Welcome to Salt and Lime, a gorgeous three-story, six-bedroom, five-bathroom home in the Royal Sands community. Here, you’ll find ultimate relaxation inside and out. Enjoy beautiful sunsets with pond views on the balcony or take a dip in your own private pool with a built-in sun shelf. If you and your crew want to spread out, head to one of two community pools on the property or take a short walk to the beach for a day in the surf!

Upon entering, you’ll find an open floor plan with plenty of space to gather without feeling cut off from your loved ones. The living room is full of overstuffed furniture, perfect for snuggling up to watch your favorite shows. The gourmet kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and is fully equipped for you to whip up delicious meals. Eat your meals together at the dining table, or spread out with a game of cards!

Get a good night’s sleep before your beach adventures in any one of the well-appointed and comfy bedrooms. The primary suite has a king-size bed and a private bathroom. The second bedroom boasts a king-size bed while the third and fourth bedrooms each have a queen-size bed. The fifth bedroom has a twin-size bunk bed and the sixth bedroom has a twin-over-full-size bunk bed. There are four other full bathrooms nearby, so no one will have to wait in line for their turn to shower!

Nice home

This home is very nice. The couch covers in the living room were dirty they need to be washed or changed. The pool was dirty when we arrived but they came and cleaned it the next day. No blinds at the doors people can walk up and look into home. Not all bedrooms have TV in them.

Not as described but very convenient near beach

Let me start by saying PLEASE UPDATE THE LISTING AS IT IS VERY MISLEADING. From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted by roaches large, small, medium you name it. You can tell that the home had been swiftly cleaned upon our check-in. There is NO TV on the third floor, also lots of other rooms had NO TV and based on the description, every single room is supposed to have had one. There is also NO OUTDOOR TV. The few tvs that were in the home, DID NOT WORK. I had to cast my phone to the living room tv, which was very draining to my battery AND the remote did not work. We made a call to maintenance our first night and no one came out. Ice maker was dirty and clogged so we had to clean it. The late check-in and early check out makes absolutely no sense in pricing. The ONLY pros of the home were that we had a private pool and are literally 2 minutes or less from the beach and that it sleeps a ton of people. Overall, my family had a great weekend at the beach, but this home is not the same home as what is in the description, and most of the photos are misleading. Had we known all rooms wouldn’t have tv’s as promised, probably would not have booked. Maintenance was sent out by the rental company and pretty much stated that our complaints were invalid, even with us sending in pictures to Logan, who was very helpful. I’m sure my review will not make much of a difference, but it seems most people who have booked this property are complaining of the same things.

Disappointed

All beds except the one on the 3rd floor were uncomfortable! Roaches, roaches and more roaches. There were tiny ones and medium ones and a couple of large ones. All over the kitchen and living room! Disgusting! And, we didn't leave food out!

Very nice house with great amenities. Your staff is very friendly and helpful. Not complaining just some items I want to bring to your attention. 1) I realize the house is used by many but, the floor was not very clean, I swept it as soon as we arrived and collected quite a bit of dirt. It really needs a good mopping and waxing. 2) The palm trees behind this house were being trimmed and the debris fell into the pool rendering it unusable for us on our last whole day. 3) There were some small roaches in the kitchen, mostly around the stove and counter. 4.) The golf cart appears to need some attention as it sputtered for quite awhile before we could use it also, it only had 3/4 of a tank and we left it filled as per our agreement. 5) The rinse shower located outside of the garage discharged hot water only, the water never came out cold as in the inside showers. 6) The second floor shower facing the street was clogged, we discovered this upon our first use and used a plunger to get it to drain a little better. 7) The ceiling fan in the living room is very loose and makes a lot of noise, we were unable to use it. We did advise your staff of this on our way out. Just wanted to let you know about these items. 5. 3)

I was disappointed. The house was nice but it had issues. The shower on the second floor would drain very slow and the pressure was very low too. The pool was dirty when we arrived but someone cleaned it. It was nice for a day but then the pump wasn't working to keep the water clean and the jet's were not regulating the water. But the worse part was that we spent alot of time killing roaches. We even went to the store and bought medicine to spray around.

Loved proximity to the beach and pool in fenced back yard

We had a great time and the house accommodated a large group. I was disappointed in the cleanliness. Two garbage cans that reeked of fish were in front of the house because they didn’t put the garbage out early enough to be picked up. Also found candy wrappers left over from previous renter. Also only 3 bedrooms had TVs that worked.

Always great at Salt and Lime

2022 was our fourth year staying at Salt and Lime. We love the house and are booking our trip in the same house for 2023. We noticed some updates they did this year which was nice to see. New paint and furniture. There are a few small maintenance issues that need to be addressed, but all in all it's a great house and perfect layout for our large family.

The property was in a good location to the beach .the pool was nice

The pics are from a earlier time . The property had different furniture and a different golf cart which was rented from a local shop . Which I could have done on my own, had to pull over on the way down to give credit card info again which made no since if I rented it all as a package .. There was PJ left on second floor front bunk room and trash under pillow. There was blood on a door frame left which I have pics of all before we occupied property. All in all we enjoyed are stay just wish property was more accurate on description , pics and cleanliness ..

Disappointing

When we first arrived, it did not appear as though the unit had been cleaned very well. There were finger prints on all the appliances in the kitchen and the ground floor felt sandy even though we took off our shoes before entering. The pool in the back had clearly not been vacuumed or cleaned prior to our arrival. Many of the beds were loud and squeaky even without much movement. None of the TVs were connected to the WiFi our entire stay and we were not able to utilize any of them. When we connected to the WiFi through our phones the connection was so poor that we could not even listen to music with the Bluetooth speaker we brought. We had a total of 14 people which is why we booked such a large house, yet there were only 4 dining chairs, which made meal times and family games nearly impossible to enjoy all together. We come to Port A, every April and we will not be booking this unit in the future.

we had a great vacation, the home worked great for our group. no grill on site, staff brought a small one out which we appreciated, but it was broken, so I fixed it, he also stated he would bring another larger one, which never happened. The house was clean, however it is showing wear and tear and is in need of some maintenance...white couch stained, trash bins missing top and cracked (attracted birds all week), garage door opener torn off door - not operable, shades have wear spots. Improvement suggestions - table settings to sit 13, couch seating to sit 13, we could not all sit together to eat or gather to watch movies etc, this would make my guest experience much better.

We really enjoyed our time there.

The house itself was very nice, just a few things that could have made it better: The garage door doesn't open. A board is off of the backyard fence. The first floor back patio light doesn't work. The Keurig coffee maker didn't work, but was replaced with another one. The clock on the wall doesn't have any clock hands on it. The master bedroom night stand light had a crack.....just to let you know we didn't do that. The third floor toilet wouldn't stop running. The golf cart was half full when we got there. We did not fill it up because of that. When we drove it to the beach one time, it was so weak that it had to be pushed up the walkway with only 2 adults on it, and another adult and child pushing it up to the level area. There were stains on the couch. The bar stool close to the window has a loose back part to the back section of it.

Fun Family Holiday

The house accommodated our entire family very comfortably. The proximity of the house to the beach and the inclusion of the golf cart made it very easy for us to come and go from the beach. We were surprised at how small the pool was; however, it turned out to be the perfect size for the little ones. Two concerns that need to be addressed: #1 The foot of my daughter and her husband's king sized bed collapsed in the middle of the night while they were sleeping (they are not "big" people) and they slept the rest of the night on an incline. When they took a look in the morning, it appeared that the bed had been broken before and had been "fixed." #2 Five forks is not sufficient for a house that sleeps 12. We did get a chuckle out of the fact that the kitchen clock had no hands on it to indicate the time (but then, if you're on vacation, you don't really need to know the time!). All in all, it was a great time and a fun place to stay! We would do it again!

Very nice house roomy and comfortable beach not far from the house our family loved the golf cart.

The only thing I was disappointed was the pool was not clean and they came to clean it but had to wait 2 hours before the kids could get in. I feel that was inconvenient should have been cleaned before we got here. Also TVs wouldn’t come on in the bed room . Ur other then that it was a very nice comfortable place thanks

Great Location, Great Layout and Size….lacking some details

Check-in was late, which was understandable due to weird weather they had been having and cleaning stuff were running behind. While we were waiting we tried to take the golf cart out, unlocked the lock box, no key. I tried to call the specific golf cart help line, which was just a recording, I tried to call the main number, No answer. I called all the numbers I could find at 4pm on a Thursday and no one would answer, eventually the cleaning person found it in a bowl inside. The house sleeps 13-15 and there are 5 forks. There was a lot of debris in the pool and I wanted to clean it out, but there was no skimmer basket anywhere: so I emailed the check in people and I was told pools are cleaned weekly. No assistance with getting a skimmer basket or any real help at all. The house looks rough on the inside. In the photos there is a nice couch in reality there is a sofa that has four or five fleece blankets tucked around it to try abs make a slip cover because it’s so dirty. There were two dishwasher packs which doesn’t seem enough for a group for more than a day or two. Cabinets hang from some hinges abs everything, floorboards, walls, tiles are just pretty beat up. The layout and size was great and the location was awesome. It was functional (once we got passed the fork issue) and we made the best of it.

Very nice property

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was spacious and clean and accommodated our group well. We have some minor recommendations---we were there during a rainy time and could have used a mop to easily keep the floors clean and dry. Two of the upstairs king mattresses were uncomfortable---we ran to WalMart for a mattress topper. We didn't have enough chairs to seat our party for meals, even using a stepladder from the garage. Two more garbage bags would have helped us make it through our 3-day stay. But we loved the golf cart and pool and found everything else exceeded our expectations. Thank you for an amazing time. We will definitely come again if we ever have the opportunity and will recommend this property highly to our friends. Thank you!

Perfect Family Vacation

We loved the Salt & Lime and plan to stay again! The included golf cart made the stay so much better, especially since we were just there for a weekend. It was so easy to get the family out to the beach and back to the house quickly. And the private pool was the perfect size for our 2 year old and 4 year old. We all had a lovely time!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rooms need tvs in all of them but it was very spacious and had adequate bathroom! Bring extra towels and wash clothes. Loved the balconies on both sides and the pool was fantastic. The beach is a short walk and the cart is great for carrying beach necessities. We would definitely rent again!!!

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay. The only disappointment was the lack of cookware in the kitchen. Otherwise it was great!
