It will be hard to drag yourself off the comfortable lanai, so be sure to stock the built-in wet bar with your favorite beverages and snacks. The home’s orientation also enhances the inside view out windows on both sides of the corner. Behind the view is the premier spacious 2-bedroom floor plan. The home is in pristine condition. The interior of the condo has been completely upgraded with hardwood floors and crown moldings to complement the African mahogany cabinetry. Subzero and Wolf appliances in the kitchen are ready for the serious cook. Quality furnishings and artwork have been selected to provide a counterpoint to the outstanding views. From the master bedroom, you will hear the sound of whales in the winter, and sleep to the slapping of waves year-round. The second bedroom is large enough to serve as a second master. Located at the opposite end of the condo for privacy, it enjoys Mauna Kea views.

The Neighborhood:
Private Ocean Club, just 49 steps away. Offering an adult infinity swimming pool, a kiddie swimming pool, a jacuzzi, an oceanfront open-air fitness center, and a coconut grove area with barbecue grills, hammocks, and picnic tables. The Hali'i Kai neighborhood includes a new putting green, tennis court, and half basketball court. The Ocean Club Bar & Grill serves lunch, dinner, pupus, and drinks until past sunset.

The white sand beach of Anaehoomalu Bay is an easy drive or healthy walk away. Check out the new Lava Lava Beach Club. The Kings Shops and Queens Marketplace provide fine shopping, dining, and entertainment options, and a gourmet supermarket.

Getting Around:
The property is located just 18 miles from the Kona International Airport. The Big Island has much to see and do and it it highly advised that Guests rent a car to take advantage of the many things this island has to offer. Hawaii Island does not have abundant public transportation, so renting a car is best. However, if you do not drive you may consider hiring a charter tour, driver or Uber.

Halii Kai never disappoints

This was our 3rd stay at Halii Kai and our first at an oceanfront unit. What a treat even though the whales had not yet arrived. I never thought a sectional on the lanai would be a game changer but now it may be a “must have”. Wonderful to comfortably sit with our morning coffee or at sunset with an adult beverage. The condo had dimmers to add to the ambience, a very well appointed kitchen with everything we needed including foil and plastic wrap not to mention spices galore. Pods and dryer sheets in the laundry room were greatly appreciated. This is a popular unit and the combo of location/amenities and service by Burt and his team Make it well worth the daily rate.

Perfect!

My husband and I just returned from an 8 day stay on the Big Island at Hali'i Kai and loved it. This unit was perfect - had an incredible view of the ocean, it was quiet, comfortable and we can't wait to go back. It was only my husband and I but it would definitely accommodate another couple because of the 2 King Beds. The location next to the Ocean Club is awesome also. Burt and the team from Better Homes were very communicative and helpful.

Beautiful view

Everything you needed in the kitchen and for beach/pool toys. Comfortable beds, deck furniture and condo size. Convenient next door to pool and fitness facility. Very clean and nice! Enjoyed eating our breakfast on back patio looking for spinner dolphins and watching the outrigger canoes row by.

Fantastic location, beautiful, well-stocked, clean condo! Exactly as pictured.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. From arrival to departure, everything was smooth. The condo is one of the best stocked condos I’ve ever stayed at. Ample space, beautiful decor, and immaculately clean. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. On a clear day, you get views of Maui. The pool and onsite restaurant are also both spectacular. Burt was great to work with and provided clear instructions. Highly recommend this place to stay. .

Great Month of Aloha!

The unit at Hali'i Kai was one of the best we've ever leased. This was our third time visiting Waikoloa Beach in the last 13 months and the accommodations were the best thus far. The views from the unit are better than the pictures and we loved being close to the club and pool. Our 3 year old loved snorkeling in the pool and riding her scooter on the roads and. Would definitely consider this unit again and Burt, the manager was fantastic and very responsive to our needs. Maholo!

Wonderful!

Condo was wonderful for our family, it was gorgeous, clean and well maintained. Would stay here again. Unit is very short walk from pool. Beach equipment (chairs, towels, umbrella and cooler) was a huge plus for beach days. Condo is only 10-15 minute drive from Hapuna beach, one of the best in Hawaii.

Great Stay

The only thing disappointing for us was the inability to book our vacation here in 2024. I’ve been on all he islands and love Kona. I have never had the whale and dolphin show we had off our back deck 24/7. Was wonderful along with perfect place for sunset toasts.

This property was way beyond my expectations! Clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The Ocean Club was fabulous with great food and drinks. We couldn’t be happier with our time here. The unit has a great view and being so close to the pool and restaurant made life easier. The restaurant is wonderful. We ate there 3 out of 7 nights because it is so convenient, with very friendly staff, great ocean view and great food! The shops in Waikloa village are close and convenient and the market there has everything you need and more! The unit is nicely furnished like a resort but has comforts of home. We were delighted to find many items we needed in the pantry and kitchen. We brought some of our own but were pleasantly surprised to find abundance of laundry service products. The towels were fresh and fluffy (better than resort). We had a great time using the boogie boards at Hapuna beach. The snorkel gear was old so we bought new and gifted it to the unit. The unit is in a great location to many places we wanted to visit. We arrived in the evening and Burt (management) was very responsive to our questions and provided the needed codes to enter the unit. The sun rises early in Hawaii. I recommend bringing a sleep mask. We look forward to returning to Hawaii and would definitely stay at this development (specifically this unit) again! FYI a similar unit in the building next door had an open house while we were there and it is listed for $2.4M if interested in a great property. We were happy to find this gem!

Best Location Ever

The grounds, pool, nearby beaches, helpful management team, and perhaps the best view from any condo in the area combine for a wonderful stay. Don't forget to bring binoculars for morning and evening whale watching from the unobstructed 2nd floor ocean view porch.

Can't get any closer to the water

Actually, this one is even better than the pictures! Right on the edge of the lava, looking into the sunset. You won't want to leave at sunset time, because this is the best spot there is. Upscale from the entry to the front lanai, wonderful furnishings, and comfortable too. Manager is the best, and very responsive to your requests.

Absolutely Amazing!

This condo was exactly as the pictures show and what the description reads. There were two of us, but would be ideal for four adults as well. We had everything needed for all of our cooking, of which we did often, and for beach days. The pool is beautiful and the location is perfect. The property manager was extremely polite, helpful, and proactively engaging. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to friends in the future.

We had a great stay at this property. The property is beautiful as pictured and had just what we needed for our five night stay. While there were just two of us staying here, it's perfectly set up for two couples or a small family.
