This updated 2BR/2BA condo offers a memorable retreat. Step inside to a bright and airy living room with contemporary furnishings and tasteful decor, including a cozy gas fireplace and TV. The fully equipped kitchen, featuring a wine fridge, gas stove, granite countertops, and a wet bar, is perfect for whipping up delicious meals. Floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the living room and kitchen provide stunning views. Enjoy music from Alexa in the living room and master bedroom. All linens, blankets, and bath towels are included, along with USB plugs for charging electronics. A Weber propane BBQ is provided on the private deck. Parking is convenient with a dedicated space next to the condo and additional street parking with no time restrictions.

This tranquil escape also offers access to a refreshing pool (heated May to October) for the ultimate vacation experience. The master bedroom features a king bed, TV, and en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, offering quiet privacy. The second bedroom is furnished with two twin beds, and a guest bathroom also provides a walk-in shower. A full-size washer and dryer are included for your convenience.

The condo is conveniently located minutes away from Rio Del Mar beach, shopping in Capitola and Aptos, and just 12 minutes from the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Nearby attractions include Seascape Golf Course, Marianne’s Ice Cream (famous in Santa Cruz), restaurants, a deli, coffee shop, antique shops, tennis courts, a cinema, and a grocery store.

Annual beach stay for our mom

We take our mom , who is 95, to the beach every year….this was a perfect setting for us and our doxie KoKo. Perfect kitchen and living arrangements. We have a great stay as more of our family that was in their RV near by, weee able to visit us for dinners and enjoyed the beach down below. If we get a chance will stay there again, even though we love being closer to the beach. The view was outstanding!

a New Favorite Place

Celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary here and it was perfect for us and 3 dogs. The condo is very clean and modern. There are many places to eat at, if you don't want to cook, and the ocean view is incredible! Parking couldn't be any closer to the unit, and the dogs are able to run around on the deck. We will certainly be back!

Beautiful place

Beautiful, clean, great location, perfect view of ocean! Perfect parking next to apartment. Could use more towels especially bath rugs. It would also be helpful to know what day the garbage pick ups are so we could get it out on time. Overall I would stay here again. We had a good time!

Amazing condo

Everything was perfect . The view was amazing, open area with the kitchen and living room. Access to Netflix and swimming pool. You had your kitchen to cook and washer and dryer. Beach is at the front and able to walk to the beach. Rate this I five star. Will definitely come back

Family vacation with teens & dog

Great view and perfect location for all the things our family wanted to do. It was a quick drive to Capitola and Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Best thing for us was the short walk with our dog to the beach. With the 5 min walk to the beach, we spent a whole day there, using the beach chairs provided in our unit's storage shed on the deck (use bbq key), and running back and forth to our place for snacks, bathroom breaks, etc. Everything was just perfect. We will rent this place again.

Great view, nice location

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. We walked a block down to the beach everyday. The unit was quiet with amazing views of the ocean. The house rules were a bit much - washing and putting away all of our own dishes and taking all garbage out to the dumpster/bins outside. I’m fine starting a dishwasher of used dishes but putting them away too?! I’m not sure why I paid for housecleaning. Also the VRBO fees are so high now that this may be one of the last times I book through it.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After reading and looking at the listing for this home and paying the money we paid, we expected a whole lot more than we got. The front door lock doesn’t work at all, the coffee pot did not work properly and the toaster didn’t work at all. The twin beds were so flimsy and uncomfortable. When enjoying the beautiful view, we couldn’t help but notice the horrible rain gutter job staring us straight in the face. Needless to say, this home needs some TLC. We will not be back. 👎

Reviewer Comments: The moment we arrived we were greeted with ant traps everywhere, I called the property manager and was told ants are common in Aptos and everyone deals with them. We couldn’t keep any open food on the counters and they were so bad in the main bathroom we couldn’t use it, they crawled into the towels and our toiletry bag. We couldn’t sit on the porch outside because the ants bite and you would be bitten within minutes of sitting down. Additionally, there is no privacy on the porch, and 50% of the kitchen and living room. People come to the edge of the parking lot, right by the unit, and smoke, or just come to look at the view. When they are standing there, literally feet away, they can see the entire patio and into the kitchen and living room, absolutely no privacy and it felt unsafe. I’m glad I read other reviews and brought our own linens, the ones provided are not comfortable. The glass on the patio doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in over a year, the community pool is dirty, weeds are growing out of the pavement in pool area, chairs are broken, this area needs attention desperately.

The condo is bright, airy, with a fantastic view of the beach. It's just the right size for us and it will become our go to place going forward.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very disappointed in a property that I have rented at least 5 times prior. There was broken chairs with limited seating that is not good, leaking shower head, you pay a minimum of $800 per night and they provide one towel per person for your entire stay which is just too cheap. The deck area was filthy with construction dust and bird poop which obviously wasn’t cleaned before we arrived so very disappointing that with all the problems on the beach from the storms they don’t want guests to have what they need so they return!
