This cottage is in a great location to have that perfect up north vacation! On Torch River, 1/2 way between Lake Skegemog and Torch Lake. This 3 bedroom (sleeps 8), 1 1/2 bath cottage has been recently remodeled - kitchen, living room and bedrooms, as well as new appliances, living room furnishings and new flooring throughout. Enjoy sitting on the waterside deck and watching the boats go by. Or sit in the screened in gazebo to relax and chill. Bring your boat and have the convenience of keeping it tied up at the newly constructed dock, right outside your door! (boat launch right down the street) Spend your days boating on the many beautiful lakes of the lower chain of lakes, which includes Torch Lake, Elk Lake, Lake Skegemog, Clam Lake and Lake Bellaire. Whether you want to ski, swim or find a quiet place to fish, all of that is within your reach. You are also about 30 minutes to the Traverse City Horse Shows, 40 minutes into Traverse City - home of the National Cherry Festival !! Or, drive about an hour to other great and interesting areas such as Charlevoix, Petoskey, Leelanau Peninsula, Old Mission Peninsula and let's not forget about spending a day at the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes or Mackinac Island. Whatever direction you choose to go, the surrounding area has so much to offer, from places to visit, to small little shoppes where you can find that special something to remember your trip by. Oh, and don't forget all the wonderful restaurants, wineries and breweries the different areas have to offer.
We are looking for renters who will respect neighbors and the cottage itself.
