• Black bear sightings are common in this area. However, keep a safe distance, lock your car doors, avoid feeding them and leaving trash, food or toiletries outside

The cabin was roomy and comfortable, The woods were great. AC was good and kept us comfortable. The check-in process was weird. We had to fax a copy of a driver's license and a selfie in order to get the door code. This is unnecessary since we had already guaranteed a non-refundable payment via credit card. I have never experienced this before. We gave a low overall rating because the owner/booking agent contacted us and said the water was not-potable. This is not good. Luckily, we had brought some water of our own. The shower water had a sulfur-like smell to it. This is an easy fix; simply call Culligan and get a filter system installed. We have one at home and our water is cleaner than the bottled water sold in stores. Sorry guys, but people expect potable water with a rental. If not for this issue, I would have given an overall 4.0 rating.

Nice property, very secluded and quiet. Cabin was quite nice, small and cozy but perfect for what we needed. Lots of sights to see and trails to hike close by.

The cottage was clean, tastefully decorated, and quiet. A very pleasant stay. The one drawback was the water smelled like sulphur and didn’t taste very good, thankfully there were plenty of dollar generals nearby to buy water at.

Great stay!! 🏔️

Quaint little stay! Seems small, but holds a lot. Perfect for four close friends. Fast trip to Winterplace which is why we came. Pictures didn’t show, but you have neighbors which was nice! Everything we needed for a 4 day trip was there! Would deff stay again and it was quick and easy to get in contact with someone if you needed! Thanks for a nice little house :)

Very satisfied

This property is tucked back into the woods and it’s definitely worth the drive. Perfect cabin to get away for the weekend or the week you will definitely be comfortable . Super short drive to winter place which is super convenient. If you do plan on coming with larger groups, this property has other rentals that will accommodate definitely will pursue this property if I want to go back to winter place or to ride the Hatfield and McCoy trails. My experience with the property manager has been amazing. Super good with contact and will handle any problems that may arise all in all experience 10 out of 10.

Our goal is for you to feel the same way. Leave any worry or stress at the door and enjoy your surroundings whether in the woods, mountains or suburbs. Relax at the Cabin, Retreat or Lodge in the West Virginia Mountains close to wonderful ski slopes at Winterplace or try Ace Adventures if you prefer the excitement of White Water rafting down the New River, one of 2 rivers in the World that runs South to North. There are the famous ATV Hatfield McCoy trails along with other beautiful State Parks for picnics, horseback riding, fishing and hiking. A world of adventure awaits!

If you prefer the stunning Smokey Mountains of Tennessee, just outside of Gatlinburg, we have a gorgeous large cabin to entertain your entire family and friends sleeping up to 16 people comfortably. This cabin was built in 2017 and has 4 en-suite King Bedrooms along with Queen over Queen bunk beds. It has beautiful views that you can enjoy from a hot tub on the side porch, a barbecue, a movie room and outside play area for kids. Conveniently located close to Pigeon Forge, Dollywood and Ober Ski resort.
