Labor Day Weekend
The room was great and the communication from the owner was, too. There was plenty of room for all of us and great views. Easy access to the beach and pool. However, the parking garage and elevators at the building will sadly make many not want to rent again. The parking garage isn’t built for more than one vehicle to come through at a time and it takes a while to get to the reserved parking spot. As in, I can walk to WalMart across the street faster than I could drive there. As far as the elevators, there aren’t near enough for a building that size. It takes 20 mins to catch an elevator and make it to the ground floor to go out to eat, to the pool/beach, etc. Leaving to check out took us 2 hours bc we had to go down separately while waiting on an elevator with enough room to fit the luggage cart. (There also aren’t enough luggage carts for a building of that size.) Several other vacationers stated the same about the elevators. Many were getting on any that had room whether they were going up or down because they didn’t know when the next one would come through. I’m sure the holiday weekend didn’t help but a condo this large should have more than 6 elevators.
All in all, the room was great and we enjoyed our time. However, the parking garage and elevator situation overshadowed the rest of it unfortunately.
