Family Birthday gathering
Went for a four day three night getaway for a 60th family birthday party. 8 adults and 7 kids (12-3). Sleeping arrangements were great..The kitchen living area was large enough to accompany everyone. The house was super cute and decorated very nicely. It was fully stocked with pots pans utensils etc as well as bathroom towels and essentials. The game room kept the kids occupied, but would have been great if the additional TVs in the house worked. Only the living room TV worked, had to use my own login and get batteries for remotes.The other TVs did not work and/or not hooked up. The fireplace in the living room was not functioning, and luckily had a fireman check to see that it was disconnected from outside. only the kitchen fireplace worked, and luckily, because it was in the teens while we were there. the only other issue was the driveway..literally a sheet of ice...multiple people fell down and slid down the driveway, luckily the cars did not. Very difficult to get the cars up and out of the driveway...salt or sand should have been accessible. luckily no major injuries.the water ran out of hot water quickly, so space out showers. Knowing what I know, I would still return, but navigate around the few issues. as mentioned, very welcoming and pretty...well stocked and plenty in the area.
