Graduation stay

We stayed for a long weekend to attend Tulane graduation. The property was very comfortable for the 5 of us. The property was spacious and Amira was very responsive.

Jazz Fest fun!

We loved the location, walking distance to grocery stores, bars and restaurants.frankly and Johnny delicious food! F and M fabulous bar. We never had to wait more than 5 minutes for Uber. My favorite part of NOLA is the people. Grateful to have my son at Tulane, we won the lottery and now found our favorite place to stay.

Christmas visit

The house was perfect for us. Other than a few lightbulbs needing changing and a problem with the oven, everything was smooth. Place is up to date, nicely furnished and updated, and the beds we’re comfortable. Easy to get anywhere in New Orleans from there, and good restaurants and a big supermarket nearby.

Charming and comfortable

My friends and I flew in from all over to enjoy a NOLA weekend and go to the Saints game. We were pleasantly surprised with how big and nice the house was. We were four large adults and had no problem sleeping or staying out of each others way. And since the weather was rainy we stayed in more than we planned and watched the great college football games playing that weekend on the large TV. Check in and out was a breeze. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful retreat in New Orleans

We had a great time at this property in New Orleans. Beautiful inside; lovely outdoor space on which to have some coffee or a drink; comfortable rooms. Host was easy to communicate with and responsive. It's on a busy street but was a cute neighborhood to walk around in. We rented a car and had no problem parking. Great stay -- would return there!

Beautiful house-matches pictures

Really lovely home with easy access to shops and restaurants. We were staying for a Tulane related event and was much easier than staying down near the quarter. We rented a car and used it but also walked to a number of places. The house is well stocked and was an easy place to feel at home. Definitely matches the pictures online.

Beautiful and welcoming home!

As others have said, the house is even better than the pics. Neighborhood is friendly and clean. Grocery really close by. Don’t miss Hansen’s Sno Bliz a few streets down for a true NOLA experience. Same with Barracuda Tacis. Road out front has traffic and there is a train nearby, but we were never bothered by either one so don’t fret. Linens and beds were super comfy, too. Will come again next time visiting extended family. True gem!

Lovely!

Beautifully decorated, comfortable and well laid-out home, perfect for our multi-generational family’s stay. The layout made it easy for our mix of “early bird” morning people & later “night owls” to easily not keep each other awake. Convenient to great restaurants, grocery stores, and centrally located for a range of our favorite NOLA spots like Audubon, St. Charles, Magazine St. etc. East parking. Next door self-storage building lights kept the area feeling safe at all hours, but weren’t too bright for us in the rooms. The owner was very nice, responsive, and helpful. Large laundry machines and space to hang clothes was very convenient. Beds were very cushiony-soft. Street outside is very busy but there is a gate between the home and the road. All in all a great home!

Birthday celebration

We went to celebrate ny sister's birthday. Beautiful house very clean. Property owner very responsive and accommodating. It was too hot, but they have a very nice patio as well. I highly recommend.

Wonderful girls trip !!

Thank you so much for our wonderful stay at your beautiful home. Everything was as described. Great location. Although we didn't travel with children (5 adults) the home is very kids friendly. You must have lunch or dinner at Pascal's Manale just a short drive. Wonderful !!

Very thought, lovely apartment. So clean has everything you need. Would recommend!

This was our second time staying in this rental. My son attends Tulane I love how close it is to the campus while still being closed to all that Magazine Street has to offer. Amira keeps the apartment extremely clean and thoughtfully decorated. Note, however it is on a very busy street, although could not hear the street noise from my bedroom.

Perfect spot

Booking in NOLA, a place we have never visited was difficult. There were lots of options, but not knowing anything about the area, we were nervous to book the wrong place, in the wrong neighborhood. We were traveling with our children. A safe neighborhood and the convenience to a grocery store was a priority. THIS property checked off our must have list, plus more. We had a car rental(Suburban) and had no problem parking right out front. We took a short 8 minute walk to the grocery store and the Convention Center was less than a 10 minute drive. A pleasant surprise was the bath products provided were clean natural products and the towels and linens were plush and made sleeping and getting ready delightful. This home is beautiful, extremely clean and includes all the details that makes a long stay comfortable. I cannot forget to mention the nails salon thats right next door. I had zero time to get a pedi before we left Arizona and was amazed when we pulled up to a brand new nail salon, it’s clean and chic with really detailed nail techs. There is no need to get your nails done before vacation starts. Overall, a 5 star rating to this properties owner is well deserved.

Charming home with ALL the amenities

Our weekend girls trip at this property was perfect. It was clean, beautifully decorated and stoked with everything we could possibly need. Also, the host was quick to answer any questions and was so helpful to our group as we were dealing with travel delays. We walked the neighborhood several times and felt completely safe. Beds were very comfortable and we loved the Public Goods brand for toiletries and detergent. I would give 10 stars if I could. Definitely recommend to others and would stay again.

I'm a busy professional whose main passion in life is to travel the world with my 7 year old side kick. I also enjoy hosting and am constantly finding excuses to throw a party. I must confess, however, I am a bit of a snob when it comes to where I stay and how/where I vacation. So naturally, furnishing my new short term rental and sharing it with my guests-to-be has been thoroughly enjoyable! I took all of the things I personally look for and added them ( plus much more) to give my guests an unforgettable experience.

During this journey, I found my new passion and creative outlet in furnishing and interior design. With my daughter's help and input (mostly by dancing to the backstreet boys while I decorate) we have created a chic, warm, family friendly home. We hope you enjoy the Chateau Bleaux as much as we do!

We live in NOLA. We are serious foodies, enjoy being out and about and exploring this fabulous city. I'm happy to make any recommendations about anything related to your stay here. As you can see this listing and the home are brand new so we have no reviews and I am yet to be a super host, but trust me on this one! Happy travels!

This gorgeous home is everything New Orleans. It was originally a shot gun style home that was recently renovated into a spacious single family home, all the while maintaining much of it's original NOLA charm.

The house is located in the heart of the trendy uptown neighbourhood. It is walking distance to cafes, restaurants, playgrounds, grocery stores, gyms, bars, breweries, you name it! It is also a short walk to magazine street and a 10 minute drive to the convention center, central business district as well as the French quarter and super dome. You can't go wrong with this location. Tchoupitoulas street is where Mardi Gras floats line up, such a unique experience ! Parades are all within a 5-7 minute walk!
