The lower level of the home doubles the fun and entertainment! Lounge in the spacious second living room or play a favorite game; a table for 4 provides the perfect spot for a game of cards. The bunk room offers two sets of twin bunk beds, a foosball table, a mini-split, and a seating area. Also on the lower level is a second bedroom with a king-size bed and a full bathroom with hallway access. Step outside to a lower-level patio with ample options for seating and entertainment: the hot tub, a porch swing, a picnic table, and a hammock await you. Monkey Boat also boasts a private dock with an available boat slip, paddleboards, and a canoe available for guest use!

Located just 45 minutes from Asheville in Nebo, this upscale lakefront home is the perfect place to get away and enjoy everything the Lake James area has to offer. Spend your days exploring nearby hiking trails like the Fonta Flora Loop in Lake James State Park or High Shoal Falls in South Mountains State Park before grabbing a refreshing craft beer at Fonta Flora's open-air brewery at Whippoorwill Farm approximately 10 minutes away. Take a short 15-minute drive to reach downtown Marion where you can spend your afternoon exploring the new 310 District, an indoor shopping space that's home to Toonez Chop House, Chances of Sprinkles Bakery, and several retail shops. For dinner, head to J. Hartman's for fresh seafood and a cocktail, or McDowell Local for a handcrafted dish paired with the NC staple, Cheerwine.

This home is located within the Arbor subdivision of Lake James and offers exclusive access to community amenities that include a covered pavilion area with a wood-burning fireplace and several park-style grills. If bringing a boat trailer, please ensure it is parked in the driveway only and not on the road or on the mulch areas.
