I tried numerous times to contact the owner of the property because there were some issues with the reservation. He did not respond to my messages and only answered his phone five days prior to our visit. He stated that everything was fine but the next morning I received a message from VRBO stating that this property was double booked and he would have to find me another one of his houses. I did not get the address for this new reservation until 48 hours prior to arrival. Needless to say, this created a lot of stress. The house we stayed at had water damage to the ceiling; a beeping noise the entire time we were there; the most uncomfortable, cheap furniture; and police circling the property at night because of a suspected shooting. I received a message from the owner after we had already checked out, asking if we needed anything. Obviously, that was a little too late. I can't recommend staying at any of this owner's properties. The price looks low but the fees are very high. I would have been better off staying at an extended stay hotel, which would have been more comfortable, had better amenities, and been cheaper.
