No need to bring tons of clothes since we have a washer and dryer inside our walk-in closet available for our guests.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire cabin and yard. Only the basement (crawl room) where we keep our maintenance equipment is locked and is not accessible to our guests. Flat driveway for two vehicles and no stairs to get to the front entrance.
Other things to note:
Please check the weather daily before your check-in date. The weather in Big Bear is unpredictable and can change rapidly. On that note, during winter months make sure you have snow chains since they required to have inside your vehicle at police checkpoints. No refunds will be given unless authorities close all three highway accesses to the mountain.
SB County plows our community streets in the winter. But be ready for some driveway shoveling during snowy days (shovels are provided and can be found inside cabin).
Did you forget an essential or you don't feel like driving to town for dinner or a beer? Don't worry, there is a conveniently located general store and a bar&grill within walking distance from our cabin.
Big Bear has a public transportation (Mountain Transit) and there is a bus stop about half a block from our cabin. Please go to their website to see routes and arrival times.
