If you're looking for a quiet getaway, this is the place to stay. My son and I came down on a fishing trip and it was very peaceful! Oh, and the fishing was excellent!

FIVE STARS! We loved this property. The dock was amazing. There are tons of catfish and crappie at this dock. Bring some cheap dogfood and bread for the kids to feed the catfish. The kayaks and paddle boards were great fun. It was the weekend of October 18th, the water was a little chili but kids still were happy to get in the water and play. The location is quiet, beautiful and relaxing. The beds were a little firm but that’s totally a personal preference. We were able to bring our small dog and this felt like a very safe, comfortable place to be. Must eat at Mudbones! Best hamburgers and fries ever plus chicken strips or grilled cheese for picky eaters. And a free arcade! Cute shops downtown. And a Brookshire’s about 7 minutes away if you need anything. The sunsets from the dock were spectacular every night. We hope to visit again! Thank you for hosting us

Birthday Boys Weekend

We live locally in the Bonham area and we were looking for a stay-cay for my son’s 14th birthday party with his buddies - this location fit the occasion perfectly! Owner hung a “Happy Birthday” decor sign for a personal touch & I really appreciated the sentiment. 10 out of 10 recommend! Crappie fishing at the dock and the sunsets were awesome! The boys had an amazing extended wkend and we can’t wait to come back for a longer stay. Thanks Bill!

A perfect lakeside getaway

We had the most incredible time at this lake house! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful setting, stunning views, and thoughtful touches throughout the home. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The host was responsive, kind, and clearly takes great pride in this home—it shows in every detail. We’ve stayed at many vacation rentals, but this one is truly special. Beautiful location

This location has a beautiful view of the lake from the house and private dock with a great view of the sunsets and the activity on the lake. The dock is covered with plenty of space for everyone in our group to fish at the same time. And we caught some fish from the dock. We plan on returning to this property.

End of Summer Lake Trip

Our stay was perfect! We swam and floated off the dock during the day, and then fished in the evening. Caught plenty of crappie! The beds were large and comfy. The kitchen was roomy for gathering and cooking meals, which we love to do. Neighborhood was quiet and tucked away. Bill was responsive with communication prior to trip. Our stay was short, but we had a blast. Thank you!

Family Trip

Booked this place for our yearly family getaway from home! Amazing place to stay! The lake is not far from back door, grocery stores right down the street! Our experience here was wonderful! Family reunion at the lake

Great spot and dock was handy as we had a boat. Pantry was stocked with essentials so it was easy to cook for the crowd! Lots of extra blankets and pillows as we had teens on air mattress.

THE LODGING AND LOCATION IS SECOND TO NONE...THE FISHING FROM THE COVERED DOCK IS FANTASTIC...PLENTY OF ROOM FOR MANY ACTIVITIES...OUR STAY WAS SHORTENED BY MOTHER NATURE...COLD, WINDY, AND RAIN NOT IDEAL FOR A FISHING GETAWAY BUT WE DID CATCH A COUPLE OF 3LB CHANNEL CATS SO NOT A TOTAL LOSS.
