrooms, and loft.

The second floor living space places you amidst the tree tops and brings the natural beauty of the island right into the home. High ceilings with exposed wood beams and fans move Kauai’s cooling trade-winds throughout the open floor plan, seamlessly connecting the kitchen, dining, and living areas. Contemporary tropical decor and calming color palettes create the ideal balance between beachy and chic. Step outside onto the wrap around covered lanai with an exposed sun deck to take in the fresh air and views. The first floor provides an expansive recreational space that opens up to the large grassy yard. A great location for lounging, getting some work done in the office nook, practicing yoga, or doing a quick workout, the space is yours to utilize how you desire.

Family vaca

Property was accurately represented in the listing. We traveled with two young children, so it was great that everything was not brand new kitchen had all the things I needed and the location was perfect for us.

Great location!

We love the location of this property - within walking distance of everything. That said, this property needs a thorough and detailed cleaning. There were black cow webs on the ceilings, thick dust on most of the light fixtures and fans, both installed and moveable, the kitchen cabinets, drawers, and the drawers contents, etc.

Not at all what we were expecting

As far as location- this property is fantastic! Unfortunately, this property is way past due for some repairs. Almost every piece of bed linen had stains on them and same thing goes for the towels. Every single towel in the master had the same issue. Took a bunch of pics to send to the owner but just never did. Put them all in the laundry and made do with what we had. We were just in Hanalei in Nov of 23 and stayed at a property almost around the corner and it was amazing. For the money we paid for this property, you are better off looking for something else. Not have clean/stain free sheets and towels is just not acceptable.

A little piece of heaven

I stayed here for a week vacation with my sister and 6 year old son. We absolutely loved the house and location. The decor was very comfortable and there were numerous locations throughout the house to enjoy the surrounding scenery. The home was well-equipped and we enjoyed using the boogie boards and beach equipment. The best part is the location. This is my favorite beach and we were within a block of the main beach parking. Mahalo for sharing your home and island!

The location couldn’t be better— very close to the beach and a short walk into town for meals and shopping. We loved the little town. The view is gorgeous from the house and anywhere you go in the area. It feels surreal. The elevated upstairs and fans create a good breeze that offsets not having AC, but it gets pretty warm midday— just something to plan around. Nights and mornings are perfect. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to relax and enjoy a picturesque and welcoming little piece of paradise!

Wonderful family vacation!

We loved our week at this property. Location is perfect, the two primary bedrooms are on the same level (great for families with small kids), and everything was super clean when we arrived. For a rental house, I appreciated the body wash in the bathrooms and outdoor shower, soap, a few basic first aid supplies and access to cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, and starter supplies of other household basics. The house also has tons of great beach supplies (boogie boards, sand toys, a wagon, we noticed a puddle jumper for toddlers) - it felt like the owners/property management company really thought about how to make things easier on families with kids. The house itself has some features that are on the older/quirky side (windows/screens are not the easiest to open/close, the top level loft gets very hot), but the quirks were super minor, and overall we loved the house. The wrap-around porch and outdoor spaces were also great!

We barely had to get in our car the whole week! The house was comfortable and well equipped. The house definitely has some quirks and we'll be excited to come back to see the updates the new owners make! The Hawaii Life team was responsive to all questions and very helpful.

Hanalei Home Sweet Home

This home provided everything we could have desired on Kauai! Spacious and clean living space, cozy beds, soft towels, washer/dryer, kind neighbors (with kids to play with!), beach accessories and was close enough to walk to the beach and town! We look forward to returning!

2023 Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hanalei Palms. So close to the beach access, literally a 5 min walk. Close to the town of Hanalei, we walked to everything! We will definitely but staying here again!

The main living space is upstairs, with a high ceiling and nice light falling in from the roof. The house is well equiped with everything you would need - from kitchen equipment to everything for the beach. Location is great - just a short walk to the beach and walkable distance to the center. If we can, we would definitely come back.

Great location in Hanalei

Wife and I have stayed in multiple rentals all over Hanalei. This was our first trip with our 3 year old. Especially loved the location here - just a block from beach access / lifeguarded park. House was very comfy. Especially loved all of the beach toys, bikes, beach wagon (perfect for lugging a 3 yr old to and back from the beach) umbrellas, chairs, coolers, etc. We would definately stay here again.
