Peaceful Getaway - Close to Everything

Our peaceful getaway is cleaned meticulously and we follow all COVID cleaning guidelines. Everything is cleaned and sanitized after each quest stay. This getaway is located adjacent to Alum Creek State Park that offers many outdoor activities as well as your own wooded tranquil environment. You will have your own private living space w/private well lit entry, deck seating and fire-pit perfect for stargazing. All set up to enjoy your private outdoor space.

The living space is designed for a peaceful, clean, comfortable, restful stay. Includes newer couch with two large recliners, couch table for study and dinning, bookshelves, board games, 58" ROKU smart tv, electric fireplace, kitchenette w/sink, refrigerator and microwave, full service coffee nook (coffee provided), large closet, full length mirror, iron/ironing board ideal for extended stays.

To provide you with a good night's stay we have chosen a new high quality Novilla cool sleep mattress and top of the line Miracle Brand self cooling sheets/pillow cases.

Nice getaway package

Very nice area. Close to everything but not in all the traffic & congestion. Decor is beautiful. So nice to have a Keurig coffee maker. Nice for a couple & maybe 1 or 2 children.

Cozy Spot

Originally booked for 3 adults and a toddler but one adult ended up staying elsewhere because the only bathroom was accessed through the bedroom and the walls didn’t reach to the ceiling. Cute place for a couple or small family, several nice amenities.

Great and Convenient stay!

Close enough to the highway and close to tons of greater-Columbus activities. The Polaris mall less than 10 minutes away and surrounding area has lots to do. Easton mall is also just a short drive. The Cinemark movie theater is amazing too, it has great seats. The property itself was very clean and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting, especially compared to staying in a hotel.

Very sweet space

We were in town to visit the zoo and found this affordable space. It was very clean and charmingly decorated. The host was very communicative prior to the stay with a couple of questions we had about the space. I definitely recommend this property!

Great location and attention to detail!

Property was very well-thought out. Attention to detail in the small touches, decor, and overall organization and layout really impressed us. The location was also excellent! Beautiful Place

We really loved the property and the room was absolutely gorgeous and quite cozy. We were in Ohio for my son to shoot in the National Championship so we didn’t get to spend a whole lot of time in the room. I injured my knee a couple of months ago so the steps were a little difficult, but other than that it was great! The host responded quickly to every question.

Perfect home away from home

The inside of the property was beautiful and comfortable. Terry had everything we needed to enjoy our stay there: Premade fire pit out back for making s’mores. Flat and open yard where we played catch. Cute little kitchenette for making our ‘on the go’ quick meals. The coffee bar was also delightful. There is nothing better than a good morning cup of coffee to soak in the tranquility of the space before our chaotic Zoo-extravaganza began each day. My daughter is already talking about next year’s Columbus Zoo trip and staying there again. Thank you for your hospitality, Terry.

Great place, great hosts

We truly enjoyed the property - a beautiful setting, close to everything, hosts were very responsive to all our inquiries, and the welcoming set-up was so unexpected and appreciated. They set up the bonfire to perfection and allowed us to connect with family in a wonderfully relaxed environment. Every detail was thought out and anticipated, from the Keurig and coffee bar to the bottled water that greeted us. The stairs to access the apartment are on the steep side but the views are so wonderful. There's a private sitting area on the elevated deck overlooking the yard.

Lovely, peaceful haven. Loved sitting on the back deck overlooking the back yard Terry installed a portable air conditioner in about 5 minutes for our last night as weather got quite warm on our last day.

Family gathering place

We needed a place to stay that was comfortable to catch up,because the three of us live in three different states . We didn't plan on cooking , so we had all we needed. It was a beautiful setting and close to conveniences, even though it felt remote. Sleeping was comfortable, housing very attractive and we would love to come back

Enjoyable Galena Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed the property and our time there. Clean, comfortable, and fun. We would've liked to light a small fire in fireplace but couldn't get that going for some reason. You are close to many things to do there which is nice for options. I loved the updated decor, coziness, games and coffee bar. Thank you!

Galena Getaway Was Nice!

Great location near just about everything. Less than 30 minutes from the Columbus Zoo, CoSi, multiple malls and movie theaters, and a ton of dining options. Property was clean and very comfortable. Careful packing heavy luggage, there’s a sorta-steep staircase to the entrance. Careful with the shower curtain, it could be easy to get water all over the bathroom floor if you aren’t paying attention to the bottom. The host is responsive and I only had very positive interactions with them over Vrbo messaging. I’m grateful for the opportunity to stay here with my girlfriend!
