Das Cottage im Garten befindet sich hinter unserem Haus in South Redondo in einer ruhigen Wohngegend. Auf der Rückseite der Unterkunft befindet sich ein privater Wellnessbereich. Wir sind 15 bis 20 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand oder eine kurze Fahrt mit einem unserer kostenlosen Fahrräder.

Beim Betreten der Hütte hat man den Eindruck, sich in einer Berghütte zu befinden. Es gibt Vintage-Ski und einen Schlitten, der an knorrigen Kiefernwänden montiert ist. Es gibt zwar keine Küche, aber einen kleinen Kühlschrank, eine Mikrowelle, einen Toaster, eine Kaffeekanne und Geschirr. Genießen Sie das Frühstück im Cottage oder sitzen Sie auf dem Deck. Man hört Vögel singen, den Springbrunnen und das leise Läuten von Glockenspielen.

Ziehen Sie nach dem Frühstück Ihre Shorts an, schnappen Sie sich Handtücher, Liegestühle, ein Picknick und begeben Sie sich zum Strand. Laufen Sie barfuß im Sand. Fahren Sie mit dem Fahrrad von Torrance nach Santa Monica. Gehen Sie zum Redondo Beach Pier, der nicht weit entfernt ist. Der Pier bietet Wassersportmöglichkeiten, Souvenirläden, Restaurants und Fotomöglichkeiten.

Kehre später zum Cottage zurück, um dich zu erfrischen. Beobachten Sie, wie die Vögel im Vogelbad planschen, die Kolibris sich von den Fuschien ernähren und die Brise des späten Nachmittags genießen. Oder lesen Sie ein gutes Buch aus unserem Bücherregal, während Sie im Sessel oder im Segelflugzeug sitzen.

Dann ist es Zeit, über das Abendessen nachzudenken, aber zuerst kehren Sie zum Strand zurück, um einen spektakulären Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten. Anschließend geht es zum Abendessen ins Riviera Village. Nach dem Abendessen geht es zurück ins Cottage, um einen Blick in die Sterne zu werfen, während Sie im entspannenden Spa sitzen. Beenden Sie Ihren Tag in unserem bequemen Daunenbett.

Zauberhaft !!!

In jeder Hinsicht empfehlenswert. Das Cottage war sauber, gemuetlich und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Pam und Bill waren tolle Gastgeber und hatten noch viele Tipps fuer unsere weitere Reiseroute. Wir wuerden jederzeit sehr gern wieder kommen.

Great place to stay!

My boyfriend and I wished we could have stayed longer, but we loved our stay. Everything was just as described and we were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property if you're in the Redondo Beach area.

Cottage was great

Really enjoyed the stay. The cottage was in a beautiful garden that felt far from LA busyness. Pam and Bill were excellent hosts, and provided lots of info and a pleasant experience. Loved the location, went to the beaches, farmers market, coffee, restaurants. Highest recommendations.

Relaxing and private getaway

A Hidden Gem in Redondo

Pam’s cottage was a perfect place for our visit to Torrance/ Redondo Beach! The cottage was very cute and comfortable for the two of us. The garden setting was beautiful and a great place to enjoy our morning coffee. We would definitely recommend the cottage and would stay here again!

Fantastic vacation!

Thanks so much to Pam and Bill for being the perfect hosts! The cottage listing details was exactly what we found... Very clean, quiet and has everything you need. The cottage is a few blocks from the beach, but it is walkable or you can ride the bikes provided if you don’t want to Pay for parking. Pam has coolers, beach bags, towels and beach chairs for your use. We used the hot tub a couple nights and it was a perfect end to a busy day. From their place it was a nice drive to Malibu, Huntington Beach, Disney or Sofi stadium, all which we visited during our stay. One of our favorite days was riding the bikes from Redondo Beach, up to Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach. We stopped along the way to look in shops, and then treated ourselves on the return trip to happy hour margaritas, chips and queso at the Redondo Beach pier! We appreciated the suggestions from Pam and Bill and hope to visit again next year! Thank you for helping us have a great vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The spa and garden were peaceful. We relaxed in the spa daily. The location is also great. Very close to everything. Property owners are on-sit e and very hands-on so make sure if you are staying here you are OK with that. Overall- lovely stay!

A wonderful, relaxing beach getaway!

We absolutely loved our week-long staying in the cottage! My husband and I visited Redondo for a relaxing “babymoon” vacation, and this was the perfect spot for it. We spent pretty much every day at the beach (which is a pretty quick walk or bike ride away) and checking out a bunch of local restaurants, and then just enjoyed evenings in the cottage (and in the spa!). Pam and Bill were super kind and accommodating. Highly recommend for a simple, easy-going, relaxing vacation!

The cutest cottage

This is the cutest cottage. The space was perfect for me and my husband. The beach is about a mile away, which was an easy walk (or super short car ride). Pam and Rick are the nicest people and excellent hosts. We rode bikes on the beach (bikes and helmets are provided) and we spent some time in the hot tub. We would definitely visit again and stay at the cottage.

Beautiful Cottage surrounded by a garden!

Pam was a very inviting hostess! This cottage was just perfect for the two of us! Surrounded by shrubs, ferns, trees, and flowers! Butterflies, hummingbirds, and squirrels were our visitors! Priced reasonable and had a hot tub that we didn’t use!

Cozy and fun cottage!

We stayed in Pam’s delightful cottage for 4 nights and found it to be as wonderful as all the previous reviews said it would be! The hot tub was an amazing way to relax at the end of our busy days exploring Redondo Beach. The gardens around the cottage were pristine and even more gorgeous in person! We were able to easily walk everywhere we wanted to go in town, and it was great to have access to bikes to explore Hermosa and Manhattan beaches. I loved the cabin decor for cozy evenings. I remarked to my husband that it was as if we had two vacations for the price of one with daytimes on the ocean and a mountain cabin at night! We also truly enjoyed meeting and visiting with Pam and Bill. They were helpful and genuinely kind people who made us feel welcome. Redondo Beach is a wonderful place to visit, and we hope to be back soon!

Garden paradise

Wonderful experience….Host was friendly and helpful. The white folder was an excellent guide to restaurants and attractions in the area. The little house was cozy and the bed was comfortable….Everything that you needed was supplied including cookies, utensils and a washer and dryer. We will definitely stay there again

Zu Gast bei Pam Absher

We are a family of three, all native Californians. Pam grew up in Redondo Beach and is an insurance adjuster. Bill is a retired aerospace engineer and the resident handy man. Susannah is a Board Certified Music Therapist. We are active in our Church. We live for good ice cream and love to travel as a family. Meeting new people brings us joy.

Redondo Beach is a casual beach town. We moved to the Avenues due to the proximty to the beach and the Riviera Village. The Cottage was our place to escape before we added on to our home. It now allows us to share our little slice of heaven with others.

We are approximately 7 blocks east of the Pacific Ocean. South Redondo Beach is 12 miles south of the Los Angeles Airport. We are close to the Palos Verdes Peninsula which has whale watching, hiking trails, tide pools, and beautiful sunsets. One can catch the ferry boat from San Pedro, or Long Beach, to Catalina Island, a quaint resort island 25 miles off the coast. We can be used as a hub to enjoy the many offerings in Los Angeles and Orange County, Disneyland/California Adventure, Knott's Berry Farm, Universal Studios, Staples Center, Dodger Stadium, Downtown Los Angeles, Venice, Santa Monica, Hollywood, Long Beach Aquarium, Los Angeles Zoo, and the Getty Center.
