Do not rent from this host. The listing was misrepresented and upon check in we were faced with a dilemma – upon arriving at a VRBO after a 7 hour drive eager to see our son at Gonzaga, who wants to haggle with the host about all the things that are wrong? When we contacted the host upon checkout, our complaints fell on deaf ears and their response was we should have contacted them the first day. For what? None of this was fixable. We paid over a grand for this stay. The “fenced in property” had a broken fence that our dogs could have easily run through, and there was a groundhog infestation on the border which attracted our dogs right to the broken fence area. The awful deck condition with chipped paint, broken boards and debris filled hot tub eye sore makes you not want to be out there and you can barely walk in the yard due to all the rocks. The house had unclean areas including: toaster, deck furniture, grill, peeling wallpaper, leaching plastic ware in kitchen, windows, laundry room, and broken window and slider blinds, mouse traps in every room. The beds were uncomfortable and the bedding was cheap and barely usable. The basketball game advertised was destroyed and arcade game was designed for someone 4 feet tall. Pre-programmed Roomba went off nightly at 3am waking us up as did a fire alarm with a dead battery. Cars drove 45 mph down the street right outside the front door. This property needs to be fixed and photos need to reflect reality before being rented.
