A Nice Long Stay in San Diego

A great clean older property that has been fixed up and furnished nicely. It had a great outdoor space. The host was very accommodating. The bed was comfortable and the Nespresso machine was a great touch! The only bathroom is on the second floor and it is basic. I stayed for a month and have to express again how helpful the host was. I had a great time!

Lovely home, supportive host

We loved this home. Great host! We actually had to leave another place we’d booked because it wasn’t safe for our small kids and the host of this property was super responsive and helped to get us into his place fast so we had a place to stay. And this was on Election Day! Everything was clean and lovely. If you stay with babies and toddlers bring a pack and play and a baby gate for the bottom of the stairs. Perfect for family with 2 kids.

Great spot and location

Came to se friends. Great location and the hosts were very easy and responsive. Good for a couple. Twin beds in guest room are small. Highly reccomend!

Delightful home nestled on a hill

This is a beautiful, well-cared-for classic home. Although necessarily compact, the layout is well-designed and very comfortable. The living room is bright, wonderful kitchen, and a fantastic outdoor sitting area in back. Great communication with the host. And yes, the driveway is very narrow, but the parking space is so very valuable here. An excellent experience!

Beautiful area

House is small but has all that you need. The back patio area was a perfect place for relaxing and entertaining. Take time to walk around the neighborhood and short walk to Balboa Park and the Zoo.

Could have more cleaning supplies and cooking utensils. Outside was a bit dirty. Overall is was fine. Bed seemed old and pillows weren’t comfortable.

Never even got in to the unit!

The code given to us did not work. We tried messaging owner through VRBO, texting the number listed, and calling with no answer leaving us without a place to stay at 8:00pm at night. We did not hear back until the following day. All that to say we never got in and have not been given a refund. Owner agreed to give us a refund initially but has not responded since. I have now spent hours trying to get something from VRBO.

Nice little place

It was tidy & the kitchen and backyard were super nice. We were able to walk to dinner (at Sisters pizza-yum!). My son enjoyed the games at the house. It is very small but it was great for my family of 3 for one night.

Sauntering in San Diego

We were looking for a base from which to explore downtown San Diego and the surrounding districts. We found this fabulous house right next to Balboa Park close to great restaurants and brew pubs - perfect!! We walked all around Bankers Hill, Mission District, Hillcrest and Down Town. Oh and the property was a joy to stay in for both of us, spotlessly clean, bright and sunny with a lovely private little patio. Our host was very responsive and super helpful. Thank you for the snacks! We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay!

Perfect house to stay at for our first trip to San Diego. Great location and neighborhood. We felt safe and secure in the home. The property manager was very responsive to our questions and needs. Would definitely stay here again!

A perfect San Diego visit

Located in a walkable neighborhood close to Balboa park, you’ll enjoy this small home. It was immaculately clean and our host provided some snacks and beverages for us to enjoy. He was very responsive to all our requests. Yes, there are steps, and yes the single off street parking spot is tight, but dont deterr from staying. You’ll like it here.

This was a perfect fit for myself and my two daughters. The house was clean and very well stocked. The outdoor space was the best part and we enjoyed many nights and mornings there. The neighborhood is safe and we walked to many nice dinners there.

Cozy and charming with a convenient location

We stayed three nights here with our teenage daughter and we were very comfortable. The location was convenient, the house was well stocked with everything we needed. There was plenty of on street parking (the driveway is quite narrow so we chose to park on the street). The neighborhood is adorable, we walked to several restaurants and there is also a cute little market just a couple blocks away with a deli. We enjoyed the Little Italy farmer's market on Saturday and hung out in downtown Hillcrest and enjoyed Balboa park
