Downtown Traverse city is the home to many shops and restaurants, Turtle Creek Casino, and Leelanau Peninsula with it's many wineries. There is something for the outdoor enthusiasts too: Biking or hiking the Tart Trail, skiing or snowboarding at Mt. Holiday, Cross-country skiing or walking the 3k to 25k loop at Vasa Pathway, or enjoying the beach at East Bay Park or Clinch Park.
