Seeing black bears in the Spring/Summer/Fall months is almost a guarantee. They are very common in our neighborhood!
Location, location, location! When you travel it's all about access: This cabin is tucked away from the main roads along a secluded road just an easy, 2 mile drive from Gatlinburg. The road is maintained by the city in winter in case of ice so you'll have no problem getting there any time of year! Or, if you want a true mountain hideaway experience, you can reach the cabin by walking up the mountain - it's under a mile from the main road. :)
Feel free to message us anytime :)
Parking is available on the premises for guests only.
There is a security camera located outside the front porch entrance.
You are in bear country and are likely to see some bears in the neighborhood! Make sure to dispose of any food if you grill and don't leave any food out on the enclosed porch or in your car. Bears are smart and can open car doors if they smell food so make sure you lock up behind you!
