We had a really nice relaxing stay at Hideaway Cove. Plenty of space for all of us (group of 13), cooked together, beached it together, sat around the bonfire together. Inside, plenty of space for eating together, and not cramped for sleeping space. We used both the main house and the cottage on site...having two areas for people worked nicely for us. Bathrooms are recently renovated, nice and clean, good hot shower. Hot tub/swim spa was very popular ;). All very good amenities.
The view of sunrises was excellent every day we were there. We were able to put our jet ski in the lake at the Port Sanilac harbor, and it was a 5 minute jet from there to the beach at the Hideaway. This year the water was very high, so the beach wasn't expansive, but definitely enough room for us to hangout, swim, ski, kayak, and enjoy the lake. Lots of stairs down the embankment, but always worth the trip. The hosts provide several kayaks/paddle board, so no need to bring a lot of equipment.
All in all, a really good stay.
