Named for the resident Bald Eagles that hang out in the tall Sitka Spruce trees in Pacific Seawatch, the Eagle Vacation Home is perched well above the high tide mark on the south end of Pacific City in Pacific Seawatch. This recently built modern family home has breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, Haystack Rock, Cape Kiwanda, and the Nestucca River. Pet-friendly features in the home include a warm water outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing sand off your feet, a dog bed, and bowls provided. Spend your day on the beach, or stay in and relax on the deck with a glass of wine or Pelican brew.

This two-story home is the epitome of family luxury with room for everyone. It can comfortably sleep up to ten people, so bring the whole family! Relax by the fire in the great room while enjoying the large flat-screen TV, or cook up a feast in the fully outfitted kitchen with high-end stainless steel appliances. This home features two ensuite bedrooms with king beds, one on the main floor. Quiet, private ocean views on the deck. Send the kids downstairs to the family room, which includes games, books, and a flat-screen TV. The bunk room features two twin bunk beds, one double bed on the bottom, and a twin trundle sleeping up to a total of 6 people. The guest bathroom features a tub/shower and double sinks. The laundry room is complete with a sink and a full-size washer and dryer.

Parking: Eagle Vacation Home has plenty of parking for up to 6 medium-sized cars. A large double garage and long driveway accommodate a truck with a trailer. The carport on the main level makes loading and unloading a breeze.

Pacific Seawatch Club House Pool: Located right across the street from the Pacific Seawatch Club House and Pool, with premium workout equipment, a 45' saltwater indoor swimming pool, and a 9-hole mini-golf course. A short 10-minute orientation provides you access to the facility during your stay.
Per requirements by the Pacific Seawatch Homeowners Association, a signed Release Form is required to gain access to the community clubhouse. We will reach out after booking to provide this form to sign.

Nice property but beware if hot tub is important to you

Good: Great location, beautiful views of bay & ocean. Bed in main bedroom was very comfortable. Indoor fireplace in working order & kept the room really warm. The great room upstairs has a nice large screen TV, w/streaming apps available (you need to have your own account to sign-in). Main kitchen appliances were nice, although not a ton of spices/supplements (tinfoil would have been nice) but adequate for cooking at home. There is a pair of eagles local to the neighborhood that we enjoyed watching. Bad: Received an email 1 day before our trip from Oregon Beach Vacations noting that the hot tub was not working & offering a refund for ~6% of the price of the reservation. I called to request a cancellation/reschedule, OBV would not allow us to cancel or reschedule but eventually offered a discount equating to 18%, which seemed closer to the market value of the increase over non-hot tub properties, & we accepted. I think it’s important for potential renters to understand the uncertain availability of the advertised hot tub & what they can expect to receive as compensation should it be unavailable. Also, we were told that the late notification of the hot tub’s unavailability was because the guest before us didn’t notify OBV until check-out, but in the review preceding mine, a guest 6 days before our stay noted that they experienced this issue and had notified OBV promptly (which I believe). In short- very nice property, beware of the advertised hot tub.

Birthday Trip

The photos were accurate in depicting the property itself. Everything was clean and tidy. The directions provided prior to the reservation were clear. The listing stated a hot tub was available to use, but when my family and I got the to the property, it was not in working order. I messaged the host, but did not hear back until the day of departure. There was a community center that we initially had difficulty accessing, but with a couple phone calls, we were able to use the facilities. Overall, communication could have been much better and not being able to use the hot tub was unfortunate, but the property itself was in a nice location and had plenty of things to do to keep up occupied. The beds were also comfortable to sleep in, and the opportunity to bring my dogs was a nice perk.

Beautiful house with a gorgeous view; great for groups!

We had a wonderful long weekend at this gorgeous house. Amazing view, with access to beautiful Pacific City with its many beauty spots and great restaurants and cafes. The house is beautiful and clean. The bedrooms are all private and seem to have a great sound-proofing, so it is great if you are visiting with a group. The Clubhouse next door is amazing. Super easy check-in and check-out without a big chore list. We loved this house, and I expect we will be back!

Beautiful home with a great view

Our group of 3 couples had a wonderful time. The view is fantastic and able to be seen from most rooms in the house. The beds are very comfortable with nice linens. The multiple TV rooms/sitting areas are nice for enabling a large group to do separate things easily and comfortably. The hot tub location on the main deck means that it has the same spectacular view, and other than the water being fixed to a lower temperature than we like, it was a highlight each evening. The club house next door is very nice, and we enjoyed the 9-hole mini-golf course there, too. Overall it was a very nice place to stay, and we will keep it in mind for future weekends away.

Great quick getaway home

We had a great visit with 3 adults, 3 kids and 3 dogs. The layout of the house was great. The bedrooms were well insulated so you couldn’t hear the noise from the main kitchen/ living room. Amazing views. We will definitely book again! Few things to note: -Hot tub was nice but needs a stool to help get in. -Reach out early if you want to use the pool. Great perk right across the street. We had a little trouble figuring out how to access because there were no instructions. We called the contact number provided in the email and got routed to a local property manager who didn’t answer or call back. But she did come by a little bit later to check on us. By then, we had found the key card and figured out how it all worked by ourselves. -TVs have cable but don’t allow you to access streaming services. Bring your Roku or fire stick All said it was a fantastic break from normal life

Would definitely stay here again

We all loved it! Great location with beautiful views, and directly across from the clubhouse. It was clean and big enough for 2 families of 4 with doggie! There were tons of games that kids and adults enjoyed and the hot tub was really nice. The only things that were a bit of trouble: there was no lock box and the codes we were given were swapped in the email so we were left in the cold rain trying to get it figured out. I finally swapped the codes on a hunch and that worked. Also when we were on the phone trying to get in, we were told that we’d need to do paperwork at the office to use the clubhouse but it was closed when we arrived just after 4. We went to the office in the morning when it should have been open but wasn’t. After some communication difficulties, a staff member drove all the way up from Lincoln city to help us out which was amazing. Besides those issues, we had an absolutely great time and the kids have been asking daily to go back there. Will definitely book again and hopefully for longer. Thanks so much!

Do We Have to Leave?

We had an amazing stay at this vacation property! Everything was clean and up to date. We loved the decor throughout the house and of course especially enjoyed the views from every window! The games were an added bonus as we had young children with us. Having the clubhouse and mini golf course directly across the road was an added bonus. So easy to keep everyone occupied and happy. We highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to spend time in this area.

We loved it there, beautiful house and location. When I called and inquired about access to the clubhouse and indoor pool someone came and met me within 10 minutes and was very helpful and professional. Kids loved the pool, Great stay!

Beautiful home base

The house was a great place to stay to relax and use as a home base for day trips. The only downside was that in the property description it was noted that there was a pool and exercise facility available, which to me meant during normal hours you could just go in and use the facilities. The reality is that the pool is not very large and due to previous COVID and ongoing HOA restrictions, appointments need to be made to access these areas. This was a big disappointment for a family who likes to relax at the pool after a long day of activities. I mentioned to the property manager that this should be clarified for future visitors.

Beautiful Views

There is a private hot tub on the top deck of the duplex, so it’s beautiful to sit in the hot tub and watch the sunset. The house was clean and stylish. They had some dog stuff for our dog- a dog bed, food bowls and a mat for the bowls. Close to delicious local restaurants for take out and an easy drive to the beach! It was a restful stay for us :)

Gorgeous home with a great view!

We loved staying in this property, and only wished we had a few more nights to enjoy the home and Pacific City! The kitchen is well stocked, the beds and couches are super comfortable, and there are loads of games to keep kids busy. It would be the perfect home for 2 families with kids to stay in, and we hope to return with friends once Covid is under control.

Amazing stay in a lovely property

This place was fabulous and spacious for our group of 4 women for a few days away. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed so we could cook some lovely meals together. The hot tub was perfect and having breakfast on the deck with the views was a highlight. The check-in was a bit stressful having to chase for the instructions and address after 5pm from property manager. Once we arrived everything was great.

Beautiful property!

The condo is very clean and new with breathtaking views. The hot tub is a great addition and wonderful to sit in at night. You can actually see the stars as there is little light pollution. The beds are comfortable, spacious showers with great water pressure, and a well equipped kitchen. The property manager is friendly and helpful. It is a quiet little community with plenty of restaurants. I would recommend this property for a relaxing vacation.

Our new go to!

This space was beautiful and comfortable. Multilevel was great with kids. The kitchen has everything we needed and the pool was the highlight (until it closed mid-stay, thanks COVID-19!). I would definitely recommend!
