We are located in the Heart of Red Hook, within walking distance of the market, banks, ferries, restaurants, entertainment & much more! We host multiple units in the same building, 1 and 2 bedroom units. Be sure to click our profile picture (JBH Rentals) to view more listings. Red hook is a very popular area in St. Thomas. There are so many great restaurants, bars, shops, and boutiques to explore all within walking distance. The ferry is located directly across the street and can take you with or without a car to St. John and other islands. Moe’s Fresh Market is located at the bottom of the hill of condo where you can get all of your groceries. Red Hook Marina has many charter boat and deep sea fishing excursions. It’s a wide variety of things that you can do all within steps of your stay!

After booking you will be provided with all the information needed to access the unit at your own convenience. As well as reserved parking information for one vehicle. Guest will have access to the lively town of Red Hook and all it has to offer.

There is a parking gate that opens in the morning and closes in the evening for added security and safety. You will be provided the code to come and go as you please. Red hook is known for its night life and parking is hard to find, but you will have your own reserved spot.

We have a washer and dryer in the unit but guests will also have access to our coin operated laundry machines that only take quarters located on the first floor. You can get quarters from nearby banks (Banco Popular or First Bank) within walking distance.

This is our home away from home and hope you feel at home as well during your stay! The unit is apart of a freestanding building that has 15 units. THERE ARE FLIGHTS OF STAIRS YOU MUST WALK UP, THERE IS NO ELEVATOR. It is a gated building with one assigned parking space, that requires a fob to access. Our unit is located on the 3rd floor. The beach is a 2 minute drive away! Unit is fully furnished with incredible view from large balcony. Three split A/C units that cools very quickly! Unit includes expanded cable and high speed internet! Due to frequent power outages on the island, we have a generator to power every unit and all common areas. The unit is not wheelchair accessible.

There are three Smart TVs in unit. One in each bedroom and one in living room. TV in living room is the only one with a cable box. Other TVs are capable of signing into Netflix, Hulu, etc.

The best way to travel is by taxi or the Safari Bus. The bus stop is at the end of the street in front of Ocean Safari across from Moe’s. The Safari runs in an 8 pattern circle around the island and costs a couple dollars depending on how far your destination is. If you prefer to rent a car, please note that in St. Thomas they drive on the left side and have a ton of curvy roads and blind spots! So drive carefully! Great Location

Very nice place, close to restaurants and bars. The grocery store is a 2 minute walk from the building. The terrain was steep and carrying a lot of bags up 3 flights of stairs was a great workout too. Very convenient location.

Great one night stay in Red Hook!

We had to get on a boat for a week from Red Hook so stayed here for the night before. SUPER CLOSE LOCATION was PERFECT! Clean place, great for 2 couples. Stairs up 3 flights no problem, just don't have a ton of luggage. Everything worked great for us!

1st Time in St. Thomas

We enjoyed the property also having everything near us to walk store, shops, etc… I was just not prepared for the walk up and down the hill and 3 flights of stairs! It’s a workout for sure. Still was a great stay!

Condo in Great Location

A group of three of us traveled to St Thomas for a long weekend and stayed at this condo in Red Hook, which is located very close to a market, great dining and pubs. The condo was clean and had wonderful views, though the kitchen lacked the basic amenities, such as salt or pepper, alittle coffee, a tea bag or two. Nonetheless we would recommend this property to those looking for an easy stay on the east end.

Beautiful convenient Red Hook Stay

This apartment was just as pictured—a beautiful mural, stunning view of the harbor with a patio and sunset view, and most importantly, extremely comfortable beds (especially in the loft). We loved that there was a washer and dryer, too. Check-in was easy and streamlined. We only stayed for one night because we were going sailing for the week, but it was the perfect stay. The apartment is very close to an excellent grocery store, and steps from the docks. There are tons of restaurants and an once cream spot within a 2 minute walk, and some fun nightlife as well! Highly recommend this apartment whether you need a staging spot for your sailing trip or to explore Red Hook.

Poor Communication

Overall the stay was fine, but there was very poor communication when it came to checking in, and accessing the property. There were several gates/locks that were not self explanatory to use. And there is a external gate to the property that closed while we were out. The owner did not email me with the access code for that gate until an hour before it locked, and at that point we were already out and I was not regularly checking my email. It would have been nice to have all of the relevant access codes and lock information upfront the day before our stay.

Cute with potential to be great

The condo is cute with great views of the Red Hook Harbor and the ferries. It’s walkable to a few restaurants, shops, bar and even a nightclub. So the location was good. The space was good and gave us the needed elbow room not to feel on top of each other. I especially enjoyed the loft bedroom. However, as beautiful as the view are, adding some curtains for privacy and blocking out the early morning sun would have been greatly appreciated. I wasn’t able to sleep beyond 6:30am as there was no escaping the sunlight. Also, while I don’t normally watch tv while on vacation, it would’ve been nice to have some sort of basic cable available. The kitchen could use some updating as the counter tops are stained and should be replaced. The floors were dirty as evident on our socks. So there were definitely some pros and cons to the condo. But overall, I enjoyed everything that it had to offer. Especially the generator as the power went out multiple times on the island, so continued access to AC and lights was greatly appreciated. One last thing, walking up the hill to reach the building followed by the 6 flights of steps really reminded me that I needed to step up my workout game.
