Das Hotel liegt am wunderschönen South Beach, 2 Meilen südlich von Newport Oregon. Die Einstellung ist privat mit einem atemberaubenden Panoramablick auf Meer, Strand, Brandung und Küste. Der weite Strand lädt zu ausgedehnten Spaziergängen in waldreicher Umgebung ein. 5 Minuten asphaltiert Einfach ruhig zu Fuß oder mit dem Auto zu unserem örtlichen Strand. Meilen von einsamen Strand in wenigen Gehminuten vom Haus entfernt. Ideal für Paare, Familien, kleine Gruppen, Geschäfts- und Bibel-Exerzitien.

Lovely place for a sewing group getaway

The property is lovely, with a great view of the ocean. There was plenty of space for our 9 person quilting group and none of the bedrooms felt like an afterthought. (We have stayed at some places where a bedroom or two feels like a converted closet, not true here!) All of the bathrooms are also well-sized. The kitchen is abundantly stocked, with enough room for multiple cooks. One note. The host is dead serious about only three cars. Do not make the same mistake I did and assume that because all cars are on parking pads on the property and not visable from the street that you are ok. Apparently this is a county thing, but we have been renting in the county for 10 years and this is the first time we have been reprimanded. Totally my fault, just a heads up that if you have a group with chaotic schedules - like us! - that prevents car coordination I'd look at the provided list of overnight paid parking.We very much enjoyed our stay, and all agreed that it was the nicest property we had ever rented for our quilting weekend. Now if we could only get our car act together.......

Mini Family Reunion

A truly amazing place with spectacular views and easy access to the beach. Plenty of room for the 10 people we had gathering. Fully equipped kitchen. Great wi-fi and entertainment setup. Great deck and living room gathering areas. We all had a meaningful time together and this place made it all the more special. Can't beat the view!

House was beautiful and very clean. Windows were spotless so that you could see the ocean which is not always the case with places we have rented in the past. House was everything as listed and loved the single level. The only negatives we had were the TV's were not Smart TV's and we couldn't get them to work. Had to contact the owner Dennis who responded quickly to assist as my boys wanted to watch baseball playoffs. Dennis told me it was probably time to upgrade. I told host that they should provide shower soap and shampoo in the bathrooms. We paid $650 a night, so that should be a standard. With a high price, comes higher expectations of basic products. Great house and I highly recommend.

Beach Trip 2024

Our group of friends from high school gathers somewhere on the Oregon beach once a year, and have been doing so for over 20 years. This was our first stay in the Newport area. We loved this house. From the minute you walk into this spacious home you see the ocean and feel instantly relaxed. There is so much space in this house, no one feels on top of anyone else. The beds and linens can make or break a stay. This was the first year no one complained about them, which says a lot. I was so impressed with the owners. They made us feel welcome in their home, and were very responsive, helpful, and gracious.

Great view, great house!

Five top notch bedrooms plus bonus room above garage, meant our whole family could stay in comfort. Luxurious home with one of the best stocked kitchens we have ever had. Finally, a gorgeous view, so even my Dad, who can hardly walk, could sit and look out over the ocean.

A Gem on the Oregon Coast

Absolutely loved our stay in South Beach. This property is a true gem. We had a family of 9 stay in this wonderfully designed and maintained property. Panoramic Vacation Paradise is a fact!!

This was our 2nd year in a row staying at this property and we have already re-booked for year 3 which speaks volumes. The view is spectacular and access to the beach is very close and easy. Beautiful home for our family stay!

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Dennis and Louise’s beachfront home. The house was spacious and comfortable. We loved the gourmet kitchen which was well stocked with pans, dishes and utensils. We also enjoyed long walks on the beautiful, expansive beach- it was very windy, but lovely all the same. Also loved the pin pong table and grill! However, the best feature of the home was the ocean view. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets and were thrilled to spot many juvenile gray whales right out front of the home (along with eagles and sea birds). Highly recommend!

Octogenarian retreat.

The title says it all. The home owners and their staff deserve a 5+ rating. Nine of us retirees spent five glorious days in this end of the world retreat having what could be our last reunion. It was perfect. I will not bore you with all the usual accolades for five star retreats. The real plus was the physical plant and its convenient accessibility. For us one level living was important. Stairs were a minimum and access to amenities was perfect. The kitchen was thoughtfully equipped and convenient. And this is coming from some old chefs. Let me put it this way… we have decided to do this again next year at this home if they will have us. You know old folks…we can get rowdy when turned loose?

The Oregon Coast has always been a special place to see beauty, recharge, and renew in Nature. So many wonderful people we have met that live and work in Newport. We saw this home for our family vacations and were captivated by the view of the ocean, Newport itself, hikes, beach walks, fresh ocean air, sunrises, sunsets, ease of getting services, restaurants, and a place the kids enjoyed. It is a special unique place. We like the ability to sometimes be very active and then slow down to watch the waves and sky.

At times come together for meals and relaxing and games. Two living rooms so one group can do one thing, the other living room the other group can do something else. Very quiet neighborhood so we can listen to the ocean. At times there is a plane or coast guard helicopter making sure lives are saved. Rows of nice leather easy chairs that look out to the ocean. Then we as a family go to the beach with sand toys, portable chairs, and then come back to home cooked meal with a beautiful sunset. We've had corporate planning meetings there or a company providing a treat for its staff with a fishing trip. Our housekeeper and landscaper take great pride in our home as their own, so a joy to have them.
